Tomorrow World is, hands down one of my favorite music festivals. Incredible vibe throughout Dreamville and the festival itself. If you are staying in Dreamville, make sure to bring the right camping supplies. Things like a table to eat/drink on and a canopy for shade and chairs for those rough mornings are essential to maximize your experience! Dreamville can be quite intense but definitely worth it. Make sure that every one of your friends camps at least for their first trip to Tomorrow World. Friends don't let friends stay at hotels!!! A lot of walking involved heading from stage to stage but that's part of this festivals charm. I have been twice now and will definitely be attending next year as well. Perhaps one day I'll have the opportunity to visit Boom for Tomorrow Land but Tomorrow World will forever hold a special place in my heart!

As a frequent attendee of music festivals and being in the music scene for years ( I won't date myself,) I'd say based on this year's experience -- avoid. All things have a silver lining-- let's start with the positive: Music -- the line up was great. Wonderful variation between bass music, deep house, mainstream, trance and everything in between. My fan favorites were Andy C ( that ended up being canceled), Bassnectar ( which was a shit show due to choice of stage), Paul Van Dyk, The Magician, Porter ( also technical issues), Claptone. The venue / production is on point. Mainstage is beautifully constructed, the water had a bunch of LED lilypads, shooting water fountains and eye-candy all around. The portapotties were no better, no worse than any other fests I've been to so they stand neutral ground. That.. ends the good The unfortunate: 1) Greed. Festivals are expensive as it is. Now they're riding the d-train of charging you for " Pearls" so you think oh hey, a $6 burrito, that's so nice of them! Come to convert into USD you find you are spending $13.50 on a burrito. It's not just the price, it's the principle. It's the principle that you're going into this saying, yes you're a greedy business that wants to make things tricky, so the consumer spends more. So that you know your customers have to do math ( while probably being drunk) to spend pearls on your already overpriced products. 2) Rain - unprepared. No, we don't blame you for rainfall -- but we do blame you for NOT BEING PREPARED. You're not the first festival to hit rain -- but you next to Hudson may be the worst handled I've ever seen, and Tomorrowworld handled this much worse than Hudson -- never thought I'd see a day worse than Mudson. The rain was not surprising. On my google app it showed possible rain Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday up until 6pm -- you can't tell me this was not predictable or unavoidable. You could have laid out hay days before, or hey better yet WOOD? Don't tell me you can't afford that when we know how many attendees attend, how much ticket prices are, and we can crunch numbers -- most of us anyway. A lot of your problems were avoidable, and the fact that the festival promoters may go bankrupt, I do not feel sorry for you. In no case is it acceptable that you leave 100s of festival attendees abandoned -- without food, shelter or a shuttle to get somewhere with cell reception for HELP. You left people walking 5 to 10 miles with pounds of weight to carry ( as it is a camping festival) -- that's not even humane. 3) Will-call /other ticket issues: A JOKE. Tomorroworld - if this isn't your fault -- USE ANOTHER TICKET VENDOR. We emailed months prior to knowing we were moving and requested an address change -- after playing email and phone tag for a few days we finally got a response that due to security reasons they could not change the address -- that's fine. However I have multiple friends that DID successfully change address, so you see my anger with inconsistency. ON TOP OF THAT, 6 days before the festival we received an email " Although you had requested will-call, we have shipped out your ticket anyway...." WHAT? Idiocracy at its best. Will-call line was also a joke. A couple people attempting to help, every single person seemed to have an issue and could not pull up or verify tickets. Get your life together, it's a freaking joke. You don't pay $300+ to put up with BS like that. If this is how the EDM bubble bursts, GOOD. Because we're done dealing with the scene these days and all the bs that comes with it.

TomorrowWorld is one of the best experiences that I have had thus far! Although Dreamville is a bit intimidating with the whole camping experience, it's definitely worth the experience. In fact, I believe whole heartedly that it adds to the experience. TomorrowWorld creates an outdoor experience with trails leading from stage to stage. The stages and music provide an experience of a life time! I met amazing people from all over the world and created friendships with such kind souls. Words can't express the amazing vibes and energies you feel once you step foot into the grounds of TomorrowWorld. Until next year!

