Dangerous Drivers - Use Caution…read more A Cove Tent driver acted with such a lack of safety that we felt we were in danger. After cutting us off on the road, and unhappy that we honked at him, he proceeded to sit in the four-way intersection, blocking all traffic. When we attempted to drive around him, he accelerated, aiming the large truck toward our car, and then continued to block traffic. Twice we called to speak with a manager/owner about our concerns, wanting to share the danger/liability their drivers were exposing the company to. While the receptionist was polite and concerned, neither call was returned as promised. While the company highlights the "family ownership" of their business, they don't seem to share the family values most people share. As to whether it is wise to rent from a company based on these facts, I'll leave that to the reader. But use caution.

There was supposed to be a site inspection but they never got around to it. When I called, they said it looked ok based on images of the property online. Ok Fine. I pOn the day of delivery, missed their arrival window 2-4p and after I called and left a VM, I got an email saying they would definitely still be Coming tonight. They ended up coming between 8-10p. Ok fine. There were a few bulbs not working on the tent and they left the tables and chairs folded under the tent for us to lay out. It was raining. Ok fine. There was no communication about pick up. The scheduled time on the invoice came and went and I randomly saw them removing the tent a day later. Didn't even ring the doorbell. Got the job done, but definitely need to work on their communication.

I had purchased balloons for my wedding party in advance but unfortunately due to a sudden diagnosis of cancer, I had to cancel our party. ALL of the other vendors that I left deposits with were understanding and ALL of them returned my deposits, however Anne informed me that they don't do refunds, even though we were still 4 weeks out from the event so during a time of crisis, I was out $500. I should have never paid full price from the start - most vendors only request a deposit, for this reason alone. She then told me that the owner would contact me to try and resolve the matter but I never heard from them. Moral of the story is don't pay their full price up front - this company just wants your money.
