Tried Toastique in Ladera Ranch for the first time and I'm already excited to go back. I got the superfruit smoothie, iced matcha, and the 3 cheese toast and honestly everything was so good, but the smoothie and toast were unreal. The flavors tasted super fresh and high quality. The cafe itself was also really clean and had such a nice atmosphere, and everyone working there was so friendly. I already can't wait to come back and try the açaí bowls and juices. Got the avocado toast with gluten free bread and the man taking my order was so accommodating to my food allergies! It was sooo good. My boyfriend got the mocha, he said it was good but wished it wowed him a bit more. But he still liked it and drank it! Ambience is a bit loud to be honest but the people inside didn't seem to mind. I'm actually quite surprised at how many stars this restaurant has. I was here a few days ago with my family and excited to try this new spot. For the overpriced food and drinks, I expected the food to have flavor and the coffee to not taste like burnt beans. The protein pancakes were bland, toppings were minimal and added no flavoring. Coffee was burnt and actually some of the worst coffee we'd tasted in a while. I'll give two stars to the kids who were working cause they were nice and did their best but wow this place was bad. read more

A juice is $10+ and one time they gave me the wrong drink and I didn't realize it until I started to drink it long after I was in the car driving. This place is not worth the price. Food was good, prices are average cafe prices of today. Small yet roomy because there's only a few tables inside. Service definitely needs improvement. Staff were nice but need training. It was not busy when we were there. One table of people already with their orders, one person waiting for her order, no line of people ahead or behind us. The empty table next to us was dirty (dirty dishes/trash) when first arrived, still dirty when second person arrived, still dirty after we had ordered, it was finally clean by the time we got to eat--which took a very long time. We only ordered two items. This is toast, they're not baking or cooking anything well done back there, there is no reason an order of toast would take as long as an entree that comes out after appetizers. On top of that, when the first order finally came, it was wrong, so the wait continued. I can't even guess the time but it was looong because we were there for over an hour but only sat there talking for a few minutes after eating. read more

Every time I've come to this cafe, it's been a great experience:) Firstly, the atmosphere is very welcoming with workers greeting you with a smile and attentive service. A very sweet worker by the name of Katherine assisted me with my drink selection. She professionally answered all my questions and even gave me her own opinion of her favorite drink. I ended up choosing her favorite drink (the seasonal juice) and I wasn't disappointed!! Also, her coworker Shea had a bright attitude and amazing work ethic as well. Upon seeing them work behind the counter, they're determined to create toasts and drinks to their bestest quality. Went for lunch with my friend, it was our first time. I ordered avocado toast and she ordered a toast with salmon. It was the MOST DELICIOUS avocado toast I have EVER eaten. I drove from LA for this lunch date and it was incredible. The service from the staff was attentive and very caring. One more thing about my avocado toast, the flavors of the tomatoes and other toppings were so special. Every bite was perfection. I am driving down from LA next week to bring some friends for a roadtrip and this place for lunch. This location is a gem. I wish they opened a place up in LA. I was really excited to try toastique! I had their PB crunch toast and an iced chai latte. The chai seemed watered down but it was still okay. The toast though was so great, I would definitely try it again. Someone sitting next to me got an avocado toast that also looked really good and I do plan on going again to try it. What an incredible new find in the neighborhood. Toastique has an incredibly warm and inviting feel from the moment you step in. The staff are all amazing, attentive and it shows how much they care about your experience with them. Loved my experience at Toastique in Ladera Ranch! I honestly had no idea what to expect, as I have never been to one previously, and was elated by the menu options! Salads, smoothies, avocado toast, cold brew, the works! I had the avocado toast with crab on top, and I savored every bite. I also enjoyed the cold brew, which needed nothing beyond the ice to make it incredible. The staff was excellent, on point with client care and efficacy, and management was lapping the place checking in for feedback, which was all positive and excited sentiments! A 5-STAR review to TOASTIQUE! Though I have not yet been there, I met the owner, Omar, and his friends in person and chatted for a good while. Not only does Omar have a very nice, friendly and authentic personality, but as he was telling me about his new coffee shop/eatery, I could tell he was very excited and enthusiastic about the fact that everything there is all natural and kosher/halal. I am definitely starting to recommend this place to my friends and family!! This is the first review I have ever done on Yelp, but had to vent my frustration. The staff there is terrible. I have been there 2 times. The first time, I felt as though I was bothering them, but thought maybe it was a bad day for them. The second time was even worse. As I was waiting to order, the girl at the front just says "Are you going to order?" and even after I gave my order, not another word was said. And finally, the 3rd time was yesterday 2-9-26 at 3pm. As I went in, the girl at the register was doing something on her phone, not acknowledging me at all while I am standing there. I reluctantly said "Hi. How are you doing?" All she said was "I'll get to you in a sec" She then continued talking and laughing about something on her phone before she finally hung up, not saying a word to me after. I was so taken aback by her rudeness that I just walked out. I refuse to go there anymore. I just hope the owner see's how the staff treat the customers here. I've never experienced that kind of rudeness before. read more
