Back in September, we had work done where they were going to replace the screens around our patio…read moreto include power washing the frame as part of the quote. The owner was friendly and offered a good price with a good estimated turnaround time for the job to be completed. When the power washer was supposed to come, the owner informed us that person's family was impacted by the hurricane that hit North Carolina and would be delayed on that part of the contract. I agreed since that was an act of nature that impacted his worker. Then after a few weeks, I tried calling, texting, emailing multiple times to no response. Eventually I got ahold of him after 2 months and he had said he had COVID and was hospitalized. Now it has been another month since our last contact from the business owner and there has been no further outreach regarding finishing the contract. The screens part of the installation was nice, but our frame still looks like shit since it still hasn't been power washed. I am torn, but due to the continuous lack of communication and not completing the job we contracted, I can't recommend this business at this time.

We contracted with White Aluminum to install a small birdcage. From start to finish the project…read morewent completely smoothly and all the people who were involved (sales through engineers and installers) were great to deal with. In addition, we had been having a leaking window problem in our lanai before we had the birdcage put on. The birdcage attached to the lanai and when we finally had a roofing/siding person determine what the problem was, part of the birdcage had to be removed for the leak was remedied. I called White and they made a 2-man crew available to meet at our house with the siding person. They then removed what they had to and when the siding was finished, I called and they sent out another 2-man crew to reattach it. I waited a few days for a bill and then called and they said "oh, no charge". I was really impressed. This leaking window had nothing to do with the birdcage yet they, twice, sent a crew out to help for no charge. Between the folks I dealt with there, the quality of the birdcage build, and they're willingness to help with the lanai window I would give White Aluminum 10 stars if I could,

There ended up being so many damaged screens that it was worth it to re-do the entire porch. Nick was honest about this without being pushy or salesman-y at all. Nick and his colleague worked hard to get the job done well and even worked through the rain (not for the roof, which would have been dangerous, but on the risers). And the price was excellent! Very disappointed with my experience with Shinedeck Outdoor. The quality of the workmanship has…read morebeen a major concern. The pavers have shifted and lifted, and the finished installation does not look the way you would expect from a professional paver company. When you pay for a new paver installation, you expect the pavers to be properly installed, level, stable, and built to last. Unfortunately, the problems with the installation make me question the quality of the preparation and installation work. Pavers should not be shifting and lifting like this, especially after paying for professional installation. Overall, I expected much better workmanship, communication, and customer service. Based on the condition of the pavers and my experience dealing with the salesperson, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality paver installation. Do your research, get multiple estimates, and make sure you understand exactly how the installation will be done before committing. From 10 different estimates from different companies in the area, this company was the most expensive one. I have no idea why. There is no quality. Shifted pavers and weeds everywhere after sealant was applied from the same company. Now I need to look for another company to fix their shitty job!

The SHINEDECK team did an amazing job with all my outdoor projects! I recently bought a new…read moretownhouse which came with open space on the side and in the front. I have a dog, and so I wanted to add some fenced-in areas for him to be able to play outside. Initially I contacted SHINEDECK for a quote on pavers installation for a small patio outside my sliding glass doors. Prior to the appointment, I revisited the website and noticed that they also do all kinds of other things, and all of the projects I wanted to do were included in their scope of services. Long story short, I had them install the pavers patio, seal all my new and existing pavers, lay down artificial grass for the side yard, put up a 6ft. solid vinyl fence around the artificial grass, put up a retaining wall, put up a white picket fence for the front yard, and install gutters! I was a little disappointed when I was told that they wouldn't get to my projects for at least 2-3 months, but I was elated when I was notified that they would be starting after only 4 weeks. They got everything done in a week and did an amazing job. They helped my vision for the outdoor space of my new townhouse come to life. Salvador (Sal) did a great job as a sales representative and project manager, providing wonderful solicited advice and keeping me informed along the way all throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend SHINEDECK to anybody with outdoor project needs.
