One of the items I had previously bought turned out to be mushy and gross, so I wanted to avoid that mistake again. When I asked for a different option, the employee offered me another product that was clearly just as bad, perceptible through the packaging. He was completely clueless about the products he was selling and became rude when I pointed out the issue. He even started arguing with me, blatantly lying about the packaging information, likely just to save face. Then, instead of resolving the situation, he chose to assist someone buying cigarettes, ignoring me altogether. As I was leaving, he yelled at me, calling me 'weird' and told me to 'get the F*** out' of the store. I am a wife and mother and should never be spoken to in such a disrespectful way. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store in Warrenton. Find a place where the staff isn't rude, incompetent, and unhinged."

This kid comes out and is very rude saying, "you know this is a buisness right? You're taking up all the space, you can fucking park in the side alley," he was very rude and disrespectful. I say he's a kid but he's about 18. He's an adult who needs to learn how to talk respectfully to other adults especially when working. He was very unprofessional and rude. Later when I had a chance I went in to apologize and he was very insincere when he said it was ok. He specifically said "he didn't want to come off as a dick," but the tone he used was very much the tone an asshole would use. They either need to retrain their staff to be more professional or hire entirely new staff.

It's a hidden gem, tucked away but definitely worth seeking out. When I stopped by, the fellow shook my hand, introduced himself, and showed me around. It's NOT a mass market impersonal shop. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Cigar selection is quite good. They don't lean heavy on what I call "mass market handmades" like Padron or Fuente, BUT the selection of boutique brands (RoMa, Tabernacle) is outstanding. Indeed, near my home base it's difficult for me to get those kinds of sticks, but here the only difficulty is pacing myself from not buying everything they have. They do have a great selection of Drew Estates brands as well, so it all evens out I think. Prices are very fair - again, for a sometimes hard to find like Aquitaine Mode 5, it's fantastic that they have a good stock at an approachable price point. The fellow working today had great product knowledge - again, refreshing! So yeah - this is a bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it. Sure I could go mail order, but I like being able to see the cigars and make sure they are in good shape before I hand over the green. I'll be a regular here and I encourage any cigar aficionado in the area to do the same. A perfect example of how a cigar shop should be done!!!

It creates a feeling that pricing is arbitrary and depends on who's behind the counter. Customer service was also a big issue. Staff came across as dismissive and unhelpful, which is a big reason I stopped going there altogether months ago. What pushed this from frustrating to alarming is that I recently had an unauthorized charge on my card from this location, despite not having been there in a long time. I've reported it to my bank and am treating it as fraud. Between the inconsistent pricing, poor service, and now a serious issue with my card, I would strongly recommend others be cautious when shopping here.
