I've had my car detailed twice at Venice Car Wash this year, including today. Both times I was very pleased with the result. They took care to clean the little crevices and make our older car look great inside and out. Jon (the manager, I believe) was very helpful and polite. read more

The bays have a powerful water spray wand and I think the secret is their foaming brush. It will not disappoint you. Spray your vehicle off with their wax and you've got all the technology you need for a good self car wash experience. When I'm done washing in the bay, I pull around the side and hand dry the body, Windex the windows inside and out, and if I'm feeling good, I shine the tires. ** How One Worker Can Ruin an Entire Business:** On 01/03/2025 about 1:00pm, I visited this car wash and was impressed by the service, despite being charged an unlisted $5 fee for removing insect marks from my car's front. Today, 01/05/2025 at 10:00am, I returned for the same service with my second car. To my surprise, I was charged $8 this time. When I questioned the price difference, the attendant (Willis) rudely insisted it was due to more marks and suggested I go elsewhere if I didn't like it. After the wash, many insect marks remained, unlike my first visit. I complained, and another worker, Shean, patiently tried to clean the remaining marks. However, Willis intervened, telling Shean to leave it as is. Frustrated, I told the disrespectful guy "Ey skinny boy why are you encouraging him to leave my car with the marks? I insisted on completing the job, but Willis argued he was tired of customer complaints and that I should have left as he suggested and that he didn't like me since I asked about the price. Shean continued to work diligently despite Willis' discouragement. Tired of the confrontation, I left with my car still dirty. Met with Mark at the Venice Wash. He went over the options and I chose a full detail. The price was very fair and the job was excellent. Mark and the other employee were conscience and seemed very anxious to make sure our experience was 5 Star. We will be taking our Jeep in for a wax next week. To anyone reading this review, this is a reap off. The worst quality service and you'll be charged by your face or kind of car. I was asking for a full detailing, interior and exterior and I said to the first guy, I'll pay whatever it takes to get my car impecable. He told me don't worry we'll do everything, including the leather and every detail outside but the price need to be $60. When I went to the second stage, those guys told me no, we can't do leather, we can't do every detail outside, etc. So I said ask the other guy who sold me the moon about it. To make the story short, terrible job, bad attitude except the first guy who's selling everything in order to get more money from you. BE CAREFUL AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE. Paid over $60 for a small car upgrade to the full leather treatment and dash. I just turned around and the residue from the drink my kids spilt in the back seats is still evident. I use to come here all the time but the past few times I've been so unhappy with the service I don't think I'll continue as a customer. I have used this car wash for two years. They have gone steadily downhill. Worst wash ever today. Wash tunnel dumped tons of soap. Car was left outside in the baking sun and never toweled off. When I asked if they were going to wipe off the roof(which was covered in dried soap) they said "we don't do roofs."Had to go home and wash the car over. They are cheaper than Eager Beaver but you really get what you pay for. Avoid this place - they suck. read more

I stopped by to set up a full detail appointment. One of my first questions was do you do pick up and delivery. Discussed it for awhile with the manager and another employee, said they have done it belfore. They asked me to try to get a ride but they would work it out if not. I told them I had no one to ask they would have to provide a ride. They said ok. When I arrived for appointment them employee greeted me with you have a full detail and need a ride right. When he went to get manager on duty she though a fit and refused to give me ride. She said that employee was new and didn't know better. I went this morning to use the automated wash, I won't be returning. The "polishing" cycle only went down the driver's side and when the wash was complete, my vehicle was covered in soap suds. I had to go home and re-rinse and dry. I just threw $11.00 down the drain, but it will be the last time. This car wash has been in decline for months. read more

2/2023: I recently had my Jeep detailed at the Venice Car Wash & Detail Center in Venice Florida. They did a terrible job. My car keeps track of the mileage and gas consumption per mile. When I brought the car in, my miles per gallon (MPG) was 19.2. When I picked the car up after 4 hours it still was not finished but the attendants were all taking a break. They were smoking weed as I could tell by the smell. My car was the only one on the lot. I was very disappointed in the job they did and complained at the time. When I drove off the lot, I noticed that the MPG was now down to 16.2. It was obvious the car had been driven! Amanda one of the managers denied my accusation. I explained to her that there is no way the MPG would have changed unless someone took my car out and drove it hard. I am furious and I attempted to get the name of the establishment owner but she refused to give it to me. I will continue to investigate until I know. The place is a mess and the people working there don't care, are unprofessional, rude and irresponsible. Take heed and find another provider! You have been advised. read more

My car wash and mini detail was excellent - and the car was filthy after a house move, a 10 hour drive to get here, and multiple fast foods eaten while driving. They offer a multitude of services, either a la carte or in packages. Take a few moments to determine what you want so you don't pay for services you don't want - or worse, think they did a poor job when you didn't buy the service to begin with. $20 for a carwash that wasn't half bad. It's not a hand wash which is what I normally want for my car but it was very quick maybe 20 mins from once the car began to get clean. Total time was about 30 mins since we had to wait for 2 other cars to go through the wash. Once it was washed they had 5 guys wiping the car down and cleaning the inside. It wasn't perfect with a few things that could have been better like wiping the rear window, cup holders, and rear view mirror one more time. Still it was much cleaner than other carwash places in the area that take over 1 hour to get your car clean and for the same price. I would go for the most expensive wash to get your car cleaned inside and out otherwise you probably won't be happy but still that's only $20 if you go on a discount day or $24.99 if it's a regular priced day. read more

