To be fair, I went in pretty much knowing what I wanted after agonizing over Consumer Reports and online reviews. Waadt was the third appliance store I visited. Prices were consistent across the board. Most places didn't have demo electric ranges in store since it's low in demand, but they can order anything and seem to have direct contact with vendors. I wasn't in a hurry, so I placed my order with Bill on 2/13/26. He called me on 2/24/26 to let me know my appliances had arrived, process payment and we scheduled install for 2/26/26. I was given an install window of 9:30-11:30AM and they showed up around 10:00AM. The install guys were great. There was of course a problem, as my current range was hardwired to the electrical and there was no outlet for the new one. They said no problem, ran to the hardware store, bought the necessary supplies, installed the outlet and had me up and running. This is exactly why I didn't go with a big box store. Bill let me know his installers were equipped to handle any surprises and they were. Big box stores will only plug it in and leave. Any problems you're on your own to solve. Install prices, with the addition of an outlet, were reasonable. Would I use Waadt again? Definitely!

What stood out most is that they stepped in without any guarantee it would result in a sale--they simply wanted to help. That level of genuine care and professionalism is rare and deeply appreciated. I already wanted to purchase from them, but after this experience, I'm even more confident in that decision. Their service made a stressful situation so much easier, and it's the kind of experience that builds long-term loyalty. I absolutely plan to make future purchases with them. Go elsewhere! I hired Universal's service department to repair my Bosch convection microwave that I…read moreoriginally purchased from them. Over two months, their technician made five repair attempts (with several late and no-show appointments), replacing part after part, leaving the unit in worse condition each time. They finally left me with an unusable appliance and Angie the service manager tried to argue that it was in better shape than when they started. They did refund me for the repair attempts but disputed responsibility for the condition the appliance was left in. Bosch later informed me that Universal was not an authorized service company despite Universal's repeated assurance that they were. When I decided replacement was the best path forward, Universal was cooperative on pricing (their sales rep Ryan was fantastic). However, upon reviewing their purchase agreement, I learned that installation and removal are performed at the customer's sole risk, and the company disclaims responsibility for any damage caused during installation or removal, including damage to the appliance or the home. Management confirmed they stand by this policy. Given my experience with their service department and these installation terms, I chose to purchase the replacement elsewhere. I'm sharing this so others read their contract carefully before proceeding.

I purchased a bath tub for $4200 (marked down significantly because it was a floor model). Jessie,…read moreour salesperson, "hooked [us] up". (His words) I paid for delivery to my home. It showed up with the bubble wrap punctured and a scratch. We asked what could be done. Jessie said he'd look into it... he never got back to us. Come time to install the tub--we discover that it is missing the drain assembly. We call to let Jessie know--see if he still has it somewhere. He says it doesn't come with it. He says he'll see what he can do. I have to call another company and the manufacturer. Both the other company and the manufacture tell us that it absolutely comes with the drain assembly as part of the price. Jessie, not knowing that we know this, says he'll "hook [us] up"--acting like he is doing us a favor by giving us a drain assembly that was included in the purchase price. Waiting on the drain assembly delayed our project over a week then caused ripple effects of delays beyond that. We have emailed Jessie our feedback and were never given the courtesy of a response. You want knowledge about the products they are selling--don't count on it. You want a white glove customer service experience--don't count on it. Whether it was disorganization, a lack of care, I definitely was not made to feel like a valued customer.

I've spent…read moreright around 11K for sinks and faucets for 8 bathrooms, and I must say that the rep was very nice and very helpful and very knowledgeable, he did is part the best way Possible, but here is my problem with this place: they don't stock up anything, everything gets shipped from different locations so I started receiving at home bits and pieces of my orders over the next couple of weeks. The product did not arrive in retail packaging so it was really tough to know which was what. I had to take everything back to the showroom and my rep set down and wrote on each and every single piece what it was. Turned out that I've ended up ordering a few things wrong and needed to return them...Now, returning items is even a bigger headache..,you have to get a shipping label from them and start shipping different things back to their different locations. That was not acceptable to me so I returned the product back to the showroom and ask my rep to take care of the returns for me. It took over 3 weeks for me to receive the refunds which was pretty upsetting. In the meantime, I've checked with a different national distributor the prices on everything I've purchased and it turned out that I've paid about $2000 too much in comparison to what it would have cost me had I've purchased the same product from them. Needless to say: Very bad system, extremely over priced, and I will not be buying here again.
