The presentation was one of my favorite parts. The tasting tower was beautifully arranged, with the wines placed in the recommended order for sampling. They offered a nice variety of flavors, and honestly, every wine we tried was delicious. The interior was small but inviting and cozy without feeling cramped or claustrophobic. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. My only complaints were that they didn't offer water with the tasting, which would have been nice, and I would have loved to see some pairing options such as cheese, crackers, or chocolate. After leaving, we walked around the area and discovered that they have a second location with a different interior. Based on some of the reviews I saw, that location offers chocolate and wine pairing tastings, which sounds like a fun option to try next time. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience and really enjoyed the visit. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Their tasting room is beautiful but super cozy. I immediately felt relaxed the second I walked in. The winery is surrounded by forest and farmland. A picturesque landscape to admire while you drink wine! We sampled a bunch of their wines, and I finally tried their famous Shamong Blush and I get the hype now. It was smooth, sweet and went down easily. I really also enjoyed the Shamong Red and the Perfect Pear! Highly recommend doing a flight to sample different types of wines. They do have food onsite which they get from Summit Catering -- at the time of our visit (February 2025), we got the flatbread, cheeseboard, mac & cheese bites, and baked brie. Everything paired so well with the wine and just made it feel like a whole experience, not just a tasting. This is such a good spot to spend the day with your people. Date night, girls' day, family time -- you could easily hang here for hours like we did! And their event space is so pretty. If you're planning a wedding, shower, birthday -- this would be such a dreamy place to celebrate. If you need weekend plans, this is your sign. This was totally worth the hour drive!

This no-admission-fee event offers food for purchase from a local caterer, wine and my beloved wine slushies. There was a young man singing and playing guitar. They also have their tasting room and store open for purchases. The location is lovely, rustic but comfortable, they've built a lovely building and covered porch. There were patio tables and chairs both under cover and out along the vineyard. We stopped first at the local catering tent. I got the pasta salad, which was delicious. Nice, firm pasta with a lovely dressing and fresh, crisp veggies. Very nice on a warm evening. Then to the slushies - which were all kinds of yum, kind of like a berry pina colada, very tropical. There were people milling about, we joined another group at a large table, a group of ladies, very nice. All in all, a pleasant evening. We decided we'd definitely come again next year. At the time there were only two tables sitting (6 people total) and the two of us. We noticed everyone sitting were doing tastings so we decided to ask if we could also take a seat. The woman was hesitant to let us sit but did. I really wish wineries would offer bar stools so you don't have to stand for your entire tasting. Since we were able to sit and relax we ordered a cheese and cracker platter. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food we received. After about 30 minutes there a huge crowd of people arrived. The one employee was completely overwhelmed. Finally an older gentleman came out to help her. Although the woman helping us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine the fact that she was spread so thin made it tough to get any personalized attention here. I ended up getting a flight and liked everything. My server was able to answer most of my questions about which wine came from where. But the food was where they excelled. We ordered a steel Chardonnay, a bottle of sweet white and a bottle of scribe. The property is beautiful with many buildings for horses, lamas and sheep. After sitting for a half hour we ordered some foods via code on our picnic table. For came fairly quick but no forks, knives or napkins. We asked the server and he said sure....... Never came back. That is a bad mark on a really good day at a nice place. One think I noticed was there were a lot of young children.

My SO and I stopped at Balic while we were in the area and the winery is a bit small, but very nice. We were early, so we had time to chat with the owner for a while before people started showing up. We got to sample every wine and ended up leaving with a case for an extremely reasonable price. You cannot buy Balic in stores, but you may be lucky finding a restaurant that carries them exclusively. This is a must while travelling south, also, try the blackberry wine because it is exquisite.

The young ladies who helped us were so patient and explained everything including the wines and food menu. The charcuterie board was huge and everything on it was good, and three of us ordered the shrimp scampi flatbread. Lastly, the wines.....the wines were delicious! We walked out with purchasing at least 3 bottles each. These are the wines I can remember tasting, there were two more I cannot think of: 1. Blueberry 2. Blackberry 3. This one was outstanding, definitely tastes like Amaretto without the harsh alcohol flavor. *Smores Cream Wine - It was good, definitely like a smores. *Mocha Java Cream Wine - Our server suggested us to try this one as it was his favorite. We both dislike coffee so we were not expecting to care for this one, but we liked it more than the Smores! Definitely very chocolatey! *Strawberry Mango Cider - This was strong in strawberry with the mango being an aftertaste, but still very good and sweet! *Peach Ginger Cider - This was definitely strong in ginger, almost too much, as I would prefer a stronger peach flavor, but it was still good. This was also sweet. My top three of the day: Almonique, Ranier Red, and Ranier White My husband's top three of the day: Almonique, Ranier Red, and Sangria. I would have loved to have tried some more as it sounds like they have a lot of good wines that are in line with what we liked! There's an indoor area, like a huge garage inside that you can sit in, as well as an outdoor area, both under an awning and another under umbrellas. Despite the heat, we decided to sit under the awning, because it was a bit sterile and gloomy feeling inside. We ordered a flight and a 16 oz wine slushee, which comes with a complimentary plastic to go cup. The slushee was a bit too sweet for me, but it was great given how sweltering it was outside. We ordered a hummus plate, which was supposed to come with an olive tapenade, according to the menu, but didn't. It was still good though!
