Note that the closest mall entrance is the one by the food court/target. This is a large space with dozens of artists exhibited. There are all kinds of media-paintings, sculpture, photography, collage, and more paintings along with slightly more usable stuff (crafts?) like linens, soaps, cards and all sorts of not easy to describe creative art objects. Thankfully this does not include a banana duct taped to the wall. Yet. As this spot is staffed by volunteers - this is some kind of not for profit collective-the service is of the wander around and get checked up on periodically model. The staff do know a lot about the artists, which is handy but not so much about art. Highly efficient at running the register which is really what you want in retail staff anyway. Anywhoo this is an excellent spot to drop in and browse. The stock is always rotating-but if you can't find what you saw last week, they have the ability to contact the artist directly which can be very useful. Due to the sheer variety of art it's easy to always find that one thing you didn't know you need until you see it. Pricing is all over the map. Some of the redwood furniture comes in at several thousand each but cards and soap can be had for a few bucks. I'm a big fan of the soap. Got a couple of bars of black soap for less then ten bucks. All in all it's a worthy stop for those interested in art, local shopping, gifts, or if you just have some time to kill.

As I am typing this review, I am being reminded that summer is practically over. I hate summer and…read moreI hate hot weather, but it was really nice to not have to drive Gavin to and from school and dealing w/ his football. We took a random Friday off just to have lunch in Capitola. We were early and was undecided on where to eat, so we walked around and landed in this cute gem of local boutique. I help pledge/donate to help dogs/puppies get pulled from the euthanasia list, but I cannot foster and adopt dogs/puppies now. My schedule, my finances, and overall place of living does not allow it, so I put 110% of my effort and free time into donating, volunteering, and fostering cats/kittens. I have fostered 22 kittens/cats. I have Adam (own rescue efforts), Alfred, and Myla that's not included in the total yet. So I'm basically crazy cat lady, so when finding this pair of earrings was fate that I knew I had to purchase even though I did not think I would be purchasing anything because we were just exploring to kill time before the restaurant opens. I'm so glad we came in. Service was warm and prices are fair - come support your local shops! I used to live less than a mile away from here... I do miss living up here.

So happy to come across this spot spontaneously. If you like jewelry and art, come here. Josie is…read moreso kind and speaks highly of all the artists in the shop. Every piece is uniquely made and fairly priced; I can't emphasize this enough. We left happy with every purchase and looking forward to coming back in the future.
