I knew in advance that on Thursdays (2nd & 4th weeks only), the public street parking in front of the building was off limits for street sweeping/no parking between 7am-11am, so I got very lucky pulling up in front at 11am sharp. Nice. Easy walk. The Foster Museum was very simple, decent, positive, and relaxing environment filled with gorgeous nature views/sketches/watercolor artworks by the U.K. artist, Tony Foster. Good feeling here. Free admissions and good customer service staffs. You can just walk in or register online. There's a tiny gift area not far from the public restrooms. I signed the guestbook at the end of my walk. Good place to hang around/includes unlimited paper, paper/pencils/samples/etc. If you like to sketch and get some creative inspirations, all the nature artworks in the gallery is definitely a good place to start. Not huge, but perfectly quite and calm for art lovers. You can request for an orientation and/or tour as desired. Great first impression during first visit. It's the positive feeling I get from observing the energy and various colorful artworks. Simple and stress-free. Good value/free admissions is totally worth the 1-2 hours here. They also host art classes too, but I will need to take time to browse around online. Good vibes. Staffs are friendly inside. Hidden place. Love it.

We went with a sort of ruggedized shadow box style using glare-proof museum acrylic (that won't shatter like glass), and the end-result is beautiful and totally exceeded my expectations! Paul (who's such a nice guy and a pleasure to work with) listened carefully and then applied his creativity and skill to capture exactly the look I wanted...sort of rustic with an authentic Western feel. He chose the perfect colors and textures for the backing and frame to make the silver buckles really stand out. The craftsmanship is just exceptional, with each buckle perfectly aligned and very securely mounted (he put a lot of work into this), showing real precision, balance and a real sense of skill and pride. The overall result feels solid/sturdy and looks artful and clean. He even installed heavy-duty hardware so that I can mount it to my horse's stall. It was fun discussing the project with Paul. He wanted to understand the meaning and significance of of the pieces being framed up and the theme and look I wanted and he absolutely nailed it. The turnaround was quick, the quality amazing and the display looks like something out of a Western art gallery even though it'll hang right where it belongs, on the wall of my horse's stall!

I began chatting with Vanessa and immediately she began brainstorming and coming up with ideas. Within minutes she had drafted several variations of the idea. After I selected my preference she went right to work and encouraged my input through the multiple stages of the process, ensuring it was exactly what I wanted. At no point was I left in the dark, Vanessa sent me progress pictures along the way. It was nice to see how things were coming along. I was very surprised, not just by how quickly it was done, but the extra degree of care that went into the piece. Vanessa overdelivered in every way, and I can't wait to make one special little girl the happiest for her big day. She is absolutely going to love her gift. I highly recommend Vanessa, go see what she can do for you!
