Apparently it gets really crowded at dinner time on the weekends so we had a great experience with it being less busy. The servers were all cheerful, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is bright and colorful with a strong cartoony Japanese theme. Cute! As I wanted to go the Hakataya around the corner, and my partner wanted to get gyoza, this was the compromise. So I ordered the newly added Tonkotsu Ramen ($12). It certainly is not up to the levels I'm used to. But does the job to supplement a tray or two of gyoza. The frozen beer slushie: It's novelty certainly does not outweigh the displeasure of drinking this thing. The ultimate beer crime.
