As I have done before, I fully intended to just buy a shopping cart of mixed wood to throw in the back of my pick up, but once I hung out and talked with Bruce and his staff for a while -- swapping stories about farm life, hunting, and marriage tips, I opted instead to purchase a quarter cord of wood delivered to my home the following morning to last me the whole winter. About the lagniappe... Bruce gave me a sample of some fresh beef jerky that he made that was so delicious, so he gifted me the whole bag plus a sack of kindling for good measure! My only regret is that I bought enough wood that I probably won't need to stop by until next year for such a great visit with him that left me so full of warmth just in time for the holiday season! Note: Stacking is an extra $50 after delivery to your driveway, but we did it ourselves!