This was definitely the best festival I've ever attended. It's put together and run so well. Lines to use the bathrooms were only consisted of four to five people max... WHAT?! Saturday was my least favorite though since it was so crowded - not fun for someone who's only five feet short. The music was unbelievable. I'm so glad TomorrowWorld has a contract with GA for 10 years. I have eight more chances to go wild! I went with my baby sister, Mary Anne. She's such a great sport and one of my favorite activity/travel buddies. I'm glad I was able to experience it with her. Mikey came along, too. We lost him so many times. Poor guy. He was so great about it. Another awesome companion. Highlights: Day One: I lost both Mikey and Mary Anne. No phone. I snuck into Dreamville and slept over night. Day Two: Playing fairy dust and showing people with glitter. Day Three: Seeing random friends and again, showering them with glitter wether they volunteered or not. I wish I took more photos, but we were too busy frolicking and prancing around the grounds.

Tomorrowworld is the first US music festival hosted by ID&T. There was also camping next to the festival called Dreamville. Arriving early sucked though. You get placed at the outer ends of the camping grounds and they slowly move a rope 10 feet at a time til spots are alotted. Where we parked, we had a mile trek to the security gates. There we waited 2 hours for security to go through all our stuff. There were a few police dogs around. There were lots of bugs. You could shower for 2 tokens and the water pressure was pretty horrible. The porta potties were cleaned regularly so that helped. The food was expensive and not that good. Nothing gourmet sold. The security was really lax. The festival was amazing. All the stages were nice and had fires and fireworks. I can't wait for next year!

Talk about fierce withdrawals! Its been over two weeks and I still find myself dancing to any scrap of music I can. Sure, parking sucked. As did the mile long walk to camp..but once arriving in dreamville..I found home. Our camp neighbors will forever be friends. The music was amazing..the stages were out of this world! Even weeks later, I can't find the words to describe how it made me feel. I was without stress and worry. I was child like again...enjoy the hell out of life. I'll be back!!!

Worst event I've ever been to.. My life and those who rode up with me were very much in danger being forced to walk 9 miles to the parking site since they "suspended transportation" they left all ADA people (disabled) stranded and stuck to fend for themselves in tomorrow world 2015.. I personally had to walk 9 miles in the cold rain to my vehicle. Absolute worst event ever I will never ever attend any ID&T or tomorrow world festival ever again.. I've canceled my tomorrow land Belgium trip already because i can only imagine how bad this could be in a foreign country. Lastly ; I had vip locker rentals with my personal property in the locker and they refuse to allow anyone in on day 3 due to the cancellation of day 3! They are basically saying we're not letting you get your stuff... Tuff no entry. Worst ever no happiness here just a bag of mud and pain. WORST WORST EVER..

    Lilia U.

Truly amazeballs! Worth every penny! You will be tired by the end of the night!! The walk to and from the parking lot is literally about half a mile to a mile long, no joke! Lol so make sure you wear comfortable shoes!!

Cost was close to $800 for 2 people + lunch/dinner expense. It was probably a 3.5-4 star experience. Spa: Was my favorite part. Services and staff were great and everyone was friendly. I got the massage, body scrub and reflexology. Although I found the spa a bit cramped. On Saturday the waiting area was crowded. Who wants to sit should shoulder to shoulder in a robe. They really need a larger reception area and waiting area to make it more serene. In the waiting area the receptionist sits at a tiny checkin table. She should be at a reception booth in my opinion. Inn: Think bed and breakfast. Nothing fancy but clean and nice. Not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast: Was great. You can select from eggs, omlet, French toast and they also had fruit and fresh juices Tea time: Tea time is 4-5p at the farmhouse restaurant. It leaves much to be desired. As another reviewer mentioned it is basically frozen appetizers and potato chips. You know how Costco sells that frozen mini quiches? Yup that's it. It would be sooooo easy to improve upon this! Overall serenbe is a cool place. It's definitely like no place I have been before. Lots of walking and hiking and nature. But they can easily improve upon the experience. It's a high price point and some improvements would certainly help. Add some street lights! The parking lots are so dark you can't see your own two feet. It's dangerous. A fridge in each room would be cool too. More signage. It's hard to your way if you are new to the area.

