All I can say is "wow!!" Karen and her team were great from start to finish: they are very professional and responsive, with excellent customer service. Although I had my own vision, Karen provided expert suggestions to help me refine my concept. She also has access to a wide range of fabrics and trim. The work on my two chairs and sofa was done impeccably, and completed sooner than I expected. I highly recommended Tony's Unique Upholstery! read more

recommended by a friend to refinish and refresh our mid century antique sofa set. we made an appointment and went to their shop to see their workmanship. The owner, Karen, showed their work in progress and some finished work. There were many workers working at that time. They refinish the wood, do the upholstery, do leather work. we felt very comfortable to let them restore our furniture and then some. They came and picked up our furniture last week. read more

I cannot recommend Tony's enough. From the moment I went to a consultation to discuss fabrics for reupholstering my lazy boy chair, the sweet lady who helped me knew exactly what I was looking for. Tony's Unique Upholstery did a fantastic job reupholstering two chairs for me. They took the time to chat about my ideas for the final product and were upfront and honest about pricing and timeframe to complete the job. It was almost like traveling back in time, maybe 20years, ago when customer service was a priority for small businesses, what a treat! Thank you Tony and Karen! read more

I had researched and quoted probably about 10 different upholstery shops throughout Dade and Broward before finding Tony's. Karen's ( I think that was her name, not sure) attention via email and phone was impeccable, she was amazingly helpful in helping me choose the fabric and they were super cost efficient considering the speed and great service. They also had the most varied ( and fun!) fabric inventory from all the places I've been to. Highly highly recommend! read more

I'm rating this place on service alone. I took two outdoor sofa seat cushions to this shop for replacement of the Sunbrella fabric covers. They agreed to do a rush job--something another upholstery shop could not do. When the business owner saw the cushions she told me that i did not need her services. Instead of taking my money, she explained to me how to wash and dry the covers so that i did not have to go through the expense of replacing them. I am so grateful for their unselfish honesty. I'm pretty sure i could have taken my cushions to 100 other shops and 100 of them would have taken my money and sewed new covers for me! If you want fair and honest treatment for your upholstery needs, this is the place. read more

This was the most unbelievable experience that I have had working with a company EVER. They were reasonably priced yet Karen was well versed in every designer fabric that I wanted to use. She found everything that I was looking for and actually helped me with the interior design component which was a major added bonus! Karen went above and beyond to help me create exactly what I had in mind. Tony is a true master of his craft and the kindest man! All companies should look to Tony's Upholstery as the model for what customer service and professionalism is. I can't wait to work with them again. read more

I wanted to reupholster a sofa, chair and ottoman that has been worn down by my dog. Karen gave me the lowest quote but ultimately it was cheaper to just buy a new set with better fabric. Even though I didn't not end up using them, Karen was extremely prompt and honest in her responses to me. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future when I want to reupholster pieces that mean a lot to me. Customer service was A+. read more

I had a couch custom built for my home 12-14 years ago. It is large, over 16 Feet long and deep and as such somewhat difficult to work with. We loved it, however as expected with 5 kids, it weathered over the years. After looking for a new couch, we realized we couldn't find anything we liked as much the one we had, so we started looking for upholsters. After interviewing several high end upholsters I stumbled upon Tony's Unique Upholstering online. What stuck out to me were all of the reviews; excellent, remarkable, kind, honest, artists were some of the comments I remember. Could someone really be that good? I didnt see any comments that weren't exceptional. Now that the job is done and our "better than new couch " is back home all I can say is those reviews were not accurate, as their service, responsiveness, quality and abilities were even better than expected. Best of all, they are just nice people! I Cannot recommend them enough and hope you use them as these are the type of people that deserve your business; they work hard, they care about their customer and they take pride in the exceptional work that they do. read more

I was looking for a upholstery store to re-upholster a chair that I found by the side of the road. I took it to Tony's with some fabric that I had purchased on ebay and was hoping for the best. I was amazed when I picked up the chair--it was GORGEOUS! They were professional and did an amazing job in repairing and re-upholstering my chair. I will definitely return there and highly recommend this business. read more

I needed my 20-year old sofa recovered. Karen at Tony's is great- she returns calls and emails promptly, answered any questions, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My sofa looks gorgeous, and they did a terrific job. The welting is straight, and the fabric is lined up perfectly at the seams. Turnaround was faster than expected, and the price was very fair. I recommend this business highly. read more

Tony and Karen are very professional. Karen took a lot of time helping us to pick material (especially as I wasn't sure what I really wanted). We received our two settees and armchair yesterday and they look amazing. I have six dining room chairs I would like to be reupholstered, so definitely will be using them again. read more
