Mario was awesome; reasonably priced, super efficient, very thorough. He had the Dyson repaired by the next day, and it was sparkling. Almost looked new. read more

He repaired my Dyson vacuum. Very reasonable price. And gave me the estimate in advance so I could decide if I wanted to repair (or replace). I will use again for maintenance and repairs for my vacuum. FYI: Another store recommended Tony to me (they only did commercial equipment). read more

I realized I did not have Tony's correct cell number and wrote him a not so good review. Tony just called me and explained he never received my text and I had not called. He is correct and I sincerely apologize to Tony and his staff. Tony is following up with me now to correct my toe kick vac issue. read more

These kind of shops rarely exist. Small little specialized shop that gives a personal care and attention. No process no red tape no put together a simple diagnosis on what the problem is and comes up with a solution and you pay a minimum service charge and you are done. I called spoke to Mario, brought the main vacuum to him he took care of the problem. That easy. Great job. read more

This is an OUTSTANDING central home vacuum repair company. Our residence was serviced by Jeremy and Mario and they were very professional and diagnosed our issues immediately. They repaired our issues and were up and going in one hour. Our central vacuum has increased suction power thanks to them for locating leaks in the system. Their service is excellent and we highly recommend them for installing, maintaining, and repairing central home vacuum systems. read more

Tony is great. His crew is great. Exceptionally friendly and extremely thorough. He has great prices and he really stands behind his work. He insisted that he would come and and everything in two day ... and he did. They did a three story house in a blink of an eye. Highly recommend them read more

I was looking for a specific vacuum cleaner replacement part. Unfortunately, Tony's didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but Mario took it upon himself to spend his time to find what I was looking for on Amazon. So even though I couldn't spend money at his business, Mario still helped me without question. Quick and Professional, which is indicative of a very well-run business. Thank you. read more

Very happy with using this business. Great response time and excellent follow up with service visit and instructions. We also like having a local business nearby so if there are any questions, they are easy to reach. Tony couldn't have been better to work with! read more

Tony was fantastic, professional, courteous. And definitely knew his stuff! So grateful to have my Central Vac functioning again! My in laws just had Tony put in a Central Vac in their condo. Great place to get your vacuum repaired. I have an old Eureka the Boss vacuum and got it snared on my daughter's back pack string. Thought I might've burned out the motor 'cause it was smoking like crazy. Brought it in and Mario was awesome. In 5 minutes he had replaced the broken belt and told me the motor was fine. He then gifted me a free internal filter and sent me on my way, for $10 bucks. Honest and efficient. read more

Finally a honest guy! After meeting with Mario and explaining that my central vacuum was not working, he explained to check a few things. After this was done, I called them and the owner Tony came over to look. He examined the vacuum and explained in detail why it needed to be replaced. He replaced it in 20 min and was on his way. Tony is a very nice and honest guy! I would recommend him to anyone I know! Fair prices and great customer service! read more

This was my first time in the store and I received the best service. I was told that my vacuum would be ready the next day but to my surprise, Mario called me a few hours later and told me that it was ready to be picked up. He left it super clean, looks and runs like a new vacuum . read more

My less than 3-year old vacuum wasn't working and I couldn't afford a new one. So my fiancé Jonathan took it into Tony and he figured out the problem (a filter I never knew existed and needed to be cleaned). Totally awesome, honest service and he charged a more than fair price. I definitely recommend this place!!! read more

Broken vac? Take it here! So, the ol' vacuum completely stopped working. I thought maybe it was done, but wanted to at least have it checked out before sending it off to the appliance recycling center in Glendale. For $20 and 5 whole minutes of my time these fellas unclogged the hose (and installed a new belt for free!) They were super friendly & helpful. 100% pleasant experience. I can't recommend these guys enough! read more

Mario fixed my very expensive hair dryer and saved me hundreds of dollars. He was professional, very skilled, and extremely nice. The cord on my hair dryer blew a fuse, and he was able to replace the damaged cord and restore it back to new. The best part, is that he did it in just a few hours, so I was able to drop it off and pick it up in the same afternoon. And my bill was only $20! I highly recommend him and will definitely return, if I need other appliance maintenance. read more

Excellent service! Serviced my vacuum cleaner and replaced with new longer cord and extensions. On time and very reliable company. Would highly recommend! Thank you! read more

I will bring my vacuum here if I ever have another issue...each and every time. They are so honest and truly care about their customers. My Dyson vacuum was not switching from the hose to the upright vacuum so I had to call around to try and get it repaired. I had called another vacuum repair store who asked for $125 to perform a servicing of my Dyson in order to identify the problem. I then called Tony's Central Vacuum who said they would give me a free estimate. He took the vacuum and asked for a couple of days to figure out what the problem was and see how much the replacement part would be. A couple of days later, he gave me a call and let me know that he wouldn't be able to obtain a replacement part but told me to come in and pick up my vacuum so he could show me what piece had broken. When I went in, he showed me the issue and recommended me to go to a different repair shop that would be able to assist. And how much did this cost me? ZERO! Talk about honesty and integrity. He has truly provided a service that is rare these days and has earned a customer that will spread the word about his wonderful business. To anyone who is reading this review, please don't hesitate to bring your vacuum here to be repaired. He has 100% earned my trust! read more

