Jillian made our dreams and visions come true! Our daughter married in Orange County and though TBD is headquartered in San Diego, they proved to be the very best vendor to deliver all we required. As an added bonus, TBD handled all our floral needs as well as rentals and design. Speaking of design, Jillian has an extensive design background, crossing several industries, including interior design. She immediately understood our direction and level of formalness. We wanted sophisticated, classic, polished, and elegant. Jillian and TBD nailed it. She elevated every detail. Jillian bent over backwards to bring the design elements that were out of our budget back into the design. She saved us thousands of dollars and we are so grateful for her generosity and mindfulness of affordability. She is exactly who you want on your team. The TBD team is competent, efficient, and so talented. Jillian hired an amazing crew from the drivers and warehouse staff to the designers and installers. They required minimal time and effort on our part. We were able to enjoy our special moments and just be dazzled by the room transformations at our events. We have more events in our future and look forward to bringing TBD in to make our celebrations the very best they can be and creating unforgettable moments. read more

I can not recommend the TBD team enough. If you are hosting an event and need rentals/ florals this is your one stop shop. They are friendly, easy to work with, dependable, trust-worthy, and very creative. We recently got married and Jillian + team helped us create beautiful spaces for our guests to enjoy through out the weekend. Our wedding started with a "coastal chic" themed dinner at the Pacific Edge Hotel, the next evening was a "tulum inspired" white party at the Ritz Carlton, and then of course our ceremony and reception which we chose a neutral and white theme for. Each evening was better then the last. There was a great flow created in the spaces for people to mix and mingle and our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous everything looked and the beautiful flowers. The TBD design team took our ideas/vision and refined it- each event had a polished look. They even created customize pieces of furniture to fit the event. They took care of set up, tear down, they were on time, courteous, and just a joy to work with. I will definitely be reaching out to Jillian + team for future events :) read more

Our wedding planner Amy from Intertwined Events recommended Jillian & TBD immediately when we began the planning process. As a couple who loves simplicity in everything we do, Jillian made the entire process so seamless from start to finish. We had a vision for what we wanted for our Western-Sikh wedding in OC this past October. The Sikh ceremony was at a breathtaking outdoor park on the top of the cliff so we asked Jillian to help us find ways to focus on ensuring it was a comfortable and beautiful experience for all 220 guests. We brainstormed and she brought forth ideas of ways to make such a large outdoor area feel intimate (which we were keen on), and also how we could best seat so many guests on the ground for the religious ceremony. While florals weren't completely a top-of-mind priority for us, Jillian found the perfect way to have just the right amount onsite, and even more (keeping in mind our desire to be as efficient as possible), how to repurpose them for our evening Vow Ceremony & Reception. If I thought I was taken aback by the design of the morning ceremony, I was brought to tears when I arrived in the evening to Serra Plaza, our Spanish plaza-style venue in San Juan Capistrano and saw how the venue was completely transformed to something even better than any vision I had thanks to Jillian and her team. The florals in the water fountain, her beautiful long oak tables, twinkling lanterns and globe lights hanging from above, a picture-perfect lounge area - it all came together in such a romantic and classy way. Ultimately, it came down to Jillian's willingness to hear out our must-have's, be flexible with the unexpected (like full layout changes due to unexpected weather and creating an impromptu bouquet for my vow ceremony when I forgot mine at the hotel :) ), and giving us just a little push here and there to go for elements (like gold cutlery!!) that added the classiest touch. I can't express enough how grateful we are to Jillian for everything she and her fabulous team did. read more

I hired TBD for our wedding to do both rentals and flowers. I had a very specific vision for the flowers and was blown away by the outcome - Annaliese did an incredible job and understood exactly what I was looking for! I was set on including cumquats but they were going out of season - somehow she pulled it off! Each guest table was perfectly set and placed throughout the room. The furniture itself was exactly how I envisioned - TBD has truly quality pieces that worked seamlessly with the elevated modern wood vibe we were going for. I could go on and on but truly every detail was thought through. This team can truly make your aesthetics dream come true. Highly recommend for any and all events! read more

