I used to shop at Macy's but switched as their stuff was way over priced and all started to look the same. At least here you can find different styles. In addition to clothes, I have purchased handbags here as well as jewelry of which there is much and most of it is very affordable. Next time you are here and find something you like, look at the price compared to many other places. It just cannot be beat. I used to, many years ago, not like TJ'S as much because it was so hit or miss. I am not saying it is still not occasionally a miss, but chances are if you take some time and look around, nine times out of ten, you will be able to find something. I like alot of sparkle in my wardrobe and notice they have increased in this way. I also purchased a lovely gold necklace and it was so affordable. I bought a handbag here..Macy's handbags are usually over 100 dollars and at TJ'S you can find a handbag for around 40. They have a pretty good selection as well. There are also some nice places to eat in the shopping center. Franco's pizza and Pasta is there and they have the best pizza in the area. King's breakfast and lunch is across the street. Really spend an hour or two and just enjoy. It's a really nice shopping experience at TJ'S.

There is plenty of parking which I really like and which sets them apart from many other shopping centers because many of those other shopping centers either have limited parking or the parking lot is set very far away from all the stores. Not so here and I really like that. Oh and another great thing about them is how professional they are at getting all the snow plowed in the winter so customers do not have a difficult time. I like the center, it's probably the nicest plaza in Monroe.

However in the last couple of years it hasn't been the same. First, the variety of items available seemed to shift a bit. They were great for finding cute seasonal decor that you wouldn't see anywhere else. That was gone. They were great for finding styles you wouldn't find elsewhere, at least not easily. They also carried a wide range of sizes which made it great to shop for anyone. All of that is now gone. They carry the same styles you can find in any store, at higher prices, and only in standard sizes. The other thing is they have a decent sized store front and have never reopened it since Covid first hit! If you want to shop for anything, you have to buy it online without being able to see or try anything on in person. Also, you'd better hope it fits because you only have 7 days from the *purchase* date to return it. Need more than 7 days? Store credit only. It's too bad really. There's nothing similar in the area and they had so much potential, but it's impossible to shop at a location that literally does not allow their customers into their store anymore.