** BUYER BEWARE - RIPOFF ARTIST** Get this: We have a central vacuuming system in our house. Tony Banos came to repair something in our system in 2009 and seemed fair and competent, so I kept his card. This time we had a problem with the vacuum head. He came over, said he could get it functional but slow, and suggested instead that we replace it. He had a new one in his truck and wanted to sell it to me for $275. Part of his pitch was that he wasn't going to charge me $60 to "make a house call" (never mind that he advertises free estimates) and he was going to be nice enough to throw in a vacuum bag. It seemed costly so I asked if he could do better on the price. Nope. He seemed offended and said no. Like an idiot, I wrote him a check and took the replacement part, but I had a bad feeling. I went inside, looked up the exact part number on line. It sells for $99 bucks, with free shipping. The part is a "Turbocat 8695-BG." IYou can see for yourself right here: http://www.centralvacuumstores.com/Central-Vacuum/Vacuflo/Powerheads/Turbo-Cat-Powerhead-Black-8695-BG.php I contacted Tony to tell him I knew he had ripped us off and overcharged by nearly 200%. Didn't hear back from him. Enjoy our extra $175, Tony. You lost one customer, and hopefully others who read this. There are reputable, trustworthy vacuum businesses out there - this is NOT one of them. PS: Tony just responded to my message and said I can use the extra $175 he charged me as a "store credit." In other words, I'll rip you off, mark things up an extra 200% but then you can apply that towards buying more needless stuff at my shop. read more

IF YOU OWN A CENTRAL VACUUM BEWARE -- TONY IS A CROOK -- We had a minor problem with our functional central vacuum and called Tony for repair -- he was very aggressive about coming to our house, I initially said yes and then cancelled but he still showed up and I told him I did not want to get the repair, but he insisted said he would not charge much for a quick repair. He was very rushed and basically begged to be let in...he whirled in and spent less than 5 minutes on our device, then charged $150 for a new circuit board (which costs $75-100), and then $39.99 for vacuum bags which cost $14.99 at most, along with $50 for labor. I assume that because central vacuums only need maintenance every 5-10 years, Tony assumes he can fleece folks who have them, and uses a lot of rapid-fire, slick, greasy sales talk to make his pitch. I'm reporting him to the BBB. KEEP YOUR MONEY AND BEWARE. read more

I left my vacuum for two month they say waiting for the parts, I visit two time got same answer, finally when I want to pickup they never repair, plus they break couple thing . very bad services non responsible people. read more

Tony was able to work with me to give me a price that made it worth it to keep and repair my great but old high end vacuum.

I brought in my Miele canister vacuum after learning from George's on Pico that I had to replace the entire cord winder. Upon a brief inspection, Mario @ Tony's figured out that it was just the cord and therefore he only had to order a new cord and reattach it. He saved me about $150 which I am truly grateful for. And the store is very clean (unlike George's). This family run business was a pleasure to do business with and I will forever keep them in my address book! read more

I had to get my sewing machine completely re-serviced and decided to take it to Tony. This place was great. Tony and rest of the guys there were very friendly and trustworthy. The only small downfall was that they said it would be ready in 2-3 days but it ended up taking a full week. Luckily I didn't need it urgently so it didn't bother me at all. read more

We have a brand new house with a complicated building design. Knowing this we interviewed several companies as we knew we wanted the hide a hose system. Tony was the only one who said he could do it and had the confidence and skill set to deliver. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the system. When we had an issue (not his fault) he drove over a loaner vacuum and made us a priority and got everything working smoothly again. We love our system. It's super easy to vacuum a large home with the vacuum hose hidden in the wall of each floor of our house. No lugging heavy equipment around. It's simple and easy and works great. He has integrity and an excellent work ethic. He gives out his cell number and is always reachable. Give him a call- you will be thrilled you did. read more

Went to Tony's vacuum on a recommendation from another Vacuum store that did not repair LG Vacuums. Tony listened when I called and told me there would be no charge to look at the vacuum. The problem was that It got very hot when vacuuming and then shut off. It needed a cooling off period. He looked at them vacuum, actually cleaned all the parts and said that it needed a new filter, which I could get on line. However, as we ran the vacuum, it just ran too hot. Instead of replacing the filter, he said to use it until it goes or buy another, with a bag, not bagless as the motors clog too easily. His charge, $10.00. He was fair and explained all he did. read more

Tony came the same day I called to service and replace parts for my central vacuum. He cleaned the central vacuum but showed me that the motor did not need to be serviced, showing an honesty that is so rarely seen. He had all the parts I needed on hand and took care of everything courteously and efficiently. When I asked about 2 hose socks, something I had never mentioned before, he found he had only 1 on hand. He immediately arranged for someone to meet him nearby with the additional sock, and returned within 30 minutes to install it. Truly fantastic service - I cannot recommend him enough! read more

Took my vacuum today and was honest about telling me that it just needs to be cleaned..serviced it for just 5 mins..Honest and fast service

I went to to Tony's based on its Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did! It is rare to find a business that is honest, gets the job done, and does not try to up-sell you. Both Tony and Mario were extremely knowledgeable about what they do. Mario showed me what the problem was as he was fixing it! I actually learned about about my vacuum cleaner while I was there. Excellent service, and wonderful experience! read more

FANTASTIC. Our Miele canister vacuum stopped sucking in. I took it to Tony and he fixed it in 1 minute. It is great to find an honest repairman who knows what he is doing!! FANTASTIC!! read more

This place has fantastic customer service and knowledgable staff. I called looking for a specialty part I needed for a Bissell carpet cleaner and Mario was very patient with me and helped me figure out exactly what I needed. On top of that it was a few minutes until closing and he said he'd keep the store open and wait for me to arrive. And this was only a $5 part so he clearly wasn't staying open to make the money. He was just giving great customer service. It was a Saturday and he wouldn't be open again until Monday, and I really needed the part for the weekend and he helped me out. I now know where to bring my vaccuum that hasn't been working properly. Thank you so much! Be back soon with my Dyson. read more
