Bought the most expensive car wash. Car was dirty when done with the wash so they ran it back through and slowed down the wash the second time. It was still dirty so the attendant gave me some towels so I could scrub the dirt spots. This was not a vehicle that was super dirty to begin with. Waste of money and time. read more

Been here 4 times and young staff have always been very friendly and informative, management has done their job. Came through on a day that power was out and Aubrey took care with a sorry and a coupla of complementary washes for the next time. This is my local Tommy's in Venice. I use this facility atleast twice a week with a membership and I couldn't be happier. It's a completely automated wash and it's about as good as they get without hand detailing. Bang for the buck you can't go wrong if you wash your vehicle frequently with one of the membership options. I have never had an issue with the facility or vacuums not being functional. read more

I've had excellent results - great washes and good vacuums & floor mat cleaning machines. I did have one issue, on my 12 year old car. The sunroof front edge was pushed down 1/2" by the roof washing brush and it caused very minor water leakage. When I went to repair it, it was obvious the sun roof fasteners had loosened. I guess you expect issues at the 12 year mark! Easy fix, no more leakage. Not the fault of Tommy's. (Unless when the car was built, a guy named Tommy installed the fasteners!!!) read more

After reading all the negative reviews I'm canceling my membership. When I drive through there wash I always have soap on my vehicle and I have to go home and rinse again. They definitely lowered the water pressure during the wash and Rinse cycles !! read more

I have a 4 number Tag plate 1867 and say they can't read it. The head guy came to my window and said can't read it ... new plate and not marked in any way. I get totally ticked off because 4 or 5 cars go before me. Now they canceled my washes because i got on their case. Friendly service, at their best! If I could assign a ZERO, I would. The fact that they do not value their clients enough to make sure the interior is vacuumed and dusted ( for almost $40!!!!!) simply doesn't make sense. Why would I spend an ENORMOUS amount of money to get a half done car wash. Definitely will not recommend this business to ANYONE!!!! Have to wonder if the older Florida population will like going somewhere, where the service is just awful. read more

Just a heads up to everyone if you use Tommy's Car Wash off of 41 across from Lowes in Venice FL, inspect your car for damage across the bottom from the tire shiner at the end of it. I've watched it bounce off of cars in front of me. My car has suffered multiple dents in the bottom rockers on both sides. They will not even try to fix the damage or respond. I will never use this car wash ever again. I even went and filed a report and not even a returned phone call. Very bad business. My car is a well taken care of 2018 Malibu. read more

I was trying them for the first time and got the month trial. I was told by the person at the window "we also have mat washers...". I had a two week old 2023 Toyota Tundra with factory mats. When I washed the mats, one tore. I filed a claim and was told their washer is only for carpet mats. Claim was denied. After doing some research, I found lots of similar reports where they do not stand behind their product and do not pay for damages caused by their systems. read more

I was totally satisfied with a membership to Tommy's until I got some paint damage to my wife's vehicle. My issue was not that the damage happened because it's a machine car wash and that can happen but the customer support after the fact has been horrendous. This happened last December of 2022. As soon as I got home and saw the damage I called immediately, sent them pictures, and followed up by going to the location to give them my information and let them see the damage. They made a claim and had me take the vehicle to go get a quote. All was smooth and standard. After I got the quote for the repair ($500) and gave it to them, I was told they just needed confirmation from the corporate office and I would be able to go ahead and schedule the repair. At this time the manager was a gentleman named Robert...I never heard back from them. I called and called and called. After a couple of months, I got a hold of a new manager named Tai. Tai said he would look into the situation for me. I never got a call back even once. Every time I would get a hold of him to discuss the situation, he was always very kind and courteous but would always say I'll look into it today and call you back tomorrow or later today and never anything. I finally took the vehicle to the repair shop because the damage is getting worse and looks ugly and I'm sick of looking at it. They also said they would reach out to Tommy's, which they did and Tommy's told them they don't have any information on the situation. So after patiently waiting for them to handle the situation for 10 MONTHS, they are now saying sorry we can't find your case so their nothing he can do and it's above his decision-making ability. I'm stuck with a $500 paint repair bill. So incredibly frustrating! read more

I visited this car wash yesterday. The wash was good, but when I tried to vacuum my car out the suction was pitiful. I purposefully stopped there so that I could get my whole car clean. I had recently been to the beach ( last weekend) and wanted to clean the sand out of my car. I tried for fifteen minutes to vacuum and very little sand was picked up. I gave up, went home and used my wet and vac. The suction difference was amazing. read more

I am over all happy with this carwash. A couple of improvements could be made. I am a Tommy Club member but can't use the app lanes because of my handicap license plate. Not a big deal right now but this winter it sure could be. My other issue is it doesn't do a real good job of drying the cars off. read more
