We were there perhaps 45 minutes on a Saturday at lunchtime, and it never stopped being busy. I'm no expert on strudel, but I can say our strudels were crunchy on the outside and generally satisfying. We thought we'd ordered too much and we still polished it all off. I especially enjoyed our custard dessert strudel - creamy and yummy, without being heavy at all!

We walked down the main street, Maria-Theresien Strasse, and stumbled upon this place. We glanced at the menu outside, and decided to give it a go due to the variety in dishes. We almost immediately went for venison, as it definitely struck that craving chord in me. Both dishes were venison (one steak and one stew dish). When delivered and consumed, they definitely did not disappoint. The steak came drizzled with an appetizing creamy mushroom sauce with a side of what I can only describe as oversized tater tots. The stew was almost like a goulash, served with a side of spaetzle. We finished our meal with a desert and coffee. Overall great meal.
