We ordered our Thanksgiving from Together & Company this year. WOW! I knew it would be great, anything I've had from here always is. But, where to begin?! Turkey breast, full of great flavor- absolutely not dry. I think I'm a Mac 'n Cheese connoisseur, and the Sweet Carrot Mac 'n Cheese ranks at the top! Sweet potato biscuits, unique and fantastic with the honey brushed on top. The corn pudding, biscuit & sage stuffing and whipped potatoes were also so full of perfect seasoning and delicious flavor. I'd like to start by saying it pains me to leave a negative review particularly for a small business who, prior to this event, earned my highest level of praise for their professionalism and execution at my middle daughter's wedding in 2019, however the service that was provided at my oldest daughter's most recent wedding this June was so dreadful I felt I should let others know. When you engage a company like Together & Co you pay a premium and anticipate a high level of service. The positives: * Our daughter, her husband, and their young friends had a lovely time and through my and my husband's efforts were not aware of the issues (older guests were keenly aware and commented on the issues) * The food that did make it out to the guests was excellent * A couple of the team members worked very hard to try make up for the staffing issues * T&C recognized that the event was a disaster and reached out to schedule a follow-up meeting after the wedding * T&C attempted to resolve the issue with a 50% refund for the event, which ultimately my husband and I felt was not sufficient A few examples of the negatives: * Team arrived without enough time to prepare, blocked the main entrance to the event with their vans, and were unloading trucks as guests arrived * Staff was not sufficient in number and lacked experience for the size and scope of the event * A staff member walked off the job at the beginning of the event * Staff members were actively receiving their first training during the event - we have security cameras in our kitchen and have this audio/video footage and other staffing issues from the evening * The passed cocktail hour before the wedding never happen * Staff was mixing the cocktails during the cocktail hour and left them out for guests to help themselves * The 2 bars that were supposed to be open and staffed during the cocktail hour were not open * Guest helped themselves to the kegs * The batched cocktails were not prepared correctly, the drinks ran out, and as a result of the bars not functioning properly we were left with thousands of dollars of unused alcohol - one specific example of this o T&C specified that we would need 12 bottles of a specialty vodka for one of the cocktails. Only 3 bottles were used, and we were left with 9 bottles of unused specialty vodka * The passed appetizer portion of the evening was extremely abbreviated * After the food stations were opened, they were not well maintained or restocked * Quite a lot of food was left over (an entire container of crab cakes was never served) and ultimately was thrown away * Tables were not bused, trash, dirty dishes and barware were everywhere * Staff was sitting inside during the event on their phones * Staff working the bars put out tip jars and had asked for pens to make signs for their Venmo accounts * The team leader was on his phone calling for support that never came. The time on the phone kept him from tending to the event and managing his people. * T&C was going to provide fixings for a taco bar. This shifted to a host cost, and we used the quantity counts that T&C provided. The counts were extremely off, and we were left with a tremendous amount of unused food that went to waste and cost us hundreds of dollars The cost of the excessive food waste, unused alcohol, and most of all the incredible staffing problems made for a most unpleasant experience as a host on a day that should have been spectacular. I'm sad to say based on this experience I can no longer recommend Together & Co would not feel confident to entrust them with any future event let alone a wedding. read more

Utilized this catering service for a higher end professional breakfast. It was ok. Nothing at all stood out... even the signature french toast type dish was basically meh. "Maple French Toast & Cream Cheese Bake Delicious French toast casserole with cream cheese. Served with warm Ohio maple syrup. Full pan serves approximately 20-24pp." Bread layered on top of each other, casserole style, and baked. Not custardy, nor any hint of the purported cream cheese. Not maple-y either. Would realistically serve 15 people. In a catering pan, there just isn't any presentation value. It looked like baked bread pudding - I'd have liked to have seen individual rounds with cream cheese layered in between, or angled and row'd slices. The whole pan was a lump. At $78 for a full pan to serve 20-24, it is certainly a "never again." Ohio Pork sausage patties were greasy in the pan. I had to drain it to make it presentable. Eggs were, well, eggs. I love what they stand for in the community, and they have a great facebook page that highlights their green efforts. read more

From the moment I heard about Two Caterers and their focus on local food and green events I knew they would be the company I used for my wedding. Then, meeting with Angela Rulli I was absolutely convinced I could not find a better catering company. Angela walked me through finding a venue that would meet all my needs (Unique, beautiful, kid-friendly, outdoor space), I think we visited 7 before I found the perfect spot at the Audubon Center. She really took the time to understand my vision for the day and even after the contract was signed, returned my phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner, and allowed me all the changes I needed. Though I imagine my attention to detail and my desire to have the perfect day may have been annoying at times, Angela was always so warm and kind and made it clear that all she wanted was to help me have the wedding reception I had always dreamed of. A few stand out notes: Their bartenders pre-mixed 250 signature drinks the morning of my wedding!! They helped with all decor set-up. They let me bring in my own family-made desserts, but still provided all the display platters for the food. They allowed me to bring my own linens instead of renting them as I had access to tablecloths. Since we had 30 kids under the age of 8 invited to the wedding they were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to set the kids up in another room with babysitters and bring in their food (we did pizza, goldfish and veggies), so as not to spend $40 a head on kids who likely wouldn't even eat the food! I love that they allow you to purchase your own alcohol, a HUGE savings. Finally. The food. Oh my, the food. We did a tapas reception because I couldn't imagine just choosing one entree. They did a great job making sure we had options for our vegan, vegetarian, kosher, gluten-free, dairy-allergy and nut-allergy guests. (Yup! We had all those...) The process leading up to our event with picking out our menu was seamless, and I received multiple calls leading up to the day of the event to confirm all of the details and ensure everything was how we wanted it. On the day of our wedding, Together & Company arrived several hours before our event to set up, and the two servers who worked our event were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond, clearing dishes, making sure guests were happy, and cleaning up/taking out the trash before they left, as well. We used Two Caterers for our daughters wedding just a few weeks back. This is my third wedding in 3 years and I would rate Two Caterers as the best of the three. Where we went to meet them was a bit distracting, but I would tell you to look past that. Working with Two Caterers they met our menu needs, very accommodating and our coordinator went above and beyond for us. Some examples - working to get just the right color of linens, meeting with us several times at our convience, coming to the reherasal and picking up our items that needed to be set up the day of the wedding and coordinating that for us as well. The staff was outstaning. I had several guests comment on how accommodating they were as well as how much fun they made the event with their interaction with our guest. Our coordinator appraoched me several times when she could see I was looking for something and immediately took care of whatever I needed so I could enjoy the night and be with out guest. I work for a service organization and have high standards when working with vendors and I can say I was 110% pleased with Two Caterers. I see there are some lower ratings, but I did not have a similar experince. I had a positive experience and will refer people as well as return in the future. read more

