The reception party was to begin at 5:30 pm and the venue lost power at 5:00 pm. No staff member was able to get in touch with a manager and nothing was done for the power. The DJ had to run his generator to power the entire venue. We asked the owner for a refund as his staff working that night and a manager we complained to the next day told us to. The manager said this has occurred once or twice before and they believed the owner would give a refund since the venue was not able to provide any power for the entire night. We contacted the owner and he was hostile creating false reports of making a mess and blaming our string lights for causing the entire venue to run out of power. Our decorator and DJ both contacted the venue telling him that the venue was clean and there was no power except from the DJ's generator, but the owner refuses to cooperate. This is a scam business, very unprofessional. Look elsewhere. read more

Awful wine! One worst winery's I've ever been too. I've been to winery's all over the works and this by far is the worst one. The people who work there very rude and disrespectful. The wine was so bad it left an awful taste in my mouth. read more

I was in Fresno to visit family for the holidays and I love wine so I had to squeeze in a wine tasting and my my how wonderful this experience was. The associate that helped me was knowledgeable and funny. The wine was excellent. They were even savvy and kind enough to ship my selections to me. I can't wait until they arrive. read more

Hidden gem in the valley. Beautifully hidden grounds. Fantastic staff and top notch wine. Who knew?

Went here for a wedding. Yes, it was a nice venue and the wine was decent, but other than that it was less than average because the management is horrible -- it made for an awful experience for the bride and groom, and event coordinators. The power went out for the event and the staff had no idea how to fix the problem -- the owner declined to help and blamed this on the bride and groom. Thank god the DJ had a backup generator and managed to barely get some of the power back for the lights and music. The owner was incredibly rude about the situation and did not provide any compensation or solution -- the poor couple had to figure out power for themselves! OK at best for a wedding venue, but plan with caution, as management will blame you if anything wrong happens. Disappointed. read more

We held a wedding reception here and were assigned an event day coordinator. On the day of the reception, the electrical power was turned off outside so we called the event coordinator who did not answer ANY calls despite the emergency. How were we going to have a reception, lights, Djs, photo booths, etc. without power? Luckily the DJ happened to have a power generator which we used to power the reception ( and the fun ;) but all with no thanks to the winery who totally left us hanging. When we called the following day to let them know what had happened, they were unapologetic and refused any compensation. We payed for a service that was not provided (electricity and event day coordinator). Not cool. read more

Wow! Loved our visit. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a lovely tasting room. I can't say enough great things about the tasting room attendants - they were knowledgeable, friendly and great guides to our tasting trip. I'd highly recomend a visit. read more

It was a nice place. Went to a wedding here and wine tasting. The red was not my favorite. The moscato was great. The property was well kept. How ever make sure you Uber both times I have gone Sheriffs wait on the property by drive way and follow cars out of the driveway read more

I love this place! Great views, great ambiance, great wine and entertainment. I don't know what more you could want for a quick little escape. I've been here several times for large events and private events and the service is always 5 star service. I can't get enough! read more

Over Thanksgiving weekend, I was thrilled to hit the Madera Wine Trail with my dear friend Debbie. This winery was a little piece of heaven. Beautiful grounds, great wines and truly the nicest people. Brought home their Malbec for a dinner I am hosting but wish I would have brought home some of their Moscato and I don't even like sweet or white wine. read more

my sister had her wedding reception here. the venue is beautiful, but owner/management provided an overall terrible experience for the day. the power went out during the event, we couldn't get dj lights and photo booth to work. The owner/management provided zero help in trouble shooting and just blamed us for tripping the breaker even though the dj said there was no way he was using enough power to trip the breaker. Our dj was creative and somehow managed to get power to the things we needed, but ownership just threw the problem on us. Overall the place is nice, but management/ownership provided a pretty terrible experience. Be cautious if you plan to have an event here. read more

I visited their tasting room this past weekend. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Their wine was pretty good too. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping here. read more

I had a wedding here. It's a beautiful venue and I don't regret having my wedding here, but the communication between the staff and to be able to get a hold of people at times is more difficult than I think it should be. (Even with a weedding planner). Paying for the venue and the wine itself made me feel like we should have received better service than what was provided. My only complaint is the lack of coordination and no consistency when looking for answers to simple questions. read more

Beautiful winery but really disappointed with their customer service. Had an appt to tour for a wedding venue, was rescheduled to the following weekend, went to my appt yesterday and was no call and no showed on. Was really looking forward to working with them. Very disappointed since my bridal party and I drove 45 min just to look at the venue and meet with the event coordinator. Never bothered to get ahold of us either after missing our scheduled appt. read more

Five definitely for the experience. 4.5 for the cab/sauv/Syrah blend. If you Iike red, the Zinfandel is super flavorful without being overly sweet. Katie is wonderful. Make sure you meet her. I definitely recommend this place. Check out their patio too. read more

Fun night out dancing and great atmosphere under the moon on a warm summer night with my sweetie and good friends!

Went to Tuca today to enjoy a Sunday with my wife. Beautiful setting and music. Unfortunately the management does not know how to staff an event. I felt sorry for the poor girl doing the wine tasting. We stood at the bar for 20 minutes and then left. The employee was overwhelmed. read more

Came to this winery for salsa night. Music was the only thing that was good. Their is no wine tasting which is not helpful for someone who is new to this winery. They mentioned there would be seating but its on a first come bases. Their is only 3 benches. The gentlemen that was serving the wine had a horrible attitude and very unpleasant. A taco truck was there took my friends about 30mins for them to get their food. I wouldn't come again nor would I recommend the service. read more

We had our daughters wedding at Toca last Saturday. This is a beautiful venue! You would never know from the road what this property holds beyond the tasting room. In the words of one of our guests...Napa's got nothing on this place! working with Gina Johnston ,the site coordinator, was an awesome experience. My daughter and I felt like she went above and beyond for us to make sure that things ran in a smooth manner throughout our event. She was available for us and all of our many questions! I would suggest the owners work hard to hang on to her! She made all the difference for us! The winemaker helped us choose the wines that would most compliment our menu and our guests really enjoyed the wine that Toca produces. Our bartenders that night worked hard and were very personable to our guests. I cannot wait to see our pictures because I know that with Toca as the back drop they will be beautiful! My husband and I had our wedding at Toca Madera Winery, The staff could not have been any more helpful. They were wonderful. The wine is delicious all of our guests were pleased. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we would highly recommend hosting an event or wine tasting at this gorgeous venue. The event coordinator Gina worked with us on everything we needed leading up to our big day and we were so grateful to have her! read more

Four of us stopped in looking for a variety of reds and whites and we were just stunned by the view and the wonderful tasting room. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and just fun guys. They were pretty busy but they were still attentive and encouraged us to take our time. We enjoyed the wine and took a few bottles home. Good pricing on wine and the flights were $5-$8 and waived with bottle purchase. If you are on the Madera wine trail you don't want to miss this winery. read more
