Was craving sushi and was pleasantly surprised by the pictures and prices of Tokyo Express. I got the Buckeye Roll, Spicy Salmon, and Spicy Tempura Roll. They were all amazing!! Definitely one of my favorite sushi places that I've tried overall. I did get this delivered and wasn't able to go into the restaurant but I definitely wanna go in next time. Very happy with the food and looking forward to trying it again in the near future. read more

Good food, cheap, and authentic. Service was fast. A hidden gem in perrysburg. Food was hot and plenty of places to sit.

Wait time was better than advised at checkout. Ordered a Philly roll and received something I have no clue about. It was a roll with cucumbers, avocado and a huge chunk of cream cheese. Per their menu, it's supposed to have smoked salmon. Not a piece of salmon was in this entire roll. The chicken teriyaki is just ok. Very dry. Found multiple pieces of beef mixed with the chicken. While I didn't order the beef, I will rate it...would be better as jerky. Paid a decent price and did not receive what was paid for in quality or actual product. Quite disappointed. read more

Where is the Teriyaki sauce??? It is not that expensive, is it. Same with the broccoli. So little included that you wonder where they got the recipe that loads in lettuce instead. Sushi has lettuce instead of cucumber. While I normally would rejoice since cucumbers are related to those slimy pickles, just doesn't taste up to the quality that EB would demand. Their bento boxes are an amazing deal. We love their chicken teriyaki and salmon bentos. Their yum yum roll is delicious! We also regularly order their crab Rangoon. There are about a dozen tables to sit at, but a decent amount of their business is pickup. And he restroom is always picked up, but not sparkling clean. I got the chicken bento box. It was so fresh! They rolled my roll right after I ordered it. The food was flavorful and fresh. Overall very pleased but I hate how much plastic they use. My wife and I stopped here last week for the first time because I wanted sushi. I ordered two rolls and we also got an order of chicken teriyaki. The food was prepared fresh right in front of us, so we could tell everything was done perfectly. The employees were very polite and eager to make sure we were happy. We got our orders to go. The portions were very good and they offered a wide range of complimentary sauces, soy sauce and chop sticks. The price was very reasonable for the portions and the service. Was deciding between this place and the sub place next door, and we made the wrong choice. I got the steak hibachi to go which smelled good the entire way home. When I got home and opened the container, every piece of steak was fatty, but I tried it. The steak was so greasy, I believe they deep fried it and the veggies (cabbage and broccoli) were not cooked all the way. I ended up throwing half of it away and would've returned it if I didn't live 1/2 hour away. I'm all about supporting the local shops, but save your money or go across the street to the chain Asian food place. read more

Honestly can't give this place much more. Not much of a menu online was first clue. It's hard to order from pictures but we tried It appeared clean, we had carry out though. Wait staff was friendly and food was ready on time. Downhill from there Shrimp tempura roll was mushy. Dragon roll was pretty bland. Salmon avocado roll was okay Teriyaki beef was best of entrees. Great little place for a quick bite. Had tempura shrimp noodle bowl today. Comes with a lot of food! Big bowl of noodles, shrimp and veggies, broth. It didn't knock my socks off but for a cold day like today it was great. Also had spring rolls which were good!