Serenbe Playhouse - THE SLEEPY HOLLOW EXPERIENCE

For years, we've wanted to see The Sleepy Hollow Experience at Serenbe Playhouse, but haven't been…read moreable to make it out for one reason or another. One reason is because this show has been sold out for six seasons straight. You have to plan ahead. After finally attending The Sleepy Hollow Experience this past weekend, I can see why it consistently sells out. It's good! We bought our tickets a little over two months in advance. My friend purchased the tickets for us and got us a great deal that worked out to $31 per person after any taxes and fees. Tickets are regularly $50 per adult, $45 per student/senior, and $60 per VIP (not sure what that includes). In 2019, The Sleepy Hollow Experience is playing September 27th through November 3rd. Shows occur Wednesday through Sunday nights. There's a family-friendly daytime version that takes place at 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The show is rated "PG" and includes "light sexual innuendo and a handful of scares." The scares are jump scares. Serenbe Playhouse is an outdoor, immersive theater. You walk around a big set, in nature, with the actors and even have opportunities to interact with them. The concept is neat and a lot of fun. It's different and can be a lot more interesting than your typical theater experience where you just sit and watch a performance play out on stage. At The Sleepy Hollow Experience, we watched most of the acts while standing. One act did have chairs and benches for sitting. Shows go on in the rain, so come prepared. Pay attention to the weather forecast and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring layers if needed. You'll be outside the entire time, standing on dirt, clay, grass, gravel, dead leaves, branches, etc. If conditions are wet, it can get muddy. For night shows, consider bringing a flashlight or using the light on your phone to help you get around. Restrooms consist of a row of porta-potties. Parking (free) changes for each production so be sure to follow the instructions on Serenbe Playhouse's website, specific to the show you're attending. http://www.serenbeplayhouse.com/plan-your-visit/directions-and-parking At The Sleepy Hollow Experience, there were two bars located on-site: (1) a smaller bar near the parking lot and porta-potties and (2) a larger bar near the production with lawn games like corn hole and ring toss. Like the rest of Serenbe Playhouse's structures, the bars have a natural, rustic look to them (sort of one with nature) and are nicely-decorated with string lighting. The larger bar has limited seating (e.g. picnic table). We purchased glasses of hot apple cider in Serenbe Playhouse clear souvenir tumblers ($10 each). We went to the Friday night late show at 10:30pm. It ended promptly, close to midnight, and included an intermission. During intermission, we could take pictures with the cast and even play corn hole with one of them. That was cool. In light traffic, it takes about 35-40 minutes to get to Serenbe Playhouse from Atlanta. I would allow 45 minutes to an hour if you are coming from the north side of Atlanta and even more if you're coming from the northern suburbs. You will have to drive onto bare, bumpy ground to park, so keep that in mind. Also, you will be out in a remote location so cell service may be spotty (in our experience, AT&T had better signal here than T-Mobile). As for the actual Sleepy Hollow Experience production itself, it was terrific. We all really enjoyed it. It was a high-quality production and by that I'm referring to the acting, costumes, music, sound, and lighting. These are true professionals and they know what they're doing. The actors not only acted well, but they played musical instruments (e.g. accordion, guitar, violin) and sang well too. This was a truly talented and entertaining group of individuals. The Sleepy Hollow Experience was expectedly eerie, but it had plenty of moments of levity and humor too. It was a lot of fun. We moved from place to place on the set with Serenbe Playhouse staff/volunteers to help guide, and sometimes scare, us. The ratio of actors to audience was 5 to about 90. The Headless Horseman exists and we saw him, multiple times, from far away and up close. It was awesome. Yes, they use a real horse and real fire. As this is an outdoor night show during the Halloween season, the entire setting is literally very dark. Only the stages and set pieces are professionally lit. The pathways and rest of the outdoor space are lit with torches and ambient/natural light. Through this production, my eyes have been opened to the greatness of Serenbe Playhouse. I wouldn't mind returning to see a different show in the future. TL;DR - Go see The Sleepy Hollow Experience at Serenbe Playhouse. It's an excellent production and a very fun experience. There's a reason why it's on American Theatre Magazine's list of "Top Five Halloween Plays in the Country" and is regularly sold out, year after year. No question, it's worth the drive from Atlanta.

We came for the Sleepy Hollow Experience with some friends and also (on a separate occasion in the…read moresame season) brought our toddler to see the Jungle Book. Both productions were phenomenal. The afternoon weekend performance of the Jungle Book we caught with the toddler was on an unfortunately hot day. The playhouse is outdoors, with outdoor, non-covered (read no shade) seating. We ended up sitting on a jacket we found in the back of the car on the floor in the sort of shade of a tree to get out of the sun. Even with the heat, the performance was great! The actors didn't let the heat bother them, and were at 100%. Our kiddo LOVED it and spent the rest of the day singing the songs. Be aware, you are pretty much parking on a dirt road next to some trees and there is some walking (non-paved trails) to get to the 'playhouse' itself. There is a small kiosk selling snacks, beer, and drinks. The evening performance of the Sleepy Hollow Experience was awesome. There is quite a bit of walking and the entire performance is outdoors, so dress appropriately. We were VERY lucky the evening of our performance was a perfect crisp bright fall night, with absolutely no rain. If there is rain before your show, the roads and floor would likely be pretty muddy. I was very very impressed with the acting and the LIVE horse (so well behaved!!). Again keep in mind you will be driving and walking on dirt/non-paved roads so prepare accordingly. Serenbe is a bit of a drive from Atlanta, but totally worth the experience. Also consider spending the weekend at the farmhouse, or getting an AirBnB etc in the area. The farm itself is adorable with LOTS to do.

