Me and my husband have been coming here since we started coming to Toronto over 5 years ago and not much has changed which we appreciate. It has stayed consistently good. The people are nice and helpful and the products are high quality. I will say since legalization the prices have skyrocketed but I guess that's to be expected. We will continue to frequent here every time we come to the city. read more

So apparently the emails I had submitted on CAFE's website never really reached the owners. I asked a third party site that manages online ordering to investigate, and they were quickly able to resolve the issue with CAFE (and from the email exchanges I read, they seemed to be genuinely unaware of the situation). Within less than 24 hours, I got credit back on my online account, and accordingly I'm changing my rating to 3 stars (A-OK). I don't have strong feelings for or against this place. Just make sure to check the quantities given after an online order. The staff there is usually in a hurry, and they don't seem to have an automatic "the customer is always right" stance. read more

I'm not sure what all the mediocre reviews are about. I dropped in from a 5 hour layover, had to Uber from YTZ to YYZ, and dropped in to check it out. Awesome lil coffee joint downstairs and a bud shop upstairs. I walked in and said, "I'm a first timer, what do I do?" They sorted me out in polite fashion. The line moved ultra quick, I got a triple strength peanut butter dough drop and bounced. The weed smelled fire as well. Making this review as I Uber to the terminal, should be floating by the time I climb onboard. Thanks guys! read more

Visited this shop while seeing family in Toronto (from Texas) - this was the only dispensary we visited on our trip but it was a great experience. You wanna go to the stairs where they'll ask you for I.D, got confused the first visit but they helped guide me to the goods. Being new to dispensaries I let them know I needed a little help and the guy was amazing! Didn't catch his name but he let me know what to get/not to get for my anxiety and recommended me their AMAZING gummies. Grease monkey was my favorite flower of theirs, Pineapple Express gummies we're perfect and they had a cheesecake w/ coconut crust covered in chocolate that I had to get. Made the 25 hour drive home pretty great, thanks guys! read more

Its a black market business so don't expect an amazing experience, you're just there to grab some erb and bounce. If you're uneducated when it comes to cannabis then there is a good chance you will pay more for less (ripped off) so I would probably head to a legal store for the best experience. Came in on a road trip from chicago, and according to weedmaps this place was the closest to my airbnb. its a cute small spot. right away they ask for i.d when you try to go to the back which is fine. my weed was great and 5 stars for the gummies that had me floating. BUT the reason i only give this place 3 stars is because my initial encounter with my sales guy was not a great experience. First, the guy had no damn customer service skills, he stood there with a stank face and didnt seem as though he had much knowledge when i asked questions about products. He just wasnt welcoming. my total on the register was $99 (canadian) i hadnt had the chance to exchange my money yet so i handed him over $100 american. the guy gives me back a coin and im so irritated with his attitude that i walked out for a sec and it dawns on me that he never even gave me a receipt. So i go back and ask his a** for a receipt. while he prints out the receipt im asking him how did i only get a dollar coin back when i gave him american money. AS HE'S SCRATCHING HIS NAME OFF THE RECEIPT he then tells me "O. we take it for face value and thats pretty much how all the dispensaries around here do it" Which not for nothing had he explained that in the beginning i wouldnt have needed to go back to ask and i mightve believed him had he not crossed his name off which to anyone else im sure wouldve look kinda shady too. but i left it alone and just took off since i had a baseball game to get to. The second trip i took to the cafe i got a different guy who was WAY nicer and gave me the experience that was much more pleasant. so to summarize. GREAT PRODUCT SHITTY SERVICE read more

Was in town for a few days on vacation. As we were walking down the street we had our eyes peeled for somewhere for a quick coffee and maybe a bit to eat. Walked by this establishment, seemed nice from the outside, that's about all that was nice about it. From the moment we walked in we felt completely unwelcome, the barista was cold and barked at me that "they don't serve coffee, look at the menu", my bad, one americano please . Also ordered a muffin, which we never actually received but rather than continue this unpleasant exchange with this barista I figured we should just cut our losses and find somewhere worth our patronage. After some later research this place claims to be an "Amsterdam style cafe" and purveyors of cannabis and "fine edibles" which is great, however rather than look at is like aliens I would've just of soon had our ice queen barista simply say "hey, we're more of a weed place, you're better off at Tims" or just served us what we ordered without the attitude. Both Canadians and those involved in the Cannabis subculture have the stereotype of being friendly and welcoming, this place is the exception. Worst experience. Check your packaged product before you leave and make sure you get a receipt or they will scam you. They sold us a box of pods WITHOUT the pods and when we went back accused us of stealing. We literally spent $80 for an empty cardboard box... bad business. They laughed at us and didn't even take the situation seriously. This was our first and last experience with the store. read more
