What started as a horrible review, has been rectified by a phone call from professionals with true commitment to customer care. Patient and professional, MC listened to my concerns regarding their rookie agent with benevolence and patience. Her attentiveness and understanding really struck a nice chord. It's sad that I had to go to social media to get attention for a rookie with a lack of understanding the foundations of listening and learning (and having the facts straight) but be that as it may, it jogged them to reach out and go above and beyond. My take away from this experience is - find out how long the agent has been in business, and their experience with the market you are looking at. If its less than 5 years, they probably are too green for you. I do hope the company gives the young lady much needed mentorship and training. She had spunk to last months, but unbridled, uncontained and uncensored. Hopefully she will rise to be a STAR! Thank you guys for reaching out - that is always a good sign of a well run business. I just had a great experience purchasing my home with Kiley Chapasko. I was absolutely stunned by Kiley's trustworthiness, professionalism, patience, respect and knowledgeability. She also coordinated all the work that needed to be done with the seller's agent and contractors. She saved me a lot of time and effort by overseeing all the necessary repairs personally. I couldn't have asked for more from Rick Stone at Today Real Estate in South Yarmouth. Rick sold my father's house remotely (we live 2 hours away) and handled all the tasks at the house site: house cleanout and cleaning, gutter cleaning, replacing smoke & CO detectors, repairing a toilet and all the inspections. The driveway needed to be moved and he got the site survey from the town, found the contractor, monitored progress, sent me pictures of the work, handled all communication with the buyer's realtor, got the buyer's approval of the proposed driveway remedy, and a bunch of other stuff that kept me from having go to the house. This is in addition to the usual duties of listing the property, hosting open houses, showing the house, getting bids and negotiating the sale. What a Nightmare. Thanks to these bumbling incompetents I am in effect homeless/forced into temp accomodation for forseable future. I had an accepted offer for a condo in Hyannis and these idiots - incorrecctly - told me it was a 'done deal' so I gave notice to the apartment I was living in that I was moving, and I had everything set to move, and at the last minute the seller refused to close. Needless to say these morons did not lift a pinkie finger to try to salvage the deal. Thanks to these incompetent individuals I have to move without a destination. A realtor is supposeds to advocate for their client. They did not. They did absolutely nothing to try to salvage the deal. Worse, they lied to me and led me to believe it was a done deal which caused me to leave the apartment I had been in, so when it fell through I literally had nowhere to go. These guys are basically crooks, no other way to put it. Worst. Realtors. Ever. read more
