Because construction projects can end or change unexpectedly, committing to a long-term membership is difficult for me. I stopped by on Saturday to ask about classes and membership options and explained my situation. I was told about the standard memberships and that I could also purchase individual classes, so I booked one class for Sunday to try it out. After my class, which I really enjoyed, I spoke with Maddie and explained everything again. I told her I loved the studio and wanted to continue, but I couldn't risk being tied to a contract if my company transferred me. Maddie actually listened and tried to find a solution. I asked if she could contact the owner because I had been told this location was independently owned, and she immediately sent the owner a message. Since it was Sunday, I completely understood that there wasn't an immediate response. Instead of stopping there, Maddie kept thinking about my situation and remembered that they offer a Flex Membership. That was exactly what I needed. The Flex option allows me to continue taking classes without being tied to the same long-term commitment. It does cost a little more, but for someone who travels for work and may need to relocate unexpectedly, having that flexibility is absolutely worth it. What impressed me most was Maddie's customer service. She was knowledgeable, patient, transparent, and genuinely interested in helping me instead of simply trying to sell me something. She carefully explained the billing and renewal process, walked me through the app, showed me how to schedule classes, and answered every question I had. At one point I honestly thought she was a manager because of how professionally she handled everything. To the owner: please recognize Maddie. She is an asset to your studio. The information I originally received did not include the Flex option, and if Maddie had not taken the initiative to look for another solution, I may not have become a member at all. She turned a one-class customer into an Unlimited Flex member simply by listening and finding an option that fit my situation. I also really appreciate that the studio offers evening classes because I work until 5:00 PM. My only suggestion would be for Thursdays. The regular class is at 5:00 PM and the Intro class is at 6:00 PM. I would love to see those switched, or another regular class offered at 6:00 PM, so people who work until 5:00 have a better opportunity to attend. For anyone temporarily living in Ocala or traveling here for work, ask about the Flex Membership. Overall, I really enjoyed the facility and my class, but Maddie is what made the experience stand out. Her knowledge, patience, energy, and willingness to go above and beyond are exactly what great customer service should look like. Thank you, Maddie!

I am a married woman in my late 20s. I've been using this gym for 2+ years. Recently there was an increase in predatory behavior where old white men were staring, lurking close, and demonstrating concerning behavior. I reported more than 3 instances immediately to staff working and the gym policy was for me to email the owner. The owner said they would review footage. All I asked was that my complaint against specific people be documented. I didn't seek anyone's personal info but in case anything happened to me I wanted a record that I was made to feel uncomfortable. Women have a way/feeling that helps us discern when someone's gaze has inappropriate intentions. I also met another woman at the gym who also complained about creepy men there. She actually went back into the gym for me after an encounter I had. I left my car key when I confronted an old man who was following me/trying to be behind me while I was working legs. I was laughed at behind closed doors by staff and instead of feeling like my concerns were met with protective measures I was gaslight and ignored. I'll be happy skipping on my way to cancel my membership tomorrow. It's be a long time coming!

When I went to train, I was unexpectedly informed that my membership had been canceled. The owner and Powerlifting coach mentioned it was "nothing personal" and that they wanted to avoid any drama with me and the other members. Despite this, I was the only one who faced such a punishment, which felt extremely one- sided and unfair. This situation has not only disrupted my training routine but has also left me questioning the gym's management and their commitment to treating all members equally. We agreed that I could return after a 3 month ban set to return on March 1st 2025 and when I did he let me train for one day before texting me at 4am the next day saying that he would "pass" on my membership. I hope the gym reconsiders how they handle such situations in the future, as no member should feel unfairly targeted. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this gym unless changes are made in their membership policies and dispute resolution process.
