First bite? Complete shock. It was still hot and had this strange, almost chemical oil taste. I didn't spit it out out of respect for the people sitting nearby, but it was bad. I tried a second roll thinking maybe it was just that one--but nope, same exact taste. This time I had to grab a napkin and spit it out. At that point, I asked for a drink refill just to get the taste out of my mouth and debated saying something--but honestly, I didn't feel like dealing with the back-and-forth of explaining that the food was basically inedible. I asked for the check and left after only one bite of each roll. For reference, the rolls were the "Caroline" and the one right above it on the menu. I'd strongly recommend staying away from their sushi--period. Ended up going next door to Cracker Barrel just to salvage the night.
