I'm rating this place on service alone. I took two outdoor sofa seat cushions to this shop for replacement of the Sunbrella fabric covers. They agreed to do a rush job--something another upholstery shop could not do. When the business owner saw the cushions she told me that i did not need her services. Instead of taking my money, she explained to me how to wash and dry the covers so that i did not have to go through the expense of replacing them. I am so grateful for their unselfish honesty. I'm pretty sure i could have taken my cushions to 100 other shops and 100 of them would have taken my money and sewed new covers for me! I had a couch custom built for my home 12-14 years ago. It is large, over 16 Feet long and deep and as such somewhat difficult to work with. We loved it, however as expected with 5 kids, it weathered over the years. After looking for a new couch, we realized we couldn't find anything we liked as much the one we had, so we started looking for upholsters. After interviewing several high end upholsters I stumbled upon Tony's Unique Upholstering online. What stuck out to me were all of the reviews; excellent, remarkable, kind, honest, artists were some of the comments I remember. Could someone really be that good? I didnt see any comments that weren't exceptional. Now that the job is done and our "better than new couch " is back home all I can say is those reviews were not accurate, as their service, responsiveness, quality and abilities were even better than expected.
