Ben had purchased our old washer and dryer from a for sale website and seemed like a great guy. I saw some tree service power equipment on his trailer. I asked him about it and he gave me several of his business cards and told me to call him if ever we needed a tree service. I texted him Sunday and he answered on Monday eve. Said he'd be here on Tuesday. He didn't come. I texted him on Tuesday eve and he said the rain slowed him down again but said he would be here Weds "for sure". I made another appointment for today. Ben promised to come today after 3 PM. (It was a perfect non-rainy fall day so no rain excuses) and it's dark now at about 7:30 pm and he hasn't shown up. At no time EVER did he call to explain that he couldn't be here so we spent the whole day waiting for him to come to no avail. If you need a tree service, go somewhere else if your time means anything to you.

Our company, Call The Gutter Guys, was hired by an individual representing Legacy Tree Industries…read morewho identified himself as Corey during our communications and represented himself as the owner. He contacted us to repair gutters that he said were damaged while performing tree work at a home in Shakopee, Minnesota, in May 2026. During our text message communications, Corey instructed us to send the invoice to Isaac, whom Corey identified as his business partner in Brainerd, Minnesota. They accepted our quote and agreed to the project timeline, and we completed the work as agreed. After the work was finished, we texted the same contact who had arranged the job two photos of the completed work. The response we received was, "Awesome job!!! What is the total?" We then provided the total and sent invoices and multiple follow-up requests for payment to the phone numbers and email addresses that had been used throughout the project. When we received no response, we located additional phone numbers for Corey and Isaac and ultimately spoke directly with both of them regarding payment. We also provided multiple methods by which payment could be made. As of July 20, 2026, we have not received payment for the completed work, despite communications indicating that payment would be made. This post reflects our experience with this project. Based on our experience, we would not choose to do business with Legacy Tree Industries again.
