Toddy's has a great selection of hard to find whiskeys, fair prices, and local knowledge.

Nice location in Bardstown nearby hotels and other shopping. Tremendous selection of hard to find bourbon but at very high prices. Great selection of other bourbon and other alcohol. Inside looks like a pack-rat situation. Piles here and there with not much walking space in between. A must visit if you are looking for something unique. read more

We visited Toddy's several times while visiting Bardstown over the weekend. We loved the owner, Guthrie. Super nice guy! Both Guthrie and LaDonna were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. Great little store! read more

It was our first night in Bardstown and decided to check out Toddy's. The Bardstown tourist site listed Toddy's as the recommended liquor store for finding local bottles of whiskey, as well as other types of spirits and beer. Being a whiskey enthusiast, I wanted to see what they had that my home area in Florida didn't. Selection-wise, I thought it would be better. They did have bottles of Weller Full Proof and Blanton's single barrel, but for the same prices I have seen elsewhere in the secondary market and local retail market in SFL. However, I did find a bottle of Early Times Bottled in Bond for about $26, so that was a win since I haven't seen that elsewhere. Overall, the place is ok. It's convenient due to its proximity to the center of Bardstown, and the drive-through is a plus if you're on the go. Ultimately, your experience will come down to what you're seeking. For most people, Toddy's will do the job like most liquor stores. If you're looking for a specific bourbon or rye, it's a crapshoot that you may score a find or not. read more

If you are looking for unicorn bottles and willing to spend out the bunghole for them...then this is your place. It's a small liquor store in Bardstown that lets you know before entering that their prices aren't for the faint of heart. If you've been hunting for and wanting to take home a prized bottle you might be able to find it here, but with a lighter wallet when heading home. read more

The best place in Bardstown to discover and find that special bourbon you're seeking. Floor to ceiling inventory and knowledgeable service staff! read more

Nice little shop with decent amount of bottles. Solid selection of some rare bottles but gonna pay secondary market prices. Off to the next place! read more

Toddy's Liquors - the outside of the store - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Bardstown, Kentucky

Staff was rude. Bottles are full of dust and be careful walking around because it's like a hoarder's paradise.

Shit is horribly over priced! He has it all because it don't sell! Worse than secondary market prices.

I paid $162 for a bottle of Blanton's with a wax seal that was completely broken all the way around the top of the bottle.

Not the Toddy's I came to 10 years ago. The gentleman behind the counter- when I said his prices are out of wack - said "I got smart after all these years". It's a shame - back in NY many of the bourbons are so much.cheaper than in this place. Shop. Shop. Shop. read more

This place is World Famous for their insane prices on Bourbon... I wouldn't buy a Lotto ticket from these crooks! If they ever sell a bottle of Bourbon at their insanely inflated prices, they need to hire someone to clean up this Dump. Sticky Notes for Price Tags?! read more

Good selection of whiskeys, if you want a common bottle at a fair price this place is good. If you want a hard to find at a reasonable price DON'T come here read more

Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Be cautious of their markup. Traveled to Kentucky to pick up a bottle of Parker Heritage Bourbon for my dad for Christmas in memory of my brother who passed from ALS. The cost at Parker Hill is $128. From Toddy's over $400. Really??? 350% markup??? They don't get my business. read more

Last year we shopped at Toddy's...bought a couple bottles of relatively cheap, $20/bottle bourbon. We were told we could only buy this particular bourbon in KY. Lo and behold my wife and I were in Aruba in Dec 2018 and found the same bourbon in Aruba. read more

Beware, these people are what's wrong with the bourbon market. If I could give zero stars, I would. I always prefer to support small, local liquor stores, but shady businesses like this place make me sick. They price gouge by overcharging on everything, including local products. They are part of the secondary problem. Don't sell $50 bottles for $500+. That's absurd. It's not just the special stuff either- everything is significantly higher than ANY OTHER store in the area. Please support another local liquor store. These crooks don't deserve your business or your hard earned money. read more

Has stuff in stock but it's a total tourist trap. If it's anything other than a shelfer expect to pay secondary plus pricing. Nothing but a tourist trap hoping to sell to tourists wanting to hunt the mother land of bourbon. read more

With just one hour to spend in Bardstown, KY on a hunt for good bourbon (disclaimer...I love malted barley/wheat/rye grain beverages: I'm a BIG beer geek, a pretty decent Scotch aficionado, and a novice Bourbon drinker), the folks at Toddy's set me straight. I told them some of the tastes that I enjoy (smoke, earthiness, peat, spice, etc.), and I ended up purchasing three Bourbons, two from Kentucky (101 Old Bardstown and Henry McKenna 10 year) and one from Tennessee (Benjamin Prichard's). I wish I would've had more time to explore this unique and special area of our country, but alas, I will have to return. Thank YOU to the kind folks at Toddy's who helped me get started on the long and patient path of Bourbon savoring. Ok, meanwhile, back to some tasty flavors... read more

Decent selection. A few not so common bottles. Anything not so common is quite literally double the retail price. Everything else was priced fairly, but there were 4-5 different bottles which I know intimately what MSRP is and they had them priced about double that. Be careful you do your research so these guys don't rip you off. read more

WARNING: The lady who owns this place attempted to sell me a 125.00 bottle of bourbon that she marked for 500.00. Didn't even warm me up with any samples or flirt with me. Offended. Beware travelers. Beware. read more

Rude staff that ignored us and seemed bothered when we asked for help. They were charging $59.99 for a bottle of bourbon that I had just seen at another store for $24.99. Only shop here if you absolutely have to. read more

We spent a vacation week in Bardstown this past Christmas and shared with the person behind the counter at Toddy's, (an older woman with blond or grey hair with blue streaks,) that we were from out of state and looking to buy some Blanton's Bourbon. We knew it was not always easy to find, and asked her price and how much she had on hand. She said she had 4 bottles, and the price was $130 for each 750 ml bottle. Not knowing what to expect in the way of price, and trusting that she was being straight with us, we bought all 4 bottles. Imagine our surprise when we visited the Buffalo Trace distillery later in the week and found that their gift shop price was $60 for the same size bottle. To double check, we called a liquor store near our home back in Georgia and were told that they had a bottle and the price was $62. I'm not saying the blue-haired woman sized us up as a couple of suckers and cheated, scammed, and took advantage of us. I'd never say that. I'm just curious as to why she charged us more than twice the going price. Maybe the owner has an answer? read more

Go here and skip the ripoff distilleries, sipping rooms and restaurants. I bought 4 great Bourbons you can't find in Chicago Binny's. Open 8:30 so you can hit the road. I highly recommend it. read more

Enjoyed shopping here! Large bourbon selection, great prices. 2/3's that of the distillery giftshops.