Many of our guests told us that this was their favorite wedding ever, and it is mostly because of how great Carly and her team is. We left many of the details to Carly and her team to deliver and they exceeded our expectations on every level. Example: they have an in-house artist who built us a customized trellis based on photos on the Internet... at a very reasonable fee! They also helped make our venue come alive, from putting up additional electrical wires to get my lanterns lit to helping with candles and shepherds and getting the flowers all set up. Lastly - their food is A+! My husband and I live in New York and consider ourselves fairly spoiled with having been exposed to delicious food, and we were blown away with how delicious the hors d'oeuvres and mains were at our wedding. My fiance and I scheduled a tasting with Two Caterers for our wedding. We scheduled way in advanced and let the event planner from Two Caterers with whom we were working know that we were coming in from out of town. Based on the descriptions of their food and positive things we had heard about Two Caterers, we were very much looking forward to our tasting. Furthermore, we were interested in supporting them because of their support of local farms and eco friendly practices. Unfortunately, we were thoroughly disappointed. First, from the moment the event planner came in the room, it was clear that she was preoccupied with other matters and not really engaged in our tasting. We thought that at some point she would regroup and make us feel like our business was valued, but this never happened. In regards to the food itself, we requested on multiple occasions that we needed some items to be cheeseless because of dietary restrictions in my family. Absolutely every hors d'oeuvre and dish presented to us contained cheese. We might have still been willing to forgive the mistake if the planner had seemed remotely apologetic, but she was not. In fact, she seemed put out at having to figure out how to correct mistakes that TWO CATERERS made. I probably would have let this go had this at least been a free tasting, like some caterers offer, but this was not free. My fiance and I paid $50 to not get what we requested and bluntly put, to be blown off. In regards to the taste of the food itself, it was mediocre at best. For the most part, it tasted like typical catering food, on the bland side and uninteresting. The basil pearls, which sounded like a nice touch of molecular gastronomy, looked like capers instead of being a nice brilliant green one thinks of with basil, and the pearls lacked the pop of basil flavor that they are there to provide. Only one hors d'oeuvre was actually good, the beet and goat cheese crostini. It was well made and flavorful. If you are looking for a wedding caterer, I would NEVER recommend Two Caterers. If you would like a caterer with good tasting food, that actually cares about your business and will treat you with respect, try Sidecar Catering by Barcelona Restaurant, or Catering by Scott. read more

We just hired Two Caterers for our winter wedding. They were fantastic and I would recommend them without hesitation. Just from the phrase "winter comfort food," Angela put together a menu that checked all our boxes. Planning was a little tricky since we were out of town, but they were able to accommodate a tasting with local family, and Angela was prompt with email replies and modified our order a bunch of times as we had to add various items ahead of the event date. We wanted to have mulled wine for cocktail hour, so we showed up with crock pots and the bartenders dished it into warm-beverage cups (the guests seemed to really enjoy this). The food was a lot better than typical buffet catering food: I think the ingredients were mostly locally sourced, and the braised chicken thighs in particular were really tasty. We had a few vegan guests, and the special veg meals they prepared were delicious, even to a carnivore like me (I feel like often the veg meals are an afterthought, but it definitely wasn't the case here). For a late night snack they put out sliders (beef, turkey, and bean), which were a huge hit. A big plus for us was the fact Two Caterers was able to provide bartenders and mixers, while we provided the booze, so we were able to pick the exact beers, wines and liquors that we wanted. The staff were super friendly and definitely added to the party. Bottom line, if you are looking for wedding catering and you want a professional service that cares about the quality of the food and the happiness of your guests, you can stop looking now and just book Two Caterers. read more

Two Caterers handled the catering for a business lunch. Owner was extremely difficult to work with. When setting up the event, she seemed angry about something (not related to our meeting), and her attitude made it difficult to communicate our meal request specifics. That was forgivable, ok, so maybe she was having a bad day, however the food and service was severly lacking. On the day of the event they were 45 minutes late! Certain food items that were specifically requested were missing. The soup was cold.....how do you mess up soup? My family and I are fairly new to the area and had used Two Caterers on the recomendation of a friend. We had used their services in the past and were pleased with the food but the customer service is AWFUL. Unfortunately, this terrible customer service came to impact us in a very negative way. We were to host my oldest daughter's entire first grade class and parents. I called Two Caterers to get on their books and while I had thought I was working with someone to simply finalize the food details, when I called back to give those details they informed me that they CLOSED their book to new business. I only found this out after I called back a couple of times with no return call. The most frustrating part was that I didn't know I was considered new business for that date since I already confirmed the date with one of their reps named Megan. Their terrible customer service left us scrambling 4 days out from the event to find a new caterer that we had never even tasted their products before.
