Love love this place. Went twice in one day actually. The cafe culture in Mexico City is unmatched…read moreand this is a perfect representation of that. If you don't want to wait in the guaranteed line at Panaderia Rosetta across town for the famous guava roll, then come here it's the same bakery! It had indoor and outdoor and covered outdoor seating. It was awesome to sit outside and listen to the rain while I inhaled my bakery items. The guava roll of course- fabulous. They even have the jam you can take home with you. They also have a menu of non bakery items. I highly recommend this spot!

We were told the wait would be 30mins but it was over an hour. At some point the staff member removed our name from the list despite us standing right next to the door and waiting (and asking for updates) the whole time. The host was apologetic about this and tried her best to make up for it with a good table. Eventually we were seated and the menu was great. Really delicious food choices ranging from my Mexican flavors to more basic Western options. Scrambled eggs looked good, the piadina was delicious, as were the chilaquiles! Plenty of fresh juice options and pastries (from Rosetta)!

Famous popular spot did not disappoint for their signature guava pastry…read more Highlights: - Guava roll: I thought it would be like a cream cheese danish, but it was so much more. Flaky exterior with the guava fruit center lined with more mellow ricotta cheese was perfect. 5 stars - Chocolate concha; was worried it'd be dry but it was soft and I liked the cocoa powder exterior not being too sweet. 4.25 stars - Day of the dead roll with sugar: ok but was a combo of plain bread and a donut leaking more towards bread and I expected it to be sweeter - Line keeps moving even though does get long Midlights. - Menu is written on the wall when you get inside so don't have time to peruse it as once you get in, it's time to order. Also can point at display cases - Crowded in the pickup area if ordered coffee and need to stay outside and not block thr exit Lowlights: - Does get crowded so will be a line If you want to sit down seems like that would be a real challenge. There's a parklet outside with a few tables and a counter area inside before you order from what I saw.

So, I've been having a recurring dream…read more.. About the guava pastries. Holy moly, so good. What a great way to start our day. I got the pastry and a mocha, and we also got a green juice. Everything was amazing. Going to be hard to beat, pastry wise. Even my non-sweet loving bf, loved it. The staff are also so sweet and efficient, and the spot itself is super cute. Will be back.

Came in for breakfast 7/27/27, table for 4 on 2nd floor…read more Definitely a nice place to have breakfast outside of eating tacos every wherelse. We order pan de dulce for the table and we got 2 conchas, soft and warm just made. A chocolate roll and a fig and nata pastry along with coffee for the table. We order hievos rancheros with the red sauce. Huevos revueltos con chorizo, omelete con flor de calabaza y tamal de elote con crema. We also order a birria de res to share with the table. Service was very quick, efficient and friendly menus can be had in english or Spanish . My daughter order a hot chocolate with preparation table side, she said it was amazing. Fantastic place for brunch but arrive before 9:45am otherwise lines and some slight wait after 10am.

Found on Yelp as we were in the area. Yelp rating is earned. Came in at dinner time, like 5:45 on a…read moreweekday. Sent to 2nd for right away and seated right away as place was maybe 1/2 full. No music beyond the 2 guitar player going around table to table to see if you wanted a serenade. Skipped their offer 1st time around. Pretty quiet, bright and clean. Found that waiter spoke a little English and with our little Spanish got things done. Menus are bilingual Spanish-English. Ordered 4 lamb tacos, chile en nogada, cooked chicken in green sauce and a fish dish (forgot name, little spicy) then a coke, horchata and a pineapple drink. We got chips, cheese, sauce while waiting. Those were all nicely done but average. Dishes out maybe 10 min later. All presented well and hot. We shared each dish. Lamb tacos nicely done, little dry, but they give you some guacamole, a brown sauce, along with the green sauce and cheese with the tortilla chips. Nice, not fatty. Next was the chiles en nogada. First time tried this and really enjoyed, many flavors and nicely flavored beef. In general little on sweet side, so probably couldn't eat more than 1. The chicken in green sauce was a homey, comfort food. Nicely cooked chicken leg and thigh was an ever so slightly spicy sauce. Also came with tortilla wraps and Spanish riceLastly was the spicy baked fish. Done well, fell apart pretty easily, was spicy, but not too much. Had green beans on side done well, not too soft or hard, and Spanish rice. Drinks were all a hit. Coke is coke. Horchata and pineapple juice served in big mugs. Pineapple tastes freshly squeezed and horchata was a super solid example in every way. Oh almost forgot, later in the meal we figured out how to get the 2 guitar fellows to play for us. 2 songs for 300 peso, about 7min total. They did a good job with both the guitar and singing, was enjoyable to listen to them. Would stop back again if in area.
