They take your temperature and make you fill out a questionnaire about exposure and travel. Staff is wearing extreme PPE, which I respect. They requested that I email the updated insurance information which I did. The following morning my daughters showed up for their scheduled appointment and were told their appointment had been cancelled because Blu Oasis didn't have their insurance information. The staff member told my daughters that a voicemail message had been left advising of this. This was a complete lie. No voicemail message had been left and Blu Oasis had received the insurance information via email. I called to ask why they cancelled the appointment and they couldn't bother to answer the phone or return my voicemail message. I scheduled with another dental practice in La Quinta and would suggest you do the same. Blu Oasis is rude, unprofessional, doesn't tell the truth and has no consideration for their patients' time. All they had to do was ask my daughters for their insurance cards when they arrived but they turned them away and lied about notifying about the appointment cancellation. Stay clear of this place!! Simply horrible.

My name is Anna, and this place is horrible. Only good…read morething about this place are the actual dentists. To start, my dental insurance scheduled an appointment at 12pm. What they DON'T TELL the insurance companies is that the whole place closes for lunch at that time for an hour. I work so I had scheduled it according to my lunch break. With it being a routine check up I figured it wouldn't take long. This was the first time I was at this office location. I just left, the staff was extremely rude because I didn't know they were closing even though it was my first time there. They knew it was my first time because that's what I led with when they first addressed me walking in. I was told "You need to leave, we are closing for lunch" I responded "I apologize, it's my first time here, my appointment was scheduled at 12." They proceeded to be extremely rude, talked over me, and told me to "Get Out" when I was trying to ask quick questions about rescheduling. Apart from my first appointment, the front counter staff lost my personal information (copies of my insurance card, drivers license etc.) 3 SEPARATE TIMES. Later on it was determined that I needed a tooth removed and decided to get an implant with a fake tooth. Was quoted a little over 4k for the WHOLE procedure. Used their finance option and signed the contract. They put the post in, make the mold for the tooth etc. The DAY OF the procedure to put in the tooth, they pull me into the office and say that the old employee quoted me wrong and I needed to pay ANOTHER 4k to finish the procedure. Absolutely wild. I had no choice, they had prepped everything to install the tooth and then blindsided me. I haven't been back since because the front counter staff is absolutely horrible, rude, unprofessional and down right scammers. They took financial advantage of me, a young woman, on purpose and it's absolutely disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE.

All of his assistants and dental hygienists are equally as professional, in addition to being very warm and putting patients at ease. Honestly, who likes going to the dentist...certainly not me. I moved away from my family dentist many years ago and I have had only ONE other dentist in 40 years that I liked as much as Dr Rojas. I feel very fortunate that my friend recommended him several years ago. My 90 year old mom will be moving here from the midwest and so Dr Rojas will be her new dentist. She has seen him a couple of times when she had an emergency. Again, he is gentle and thorough. I find his fees reasonable as well. IF you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr Rojas and his team. No matter where you live in the Coachella Valley, they are all worth the drive!!

I had to have x-rays, a cleaning and dental exam. The office was clean and the staff very friendly and I really liked Dr. Rojas who seemed very genuine and knowledgeable. I have one issue with a tooth that he wants to keep an eye on but other than that all good. The hygienist recommended a waterpik to help with my flossing which I appreciated. My husband also went to Dr. Rojas and liked him as well. The office is a storefront in a strip mall which was a little different but I was able to pick up some groceries after my appointment!

I have since had procedures done. I first had doubts because I had great teeth and floss every day! I had 2nd and 3rd opinions on the Bridge work and the problem I had with the temp crown which is common. I didn't know that. They had agreed with the majority of the work.Of course Dentists are going to have some slight differences of approach. I also learned I wasn't flossing correctly. Greg is the Dental Hygienist at La Quinta Dental and he is excellent at what he does. He has been there for the 6yrs I have been going there and only left briefly and returned. He is better than any Hygienist I have had and I have no complaints for the previous ones! He is just detailed, knowledgeable and takes his time and doesn't rush. That makes him stand out from the rest. Now the reason why I felt inclined to do this review! I recently had work done by Dr. Cheung, he has great chair side manners. He tells you prior to raise your right arm if you need a break and during he asks you repeatedly if you're ok? I am already used to this from the Bridge work and trust him 100%. His procedures are always painless and he ensures that you are numb and not experiencing any pain. You feel relaxed and secure knowing you are in great hands. Yesterday I had my root canal by an outside provider because they didn't have an oral surgeon for this procedure and I left appreciating Dr. Cheung even more! In the 2hrs and even prior that doc didn't ask me to raise my hand if I was uncomfortable and only asked once during the 2hrs and towards the end if I was ok! Even after I was nearly choking when he injected liquid in my mouth it landed in my throat and had to sit up in the middle of the root canal! Err Chair side manner is probably something that is lacking in dental schools, but I assure you, although no one is perfect and everyone can have a bad day don't judge Dr. Cheung based on one hit wonders instead of a ongoing patient. Another thing. The office staff like Vivian and Amber are wonderful. Vivian goes over the treatment plan and they give you options and they will work with you with a payment plan. Vivian is great at going over details and has patience. I have called her and bless her heart she is so sweet and patient! Amber in the front is kind and the back staff there is nice! You can tell a lot about an office when you have people that have been working there for years! Give Dr. Cheung a try..

I paid way too much money out of pocket for…read moreprocedures (which I assumed included the X-rays), all the while they were depleting my insurance deductible with separate, outrageous X-ray costs. I didn't find that out until I went in for another procedure and was told it would cost twice as much as I had been quoted (in writing). They said that was because my deductible was down to $24! When I said that I could not afford the extra cost for that last procedure, I was told that they were charging me $100.00 for a "missed visit" and the "dentist's time". Dr. Jimmy Cheung is very arrogant and does not pay attention to your concerns. Update: I went to a different dentist after a whole bridge that Cheung put in, fell out during dinner. After closer examination, this new dentist told me that the bridgework that Cheung did was "unacceptable" and that I should ask for my money back. (Good luck with that). Stay away from them. Anyone interested in filing a Class Action Lawsuit?