Went in today and paid $25 bucks for the Crown Jewel car wash. What a disappointment! The automatic car wash was not top notch and then the mini-detail by humans was a joke. Couldn't even put tire shine all the way around each tire. Road dirt/grime still on back bumper of car. Just a lazy, poorly done job. Took them 5 minutes top to do job. That is how long it will take me to drive on by on by to another shop in the future. Owners better get a handle on this before business goes away. read more

I happened to drive by and saw this on the way home and it wasn't the best place to get a car wash. It costs $1 for vacuums. The vacuums don't vacuum very well at all. It was a waste of one dollar. This was my go to car wash for a quick exterior wash until I was turned away because they "wouldn't have time to close the car wash." I pulled up with about 10 minutes to spare before they closed with 3 cars ahead of me but no cones indicating that they weren't accepting more cars. After waiting a few minutes someone came to me (the LAST car in line) and said they couldn't wash my car and then decided to put up the cones but let everyone else in line stay instead of allowing me through and placing the cones behind me. I will NEVER go to this car wash again. In fact I would drive 5 minutes south out of my way and wait 25 minutes at eager beaver before I ever go back here. June 27. After car wash was finished, their driver pulled another car up in back of mine. The car wash driver got out of the other car and mistakenly left it in drive. It ran in to the back of mine and di over 1000.00 dollars worth of damage. They did give me accident report. They refused phone number of car wash owner and refused the name of their insurance company. Very polite but uncooperative. I would not go back there. Beware if you go there. read more

Paid $15.95 for the King Service, the most expensive of the 3 services posted on the outside. Did not even include inside cleaning or vacuuming - and he was very surprised when I asked him why not. OMG - Do NOT go here! I went in last week and the first crazy thing that happened was that one of the guys who was drying my car after the wash was having a disgusting, totally inappropriate 'guy' discussion as he dried my car. I heard the whole thing. As a woman sitting there alone I felt VERY uncomfortable. THEN, I realized later that the car wash DAMAGED my car! I remembered retrospectively that when the guy guided me into the wash, it didn't feel like I was on the track right but I figured he knew what he was doing. Toward the end of the wash, my right mirror was snapped inward by the machinery. This shows that I was too far to the right in the wash. Most of the scuffing is on the right side where I was too close to the machinery. When I tried to go to the manager to explain all of this he was VERY rude, completely unaccountable, he shouted something insulting and walked away. This is a terrible establishment on so many levels. I strongly encourage staying far away from this place. read more

Did a detail at this place and it was horrible! They didn't even remove the dirt from the panels, which easely could be cleaned with the cloth, didn't vacuum under the seats and in between the seats and the door. Just did a sloppy expensive job. Do not go there for detailing! read more

I've been going to this car wash for years and I'm not sure if there is a new owner or what but recently the quality has gone way down hill... the "spot free rinse" left spots all over my car.. when trying to rinse soap off of my car soap still spits out for quite a while as if to prolong the process so you have to spend more money. Then to top it all off I went to go vacuum the interior and I threw a bunch off money into a machine that had NO suction. What a waste I will never spend my money here again and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Received the $100 Bumper to Bumper as a gift. As part of the gift my vehicle was brought to Venice Car Wash and delivered back to me. The hood is covered in spots. The windows and mirrors consistently sparkle in the center and have smears around the outer edges. Can't read the gauges on the dash because they're smeared with something greasy. The steering wheel is now sticky. AND the interior stinks so badly that you have to have the windows open while driving. I called and spoke to Lee who was beyond rude. I hadn't told him anything yet other than I wasn't real pleased with the job they did. He told me to bring the vehicle back (time out of work) so he could see what i was complaining about and hung up on me. I think my time would be better spent cleaning my hood, windows, steering wheel, dashboard and mirrors than becoming even more frustrated talking to someone face to face with no customer service skills. On 5/5/2016 I had my car detailed here, and while my car was in their posession they damaged my passenger side mirror. When I pointed it out to the car wash manager ( Justin) he denied they damaged it. I wanted to know who the owner was, and what their policy on damaging cars was, and was told that a bunch of guys own it , and as to the policy it was " his word against my". I have an 80K+ car in mint condition and I would have notice damage to my car prior to dropping it off !!! Justin said that the damage was there when he started working on it " I swear to God it was there", I asked him why he didn't point it out to me ? his reply was, " I was scamming them !!!" Really!!!!. I called the Venice police and have a report. Also, I went to the City of Venice to see who is the owner . I got a copy of City Of Venice Local Business Tax Receipt. They listed a P.O.Box for an address and a bogus phone number. I have send numerous e-mails with pictures to their customer service rep tcerini@kingsautospa.com ( found this info on their web) and got No answer, Big Surprise !!! :( I live 7 min from the car wash and at 2:46 I got a call that Justin was on his way to pick me up. He didn't get to my house till 3:20 I had called the car wash to see where he was, but the call went to voice mail. When Justin finally arrived, I asked him what took him so long he said he got tied up with other cars at the car wash. It made no sense since I was told he was" On His Way to pick me up En Route!!!" We have been living on the Island for almost 30 years, and used this car wash over the years but this is the first time we have problems with them, Worst Customer Service EVER!!! read more
