Service was top-notch the minute we walked in this kid-friendly place. Our order was Burrata con parma o verdure, Risotto alle capesante, and Linguine Pollo e Funghi. Food arrived within 30-mins of ordering, and noise levels were on the lower end. Friendly staff, excellent service, and an on-the-house dessert left us very happy and pleased with the overall experience! Highly recommended!

It's more intimate, but I think has essentially the same menu (and you can also order pizza from Pizza Caratello next door). We came here twice (because it was so close to our hotel, and we enjoyed it so much the first time). I got the Rigatoni Amatriciana the first time, which was cooked to a perfect al dente and tasted great. The second time, I got a Pizza Napoletana, which was also excellent -- really nice crust. For dessert, I got the Flute Limoncello, which was very refreshing, especially given how warm a day it was. Service was very friendly and attentive. I heard a lot of Italian being spoken by staff, so it seemed pretty legit. I would highly recommend this place over the nearby Le Chinon, in terms of food and service.

This was one of my favorite dining experiences because of the intimate setting this restaurant has. They have table top for about 40 max but the best seats in the house if you're no more than a party of three is the bar. You're able to see all the action from the 3-4 staff members, including the husband and wife duo who own the restaurant. The kitchen is very small but damn do they whip out some major flavor. One thing that my cousin and I agreed was the passion and hospitality you feel here. Upon sitting down you're given a complimentary small bite and then eventually given a bowl of bread. I was lucky enough to sit adjacent to the bread cutting station and I didn't even know how much I enjoyed that seat. (Also probably didn't hurt I was able to grab more bread easily. #carbsarelife) Now the prosciutto they have cured here is smack-licking good. I enjoyed the wine and there's a reason why they have a limited menu. I had a wonderful evening and highly recommend you get lost in the city and cap your night here. I had the delectable Vesuviano of proscuitto, arugula, buffala mozzarella, parmigiano and roasted cherry tomatoes. Molto bene! The pizzaiolos do some fine work with the wood burning oven and your piping hot pie will be out in no time at all. The crust is fantastic, though I could stand for it to remain in the oven a tad to crisp up slightly. Still, that's a minor gripe. Outstanding pie. Tables are tight and you need to move one just to sit. Oh well, anything for good pizza. Oddly, they seem to do a popular jerk chicken as well.

Luckily this location was able to squeeze us in for dinner and boy was it worth it. We were absolutely amazed by the truffle pasta (LA FAMEUSE PÂTE À LA TRUFFE). We loved it so much, we ordered another. We also tried the Burrata Mitsouko and the Duck in Love which is a modified version of beef carpaccio but with duck. Everything was delicious, but a piece of my heart has been set aside for that truffle pasta anytime. This restaurant chain is a must try if you are ever in Paris.

Having worked in kitchens before, I know first hand that latecomers are not the most welcome by the kitchen staff when they are trying to clean up and get out to enjoy their evening and the following day off. The food was wonderful, pizza dough was crispy, the toppings fresh in spite of the late hour, and the wine was excellent. Now the prices we have come to recognize in our first few days in Paris are pretty steep relative to Vancouver, which is saying something, but we feel we got our monies worth. One thing to remember in France when using a credit card is that you cannot add a tip on the machine, so bring cash with you to tip. If you add it to the bill on the machine the establishment gets the money not the person who waited upon you. Cash goes to them and them alone. We are leaving Paris in the morning and heading back to Fenice again this evening, a little earlier this time to enjoy their fine food one more time.
