Dealing with Si's was a great experience…read more Our Audi had some fairly minor damage due to an RV driver that misjudged his turning radius and took the paint off the rear bumper of our car. He wanted to pay for it himself and I agreed (although I did get his insurance info also). I took the car three high rated repair shops, including Si's. I had very favorable opinions of all of them. Even though they all use software programs, Si's came in substantially less than the others (different program). I verified that they could do it for this, with the same caveat that all of them had; the Audi bumper sensors may need to be re-calibrated, at a several hundred dollar additional amount. I let the guy paying for it review the quotes and he agreed to go with Si's. He was also informed about the possibility of additional charges. The other driver took a check by and I took the car in to be repaired. It was determined that the sensors needed to be re-calibrated. The other driver balked at this and didn't want to pay. Si's was great. No pressure on me. They told me work out what I needed to and they'll wait to hear back. The other driver did agree to pay and took the money by and I got the car back very soon after. The work was perfect. There is no way to see where the paint was damaged and the sensors all worked great. I cannot recommend Si's high enough for working through the issues and doing perfect work. Everyone I met or spoke with was super friendly and helpful.

After…read morehoping it was just a cosmetic issue, Kraig informed me that it was truly a safety issue, and explained that without repair, a front-on collision could cause the door to fracture into me in the driver seat. It was an easy decision to suck it up and take the insurance hit. While their quote was higher than the other I had gotten, their reviews blew the other shop out of the park. I was glad my insurance company allowed me to choose my own shop. Kraig was patient with me, having never been in an accident, and never having to make an insurance claim. He worked closely with my insurance company to make the whole process seamless. I dropped off the car and was able to get a free loaner car from the shop. This was a HUGE help! The duration they needed my car was quoted longer than the other shop, but they got my car back to me well before the overestimate. In addition to fixing the issues, the car was provided to me cleaner than it was when I dropped it off and they gave me chocolate . Very happy with the service provided and would recommend this shop to others.

    Burnside Collision - After repair

***** Five Stars to Burnside Collision, which I highly recommend if your car needs body work. My…read more12 year-old car had an unfortunate scrape with a concrete parking block which it lost resulting in the shredding of my fender liner, breaking of connectors that held the bumper to the left front side panel, and the dislodging/breakage of one fog light and one headlight washer. The first two places I took the car to wanted well over $2,000 to repair the damage largely because of the cost of replacing the fog light (which I've never used) and the headlight washer which I didn't care about (I didn't even know I had one and can wash the headlight by hand). Burnside Collision understood that I didn't want to spend one-quarter to one-third of the value of my car to repair relatively minor damage (the car still ran fine). They installed a new fender liner, reattached the fender to the side panel, put the dislodged fog light and headlight washer back in place (albeit non-functional) for less than $400. They even gave me a free car wash that was the equivalent of detailing the outside. And the work was done in one day once the part came in. They understood what I needed and wanted and charged me a reasonable price for the work. I highly recommend them to you.

George was very knowledgeable, provided up-front cost options, and suggestions. No short cuts in the repairs in maintaining vehicle safety. I chose this auto body shop based on strong reviews. While the quality of the repair itself was…read moregood, the overall experience was challenging due to pricing, communication, and scheduling issues. Communication was responsive at first but declined significantly after the car was dropped off. Texts and emails about the repair timeline and rental car coordination often went unanswered, and my name was repeatedly misspelled despite being originally correct in their system. I was explicitly texted that my car would be ready by 4:00 PM on the scheduled pickup day, and the rental car company was notified as well. When I followed up later that afternoon due to no confirmation, staff appeared confused that I believed the car was ready, despite the prior message and the rental company being informed. I did not receive clarification until right before close, when I was told the car was not ready due to a missing mud flap. This message arrived to me on a day they closed at noon, which prevented pickup Friday and now created an issue for pickup altogether for me since I was leaving town Sunday and they aren't open weekends. I was told Monday the vehicle could not be held, and my boyfriend went out of his way to retrieve it. Approximately 2.5 hours after the car was picked up, I received a message stating that the remaining parts (mud flap and step pad) were available, which was confusing given that the vehicle had just been released and the urgency of pick up while I was out of town. The final cost exceeded $5,000, which felt excessive compared to the insurance estimate of $1,029, even accounting for differences. They did offer to complete the remaining work at my house, which I appreciated, but scheduling proved difficult due to delayed responses. Communication only resumed once I agreed to bring the vehicle back in myself. Positives: the repair looks good, the car was cleaned and waxed, and the automated phone system was convenient for scheduling. Overall, while the workmanship was solid, the high cost, inconsistent communication, and scheduling issues made this a frustrating experience. I would not return.

They are way too expensive to have people who don't know how they work or how to treat them to be handling them. Huge mistake on my part.
