Which I did, and 15 minutes later we were at Jonas Green, and there were lots of spots available. Jonas Green is a small park, with a small and very calm beach -- perfect for our toddler. Like most of the waterfront around Annapolis, it has beautiful views, plus restrooms, grills and picnic tables, and a nice variety of people: couples, families, kids. Very family friendly and quiet. We loved it, and will definitely go back.

There is an entry fee for non AA county residents of $8 and for residents it's maybe $5, cash or card. Lots of parking at all different places. Recommend coming early on nice days to avoid crowds. Numerous trails and options throughout, and the park is open from 7 AM until dusk. Among the options are a dog park, art galleries, playgrounds, kayak rentals, ice skating, and picnic areas. I did not get to the Visitors Center, as it closed at 4 PM. We visited the South River Overlook Trail, which was four-tenths of a mile in length, and had benches at the water to fully enjoy and appreciate the spectacular views. There are six other trails, ranging to as much as a mile and one-half in length. An $8 entry fee for automobiles, additional for larger vehicles, and they also offer lifetime senior passes.

He was flexible with scheduling our half day excursion and checked in the day before to confirm our time. He even suggested that we go out early to avoid a potential thunderstorm to try and ensure we got our full 5 hours. On the boat, he and his first mate were informative, and we rode about an hour into the bay to the fishing area. Once we arrived, they quickly got all of the gear out and explained the process. Then the fish started coming! After 3 hours, we had caught our allocation, and made the trip back to the dock. At the dock we took pictures and Captain Steve cleaned and filleted our fish. The $5 entrance fee isn't bad at all, and I'm sure some of that goes toward the employees who maintain the park. I grabbed my tent, cooler, and some good food and chilled out for the day. No complaints whatsoever. Sometimes all I want is some water, an ocean view, food, and somewhere to sit my ass down.

A $.50 service charge seems a lot for a hidden charge, but I guess they need the money for upkeep. I don't know if they charge children or just adults. The restrooms were clean. The website stated they had lifeguards but they did not. They did have first aid but overhead that they could not give anyone meds for jellyfish stings. Not sure why they have first aid that can't do anything for you but don't have any lifeguards. The sand is more grainy than preferable but otherwise a pleasurable place to spend the day. They have a concession stand and a store that rents chairs and umbrellas and floaties. I had a hotdog for like $7 but it was actually pretty tasty. Very chill place to spend the day.

Dolphins, osprey with fish in their talons, lighthouses, a drawbridge, and a chill approach to life. He navigated us Tilghman island... let us rest, eat and swim... then returned us safely to our lives in DC. The 38 ft sloop is awesome, well cared for and handled great in some chop. I will absolutely sail with captain Paul again. I highly recommend sailing with him.
