After looking to Yelp to find a stylist/colorist, I finally found one! I read that Sevanna was one of the best. Well, they were right! She was very honest & open about how she could fix my 'problem 'hair (I had put a red home color on & it came out awful!) Sevanna was able to make it look SOOOO much better! Ok so here goes: I moved from California to the Eagle area in July of 2018 & had to find myself a stylist. I started out at another salon by a referral from a resident whose hair looked great. And while I liked the stylist as a person she was horrible with MY color. I left after my third visit with her because my hair looked horrible and I started driving around trying to find where I could go for someone to fix it. I drove straight there, parked the car, got out & walked right in & was greeted by none other than...Sevana! HALLELUJAH!! Sevana has been my stylist for exactly a year now (It's our one year anniversary Sevana!! Yay!) & my hair looks great! She knows color & gives a great cut as well due to her many years of experience. She will be honest with you about what color & cut look right on you & what she is able to do with your hair based on each individual's thickness, condition & texture. Wow. We live in NYC and have been trying to find a men's hairstylist out here in Idaho for our teenage son. He has very thick hair that is so difficult to style. This was worst haircut of my life !!! I paid $65 per cut in Seattle, and as I recall Mr. Stewart charged me $45. (I just moved here.) Okay, less is less, but he dealt with my cowlick by cutting that area an inch shorter rather than longer as I suggested. It left a huge hole on one side. I went elsewhere (TS Salon was an hour drive for me) and had the other side shortened. I'd give zero stars if I could. read more

This was my first time going to Tood to cut my hair. I have very fine and thin hair. Small mistakes show up very easily and it has been difficult to find a good stylist who has a lot of experience in cutting short and precision cuts with my hair traits of being thin and fine. Todd knew immediately how my kind of hair needs to be handled. He understood my concerns and did inspire confidence in him as he explain how he would cut it. It was one of the best cuts I've had in years. I'm from Eagle and really like to support local businesses. I've already told family and friends that Todd is an excellent stylist and worth giving him a chance to cut their hair. I have made a follow up appointment for my cut. Nice clean salon BUT...... the first stylist charged a fair price for my cut and color but when I went to pay I was told the next service (cut and color) would be $30 more, that's a significant increase, right? She talked to the owner (Todd) about my displeasure and his reply was "Oh Well". She is no longer working there. Then I went to Justin because he gets such rave reviews (I've seen his work). I was NOT greeted by Todd nor thanked for coming in and now Justin is no longer working there. I have heard from several other former stylists that he is very difficult to work with, that would explain the tension that fills the air. The owner seems very moody and its obvious he micro-manages. I have had short hair for 18 years now, and only 3 different consistent hairdressers during that time. The only reason I changed stylists over the years was because I moved or they moved. Let me tell you that not everyone can cut short pixie style hair! There were a few times I strayed and thought to try someone new and less expensive, and I always ended up wanting to cry because my hair turned out so bad. I can say that Todd does amazing short hair! I went into see Todd when I was in town visiting family and he did an amazing cut on me! It's perfectly asymmetrical, textured, and with just enough funk which is how I like it. Even better he made the natural waviness of some parts of my hair stand out, and was also able to cut perfectly around my cowlick so that it looked like a natural part of the cut. If he is this good with short hair then I would say you will also be in very capable hands if you have any other length of hair. Justin is a master of hairstyling and color. A few months ago he gave my fine hair body that was nothing short of magical. He also was able to achieve white highlights that no one else in all my years has been able to achieve. All other stylists could only give me a banana yellow color. Recently he have me a beautiful pixie cut with light blondes in the front and dark colors in the back. I absolutely loveee it!! I have always been ecstatic with his creations on my hair. I bragged to my 77 year old mother who had grey and very thin hair, so she saw him and came back with a gorgeous brown bob cut with a few highlights, and she looks 20 years younger, not to mention the color stayed very well, which is hard to achieve with grey hair. She is so happy with her cut and color. She sees him repeatedly, as do I. I took my 11 year old daughter to see him for a big change in color. She had dark blonde hair, and she wanted a white blonde. He took careful time with her discussing what color treatment would be best for her long baby fine hair. They chose a light blonde with a very dark "peek-a-boo" color in the back that shows through the blonde. She did not want to cut it, but he encouraged her to just trim the spit ends off. She is SO incredibly happy with her new hair. All her friends love it! I am 44 and have been coloring and cutting my hair since I was 23. I saw lots of stylists in San Francisco and Boise, and was never satisfied with any stylist until I met Justin. He deserves an award of excellence and superior skill. He has a wonderful, sweet personality, and makes you feel so calm and relaxed. Everyone in my family adores him. I will never see anyone else. I am always more than satisfied with what he does and he continually exceeds my expectations. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
