The meat pieces are cut so small that it would be almost impossible not to over cook it. I really liked the way the zucchini and onions were cut and cooked but I wish there was more. I was also disappointed that it wasn't an authentic fried rice with veggies and egg but a tamer blander option that only has corn sparingly. This is typical of a lot of southern towns as the common people don't like to eat their peas. I was delighted to find that they had the option of ginger sauce (not to be confused with ginger dressing) but it was more on the sugary side and less on the gingery side. Overall it satisfied my craving for Japanese food but again I wouldn't want to pay their regular menu pricing for it. It is definitely worth the $8 lunch special price.