They sell specialty jams and jellies, both savory and sweet. There was a generous amount of samples available and I went in! Although I tasted Blackberry, Blueberry, Pecan Pie and Vidalia Onion, I just kept coming back to that lovely Peach, Pecan jam that reflected each element in every single bite. The peach was popping and that pecan taste clearly showed up. It was delicious without being heavy or overly sweet. When I opened up the jam to put it on my toast, I noticed the pecan halves on the very top. So that's why the secondary flavor was popping! Nice touch and I love the details! This jam ws light and delicious so I go in for another serving and this time I encounter a piece of fruit. WHAT? It was so unexpected because the flavor was so rich that I did not need the actual fruit but what an unexpected bonus!. There was not one item that I tasted that wasn't delicious. I just happened to pick my favorite. Although, I really wanted to have this in a traditional manner, I would think that this would go well with roasted lamb, baked chicken or other savory dishes. I'm excited to start playing around with the possibilities. Definitely worth five stars! ***So I'm standing at the table when this guy comes up looking for grape jelly. He says that he is just a simple country guy and apparently doesn't realize that they guy who makes these items is a simple country guy as well. I advise him to break out of his routine and get the blueberry jam. I'm thinking that it is the same color as grape so he should be okay. I don't know because if you are still eating weak commercial jelly instead of hearty jam, you might not be ready for this product. These specialty jams are for those people who know who they are and are ready to take it to the next level. So ask yourself: Can I handle this? Am I ready to take it to the next level?. It is wayyyyy better than EDC and I've been going to these events since 2008 (god I'm old...) and I lived in SoCal for 6 of those years, so you know I've been to quite a few. It sucked for people who didn't camp here because I guess the parking lot and bus trams were a mess due to weather, but this review is based on my personal experience staying in the easy tents at the event. Yes, it was muddy and rainy, but the event had no control over that. They did their best to sprinkle rocks, grass/hay and place wooden planks and plastic crates everywhere to remedy this. They had the fanciest porter potties I've ever seen! Lines weren't too bad in the easy tent area, but I saw how horrendous it was in the bring-your-own tent area. You get what you pay for I guess. The showers were cold and pretty much no hot water, but hey-- its camping! What do you expect?! The vibe from everyone was the best I've ever experienced. Everyone was friendly, fun-loving and just down to have a good time. It was fun meeting people from different parts of the world. The food prices were as expected for festivals. The venue itself I enjoyed a lot. The decorations and stages were beautiful. The bathroom situation was also super clean and fast! Never ran out of toilet paper and there was always a person there cleaning. They were even happy to be there and were even dancing around with the toilet paper rolls and mops (lol). They had the best DJs and best staff! Someone at the Q-Dance stage was so on one that they climbed the decor and high fived the DJ and then climbed back down. The guards didn't stop him cuz he wasn't going to harm himself (barely a fall due to the design of the decor) or anyone else and the DJ thought it was funny. That just gives you an idea of how positive the vibes were. I definitely recommend attending this event and getting the easy tents! It is all set up for you and ready to go. It even comes with a lock to keep your stuff safe.

