A bartender we were talking to referred this little shop so we of course had to check it out…read more This little shop is a girlie store with jewelry and cute little phone things and other accessories. They carry a number of local artists as well as national brands. Just ask if you want to know which pieces are by locals / islanders. I found a cool little pendant that had Big Island sand in it (I know... totally touristy but it was cute and was by a local), and my mom found some beautiful earrings made by a lady on Maui. The lady manning the store was very personable but not pushy. So, she gets a plus for not pressuring us to buy anything but instead gave us tidbits of info on the local pieces/artists. Stop by and say Hi and take your time to look through everything. You might be surprised. :)

I get it, the island doesn't have many shopping options, but when your luggage gets delayed during a connecting flight, you at least need 1) bathing suit 2) dinner outfit and 3) lounge wear. I strolled in w/my family on a rainy afternoon. I did not receive a greeting, a smile, NOTHING- just three helpless employees standing around with scowls on their faces! I might have looked plain and tired because I just got off a plane, but i'm an attorney you idiots- people willing to spend money don't always look glamorous! I am relieved I took my wallet to two other places that I highly recommend... 1) Ginger and Koi in Kona- customer service was TOP NOTCH and the clothes/swimsuits were even cuter, with a great selection 2) Hula Moon Boutique in Kamuela, super cute shop, great customer service and very nice clothing! The BEST PART... drum roll please... between the two shops, we spent $1200!!! I would never return/recommend this shop to anyone- you could easily buy every item at this store on Revolve.com, Nordstrom or Etsy and you would receive excellent customer service!!

My daughter purchased a couple of pairs of dressier shorts and a friend of mine found a super cute top and pants outfit. As others have said, prices are high, but you are in Hawaii and you can see that many of the other boutiques in the area are no longer, so we were happy to suport this business!

We got a 25% off coupon afterwards and I ended up using it that same day. I bought a tank top and the material is very soft and comfortable. The employee was even nice enough to let me try on the tank top before purchase just to see if it fit well. Most shops in this area open at 10AM.
