Lucas looked at the range and confirmed it was the fan. Even though I was paying 90 dollars for the house call, they sent me an estimate for 298 to lubricate the fan barring or 398 to replace the fan. That was my option. He would not WD40 the fan as part of the house call since he had the back off the stove anyways nor did he do any other service. I sent him on his way, pulled out the stove, took off the back, sprayed WD40 on the fan motor and have not heard the sound since. If it was not for my regular appliance repairman would not work on a Samsung appliance, I would have never call them for a repair. As it is I learned two lessons never use Mardey's for any repairs and do not buy a Samsung appliance.
