One employee in particular (who I believe is from India) has completely turned this store upside down. This was a store I gave my business to just about daily due to their friendly staff. That was until this particular employee made this store unbearable to even enter. Now he is making the broadway store just as unbearable. The minute you come in the front door he isn't working. He then acts like you are a burden when asked for an item behind the counter because it disrupted him blasting an episode of cops from his phone. He proceeds to make up rules of what he can sell on a day to day basis. Example: today he refused to sell me "rolls" of chew. This man himself has sold me over 20 rolls previously when he was less rude and tolerable at the other store when the broadway store was being built. Today it was a "company policy" and he couldn't sell me a roll of chew. This man's customer service is atrocious. He is beyond rude, is belligerently loud and overall just not pleasant to be around. A improvement would be getting rid of this guy period but at a minimum making him work overnights stocking shelves so he doesn't have to deal with customers since it's such a burden to him. If I could give this store zero stars just for this one employee I would. The rest of the staff is decent but there is a night and day difference from this store to the original broadway employees. Don't let this guy single handedly lose business because he feels the need to play chew god and make rules up daily. Took my business elsewhere, as should anyone reading this.

I came to this CVS to load cash onto my Chime account. The first transaction worked perfectly, but…read morethe second transaction for $500 did not. The employee accepted my cash and told me to come back within 24 hours if the money didn't show up in my account. I did exactly what I was told. When I returned, the store manager and the front cashier treated me like I didn't matter. Instead of listening to me or trying to investigate what happened, they immediately told me to call my bank. I did, and Chime confirmed they never received the transaction and therefore had nothing to investigate because the money was never sent to them. I even had receipts showing that one transaction was ACTIVATED while the other only said ACCEPTED, but they refused to compare them or take any responsibility. They acted like it wasn't their problem, even though CVS accepted my cash. As I'm writing this review, I STILL do not have my $500 back. CVS kept my money, and no one has refunded me or helped resolve this issue. That $500 was my rent money, and because of their mistake, I'm left dealing with the financial consequences. I have never felt so disrespected by a business. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no attempt to help fix a problem that happened in their store. Instead, they brushed me off and sent me in circles. I expect much better from a company like CVS.
