The love bugs are everywhere here in SW Florida. We usually use Eager Beaver brushless car wash. The wait time wasn't bad and after my car went through the wash, Jannell was there with two cloths in her hands doing a great job of drying off my car. She took the time to get any remaining love bugs off my vehicle. I tipped her and told her that her hard work was appreciated. She told me she's been working there for 18 years! there was guy that took that payment and after we paid him $20 he accused us of not paying. we went into the office to look at the cameras and it showed that we paid but the funny thing is that he put the money in his pocket. So even after we all saw the evidence that we had paid, he still demanded that we didn't pay him. First, the area you have to walk through (the bay where they vacuum the cars) is full of soap, water and chemicals and is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The manager, Bob, is an absolute crazy, screaming maniac. He yelled and screamed at the top of his lungs at his employees. The assistant manager, Janelle, was an absolute delight. When I got into my car to leave, it wouldn't start. The manager, Bob, came over and was just awful the way he spoke to me and even worse to his employees. What a disgrace. A very vile man with no manners and certainly no people skills. I will post every review on every sight I can. Buyer beware, unless you enjoy being berated and watching a crazy man yell at his employees. There are a ton of car washes in the area, so I have plenty of others to choose from. So I'll begin by saying I have tried this car wash out a few times over the course of several years and over all I am just not thrilled with the quality of service. I have given them a few tries over the years to see if perhaps it was just a fluke day off but unfortunately I have to say the level of service has always been subpar. Details are always missed. the work is sloppy in my opinion. if I were to be completely honest at The cost of being overly time efficient they miss out on details that should not be over seen. Although the price is not bad it seems over priced when details are missed. I'm not getting what I actually should paid for. I rather wash and vacuum my own car For 25 bucks. If you are curious I have gone to these people for all levels of service over the years. even their priciest detail services and never rally ever been wowed by their service. in the past I have even had a terrible interaction with their manager. I am not sure if it's the same manager now or If there is new management in place. I would not recommend this place if you are the type of person that notices details. I love the fact that they cleaned the inside of the car the outside my car was spotless

I spent an extra $55 to have the seats cleaned on top of the $25 I paid to get my car cleaned inside and out. Unfortunately, it was clear they hadn't done a thorough job--seats seemed sprayed with air freshener rather than properly cleaned, the trunk wasn't touched despite my request, and the passenger side was ignored. I brought it back to have it fixed, but it still fell far short of what I would expect for an $80 service. The worker said it would take an hour and 15 minutes, but it was done in just 30 minutes. I was the only car there at the time, so I'm not sure why it was done so poorly. Won't be returning--definitely not worth the cost. read more

I visited this carwash because I had a coupon and itll be my last visit due to the unprofessionalism of the staff at this location. I asked about an employee if she was working? Right ftom the get go of paying, employee # 35511 , I think his name was Josh, told me she was fired several months ago for stealing . When I got up to put my car through the wash, the guy walked over and while my window was down, told a guy with a marine like hair cut that I was asking about the employee and he too told me she was fired. I owned my business as well as have been a corporate manager, as a business you just DONT talk about past employees like that. If someone calls for a reference you cant even say they were fired. All you can say is they are not rehireable. These employees need a lesson on HR and employment regulations. read more

Worst car wash I've seen in years. Zero attention to detail, they leave dust, seat dirt, never wipe any parts of the car that would require more work, they wipe off basic areas and nothing else. Always making excuses how they can't clean this area or that area, just bad service. I have to tell them more than 5x after the car is done and point out the spots missed. Waste of money. read more

I went once to another place and regretted it as they damaged my car. I've been here many times and not once has my car been damaged. I paid 42.00 for a car wash yesterday and my car is still dirty. The rims were covered in grease and there were places on my car that were not cleaned and I pointed it out and they told me it was paint and could t come off. I got home and got it off and cleaned my rims. Also the whole under bottom was filthy!!. I'm so disappointed with the result. The other Eager Beaver in Sarasota is so much better then this one on Venice. Don't waste your money!! Take to a drive through you would be better off!!!. I feel so ripped off. Won't be going back there again. I was also told by a friend of mine that a year ago his friend took his brand new Lexus to this car wash and they didn't put the car in park and there brand new car was totaled not to mention the other cars in front of them. I have gone to eager beaver car wash many times. The quality of work is wonderful and the people working there r outstanding. Last week I met Janell Fox. I was with my boyfriend who is handicap. She immediately noticed he was having trouble trying to walk. At first our experience here was pleasant. The car wash was very busy, but staff was helpful and everything moved along pretty quickly. We drove out of the business and down the road to the grocery store and inspected the car more thoroughly after having paid $40 for the Ultimate Shine service. During our inspection we noticed dozens of dots of residue on the drivers side door. We had difficultly trying to wipe them off, so the first thing the following day we went back to try to ask for help removing them. A female employee inspected the dots and in a few seconds decided that the markings were baked into our cars clear coat and was unwilling to help us any further. This is a brand new vehicle and we assured her that this car was not purchased with these marks. Her response was to take it into a dealership. Her overall attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. She did not offer an attempt to correct the issue even though we had our receipt. We were able to finally get the marks off using goo gone indicating that the marks were not baked into the top coat, but as a result of their service. Overall very frustrating and disappointing experience. Would not return or recommend this facility to anyone. Included are before and after pictures of the residue that we found and then what the car looked like once we were able to remove the residue with Goo gone. read more

I wish they had an umbrella out front because it did get quite hot with the sun beating down on you while you wait for your car. You can wait inside but it was a little crowded and I just didn't feel like being around people with the flu going around right now. I rolled up and didn't really know what I was doing since it was my first time coming here and I didn't see a list of options posted. The first guy I talked to wasn't that friendly and looked over it so I just told him whatever he thought was the best option- as long as my car is cleaned inside as well. He asked what fragrance I wanted but again I had no idea what the options were and he didn't tell me them when I asked. I just said whatever is the most pleasant. I think he went with no fragrance because I didn't smell anything when I got into my car. Not complaining though! Sometimes the smells can be too much and cause a headache. I would say it took about 45 mins, maybe an hour? I didn't mind because again, the team worked hard and I appreciated their efforts. I'd recommend coming here because unlike the automatic car washes, you have a team of people looking over your car. I'm tired of going to automatic car washes and leaving with streak marks. read more

I pulled into into Eager Beaver because I had 30 minutes between appointments. My car definitely needed some TLC, but I wasn't planning to stop in until days later. Boy, did I select the right day and time!! There was NO WAIT in the line; I was warmly greeted by JANELL FOX, ASSISTANT CAR WASH MANAGER. I set up the services I wanted, and off my car went. When I got indoors, I saw a sign by the register which read that there was no cashier on duty that day. If there were any questions/concerns, customers had to see "a greeter" outside. I returned to speak with Janell...she asked one of her staff members to take over for her momentarily, while she went indoors with me to attend to my questions. I was thoroughly impressed with her calm nature, her patience and professionalism, and her ability to multi-task. Within a few minutes, she had my requests addressed and returned outside. I waited for my car to exit the car wash "assembly line". I am always satisfied with the quality of car washes at Eager Beaver, but this day I left especially impressed - in GREAT PART to Janell Fox, a true asset to the company!!
