All of these guys who rate this place bad are losers. Why? Because they have not tried the alternative of getting the weed from these fake pop up dispensaries or delivery services that give you fake/sprayed/absolute garbage bud. At least at toyko I get to pick and I actually get the crap I pay for, and it smells and burns like real weed. If you don't like it, go buy the trash from those other clowns on weedmaps seriously. Or just be happy you have the option to buy sup-par but still real weed and pick the crappy strain you want. All these guys complain it's not good, I've had great batches from Toyko. Revised review as I had a chance to come back a second time to review the experience with the management team - very positive and welcomed with great hospitality. The management team was sympathetic to the issue and offered further coaching of the different products in setting the right expectations. Understanding the struggles in the industry as a cannabis distributor, they educated me on how the products were made and how they made efforts to rectify the situation. Definitely a much better improvement than the last in owning up the responsibility and I give them good kudos for that! read more

sold me a defective product that was supposed to be 15 dollars and after 10 minutes of wasting my time they had pushed me to pay full 30. after product didn't work i was met with uncaring staff who fed me loads of unnecessary attitude after they had taken two hours of my hard work and didn't care. Budtender essentially told me i was ignorant and wrong for not agreeing with the complete loss of my money, then when asked for her manager she gave me a hassle and brought out a paper with info@yurcann.ca and made me fight for a managers contact. i then finally got it after asking her thirty questions to force out who gave her the paper with the email. Worst retail experience of my life. The manager then came out all righteous speaking to me the customer as if i had no business wanting my moneys worth when the pre rolled joints she sold me didn't smoke. i said if you buy an iphone and it doesn't turn on do you simply accept the loss or do you go return it? and when you return it do they replace it same day or tell you too bad so sad? unbelievably awful experience here at tokyo smoke yorkville, won't be back ever again. I was a daily customer. Specifically the manager and staff member sarah were extremely unpleasant and disrespectful, looking forward to their financial demise in the future so they can understand. read more

They should rename the store Tokyo Joke. Their prices are outrageous and their products are garbage. I spent $70 on a Kolab THC cartridge and it only lasted a day. I didn't even feel anything. No high no nothing. Don't spend your money here. Go to Canna Cabana instead. read more

I now just buy the edibles - which are generally pretty good. BUT BEWARE - the different Tokyo Smokes have different prices for the same product. It's a pain. I'm halfway between two TS and have to check prices online at both to decide where to buy. It is bad marketing and leaves clients feeling ripped off. read more

Weed is mediocre and the staff is too. I asked for some help and they specifically offered me the cheapest weed they had. I asked for something better and they offered me "the most expensive weed we have". This is how I get treated a lot I. The atmosphere of this shop is great , the staff was good but it's too glamorized and it's such a misconception , PRICEY as hell and ran out of weed real quick, buds weren't that great and it's a shame to see how awesome the place looks... expecting the buds to be just as great as how the shop is presented but the buds weren't like some of the buds I got and when I smoked it, it tasted like actual dirt and I mean the taste of actual dirt in flower pots and on the ground and it's not a good taste to smoke it was unsettling but to enhance the taste I used flavoured papers and it somewhat tasted better (DO NOT SMOKE WITH BACKWOODS IT DOES NOT PAIR WELL. TRUST FROM A POT HEAD SINCE '13 ) but honestly and truly I prefer and recommend CAFE to be honest with you Disclaimer ~ I'm not trashing/hating on the shop, they can improve on their buds is what I'm trying to say, everyone is entitled to their own opinion wether it's good,Bad or non relevant, I'm just putting out my opinion, it's good to get feedback and improve All friendliness here :) read more

Buyer beware. Although I have happily bought and been very happy, they were out of my faithful brand and strain so I asked for something else good from a small and natural grow-op and I was recommended a specific name right off the bat by one of the girls holding the iPad that you order from. The one she recommended was OLD!!!DRY!!!RAUNCHY. If you want to know how dry, it turns to powder with the slightest pressure between fingers, no grinder needed here, it doesn;t even get me high. What a rip-off! I'm extremely put off that I spent over $100 for a quarter and had to keep it. There is a date packed date on the jars they give you. I highly suggest that if you shop here, that you ask to see the packing date on the container before paying and leaving there cause they do not stand behind their product. In fact, it's almost as if they tell their staff to up-sell the old merc first because when I told this girl I was picky and wanted high quality she knew from my usual brand choice (super high quality and clean) yet the strain that she recommended out of her memory bank without thought this is low quality and older than old. She did it quick, without blinking an eye. People, my jar of weed was dated JULY 2019!!!!! I'm so pissed that they are allowed to rip people off selling them old merc. read more

The staff is great. However, the prices are outrageous and the bud is always really dry. Use Weedmaps, better bud and way lower prices.
