It came highly recommended by a local couple that I was talking to. Crossroads Custard is a quaint little place with only three tables inside and a few outside. The counter displays make anyone with a sweet tooth (me) water at the mouth. I enjoyed a red velvet home made waffle with chocolate mint ice cream topped with whipped cream. They even gave me a "pup cup" for my puppy, Cinnamon! It was topped with a dog biscuit. I found parking right outside, but the lot was pretty full. The service was Southern hospitality at it's best. Only after persistent pressure did they begrudgingly offer a food‑only gift certificate--not merchandise--though maybe, possibly, someday, at some undefined later date, they might let her use it in the store.
