And unlike a lot of Japanese places the portions aren't tiny. You can get a good meal here at a reasonable price. The place itself is pretty tiny and always crowded. Seriously, the place is small. Don't go with a large group, you will not fit. Tiny as it is, Its usually better to try for a table rather than go for take away. Although they do take away, a lot of japanese food doesn't take kindly to sitting in a plastic container. It really should be eaten absolutely fresh. Some of the dishes are more durable and will stand up to the trip home so if you chose wisely, you can still get a good dinner even if the eat in is packed.

Despite this, we had an excellent meal of perch, miso soup, king prawns, beef, fried rice, teriyaki chicken and salad. There are a few different menu sets, which provide diners with plenty of choice based on food preferences and price limitations. We were also given the opportunity to catch the eggs and rice in bowls, which is always very entertaining. The restaurant is great for group bookings, as everyone is centred around the BBQ. The tsukune (chicken mince balls) were an absolute highlight; crispy and covered in a gorgeous sticky sauce. It's a great place for a casual dinner over great authentic Japanese flavours!