EL OH EL. I haven't given a 1star review until now…read more So the music sets were fun and the bathrooms were as good as they could get (flushable portapotties), BUT NOTHING COULD MAKE THE ORDEAL OF GOING HOME WORTH IT. Yes it was raining, and yes it was muddy, but TomorrowWorld didn't have a contingency plan for the clusterf*** that ensued when everybody was trying to leave the festival?!?! Basically the muddy parking areas caused onsite parking to be unavailable which resulted in people parking offsite, taking ubers, or shuttles to the drop off location. All these avenues of transportation needed shuttles to pick people up and take them to the actual TomorrowWorld grounds. So obviously, people needed these shuttles to take them back to the offsite/pickup areas, BUT THEY BLOCKED THE ROADS so literally there was standstill traffic due to roadblocks. The shuttles weren't going anywhere and there definitely weren't enough ubers. They stopped letting ubers even come near the pick up location. My friends and I waited in line for a shuttle from the grounds area which never came so we walked from there to the pick up location (3 miles??) and waited in line for an uber that never came so we walked down the dark road for another couple miles and I literally had to stick my hand out to try and hail an uber. Thankfully we flagged one down and our driver WAS THE BEST and didn't try to extort us for more money (the ride ended up being like maybe $80?) and took us to midtown. Note, we left Hardwell at 12:40am and didn't get home until 5am. MY BODY HURTS SO MUCH and I'm currently icing my feet. What kind of international event doesn't even have a contingency plan!??!?! Never coming back again.

Holiday Road - The start of Holiday Road Trail.

In late November, we went to Holiday Road, a very good static Christmas presentation of lights and…read moredisplays at Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn that I thought was the best Christmas lights display in the Atlanta area. We scored free tickets through Yelp, so I have no idea how much the tickets would've cost. I used Waze to get there, and was able to get to the event easily. I thought this was a well organized event. There were certainly a lot of employees available up to the point of where customers walk through and past the light displays. Going through the huge grassy field was confusing at first, because I wasn't sure where I was supposed to drive, but employees were well spaced out, guiding me to where I was to go. Parking was entirely on the grass, and we walked a very short distance to the entrance, where I gave my name, the number of people attending, and our assigned time slot. After going through the Security checkpoint, we walked up to the big merchanidise tent where lots of Christmas-centric items were being sold. I didn't see anything I was interested in. We walked into a big field area that had displays spread throughout that customers could pose at or on, and there were food trucks selling food, an outdoor bar, and tables where people could sit and enjoy their food and drinks, and wait until it was time for them to start their trek through the Christmas displays. At our assigned time, we went to the start of the Holiday Road Trail with no more than 40 other people. Once our group was let in, we could go along the trail at our own paces. The trail was actually through big open fields, and definitely was for people who are able to walk because customers had to walk on dirt, gravel, grass and pavement at any given time. R and I decided to go at a slower pace, which worked to our advantage because we were able to take pictures without random people in them. We walked past village displays made to look like buildings decorated with Christmas lights, then past tall light displays that can be bought at retail stores. The farther along the trail that we walked, and the more I looked at the different displays, the more I was getting into the Christmas spirit, and I felt a lot happier by the time we got to the end. For those who walked about halfway through the trail and were still not having a good time, there was another outdoor bar to imbibe a much needed alcoholic attitude adjuster. I thought it was great that there were Nativity, Kwanzaa and Menorah displays toward the end of the trail. Since we came early in Holiday Road's run, it wasn't that crowded, so I thought that the assigned time slots were unnecessary. We took it slow, and we walked the entire trail, stopping frequently to take pics, and it took us less than 45 minutes to walk.

This is a great experience for families of all sizes and of all ages! The drive from Atlanta to Fairbun is a little bit of a haul, but is well worth it. Make sure you have the right address from the website plugged in - we put in the farm name into our GPS and ended up a few miles away from the entrance. It can be a bit hard to find in the dark, just a word of caution. There is a winding entrance into the farm, and PLENTY of parking. There were attendants posted along the route to direct you where to go and park. Once we were parked, we made our way through the entrance and were greeted by the "gift shop." This did seem a bit hokey but I saw several families by illuminated necklaces that were cute - we thought about getting our dog one of the stuffed animals but they were $20 which seemed steep. Be prepared that the facilities here are porta potties - not much else for them to do here since the exhibit is set up on a farm, but just a word to the wise. We stopped off at the bar to get a drink to warm up - we both got the spiked hot chocolate which was tasty, but definitely overpriced. We would have gotten a second drink each but did not feel like spending more than the ticket price for drinks. My recommendation would be to skip the bar altogether. There were several food trucks stationed before the walking entrance to the lights, but we opted to wait and have dinner after the show, because the food did seem expensive for the offerings. The lights and displays themselves were beautiful - so many great photo opportunities, we even put one of our pictures on our Christmas card this year! We loved working our way through the show and because of the way the tickets are set up, the trail was not crowded and we had plenty of chances to stop and take in the lights and get pictures with just us in them! The entire experience took just over an hour - which was more than enough because it was freezing the night we went! Make sure to check the weather and bundle up if it's cold! This was a great way to kick off the holiday season!