In looking for a design for our wedding day, Jillian and TBD came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator, Julie Scrivener. TBD has a fabulous selection of rentals and a wonderful team to bring your vision to life! I very much appreciated & enjoyed the experience of visiting the studio and playing around with designs and textiles - how fun! As you may imagine, after multiple postponements of my wedding day through COVID - I had a lot of time to think and re-think of what my day would look like. Jillian, Emileeann and the team were incredibly kind, patient and understanding through it all. The reception design turned out amazing, as expected. Thank you Jillian, Emileann, & the TBD team for being a part of our special once in a lifetime day! read more

We hired TBD San Diego for both florals and rentals for our August 2022 wedding at Venue 808. My partner and I have zero eye for design and leaned heavily on our planner (Heather from Willmus Weddings) and Emileeann from TBD to come up with the perfect vision based on our very vague ideas and they nailed it! Heather shared our design board with TBD and Emileeann found the perfect florals, dinner wear, and accents to bring it to life and sent us a very detailed quote. After we agreed to the basic ideas we visited their warehouse for an in-person mock-up of our table designs - this was very helpful to see how everything would come together and make additional adjustments based on what we liked or didn't like. Emileeann also accompanied us to our venue walkthrough so she could see the space and make additional suggestions for items we should consider to enhance the venue. It was very easy to work with TBD and Emileeann was responsive and adjusted our quote multiple times with no issues. On the day of our wedding, Emileeann and her team created the most amazing tablescape, altar arch, and a hundred other details that really made the venue pop. Every single floral was carefully placed around the venue in such a thoughtful way and it was fantastic to see everything come together. All of our guests commented on the care and detail the TBD team took to decorate the venue. They especially liked the floral seating chart TBD created. On top of all the decorations, they created some wonderfully unique bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding party and our families - people could not stop taking photos of the tiny pineapples in all the boutonnieres and the bouquets complimented our colors perfectly! Overall we could not have asked for a better design team for our wedding - our experience working with Emileeann from start to finish was fantastic and we don't have enough good things to say about the final product! read more

Jillian of TBD San Diego is not only an amazing professional and stellar at what she does - she's an extremely kind hearted person and so easy to work with. She designed and styled a white floral boho styled wedding of mine, and her rentals/decor were top notch. Highly recommend TBD San Diego, thanks Jillian!! P.S. I also have to give a HUGE shout out to her team. They put together and cleaned up their setup SO QUICKLY. The team was able to bring our wishes to reality regarding sustainability. We hired TBD for all of our wedding furniture and floral needs, including floral arrangements. We asked for local flowers to avoid flying in refrigerated flowers and plants just for a wedding. Honestly, I don't have enough good words for Jillian. She is probably the most kind and down to earth person I have met in this event planning (mostly weddings) industry. I know her rental minimum some might say is high, but she is worth EVERY dollar. Her stuff is quality, undamaged, and clean. She has a lot of furniture to choose from and is always on time. And if you pick her brain and take advantage of having one of the most creative and passionate and giving minds in the industry you won't mind the money at all. I loved working with her and cannot wait to again. read more

Jillian was amazing, and we had a great experience with our wedding planning and design choices. We loved the openness to collaborate and get the desired look and feel. The choices, the flexibility, and the willingness to spice up the flow were just what we wanted and hoped for. There were many compliments on the design, flowers, and flow. Belle, the day of supervisor, was willing to make game day changes and was open to whatever ideas I threw her way without a blink of an eye. The team was willing to jump in and make adjustments; everything was just as we imagined. We have memories of a lifetime and much of that was due to the design, materials, and the care the crew put into making it special for us. I hired Lauren to create a lounge area for my wedding reception in August 2015, and it was absolutely beautiful. I met with Lauren over a year ago to plan this lounge area. She even met with me twice, I had the first consultation with myself and my future hubs, and the second with my mom when she was in town, before we even signed a contract! Lauren was super gracious, showing us around her warehouse and dreaming up a fabulous scene for our reception. She even drew a little mock-up that was just perfect. Finally, she was also mindful of my budget. She used my $700 to create a little moroccan oasis in a super modern reception venue. It was even better than I imagined it. Throughout the year, I got great customer service. She answered all of my questions, and within as reasonable amount of time as well. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfectly executed. She followed my instructions and worked well with our other vendors at the site. I also saw her at the end of the night tearing down the lounge area and gave her a quick hug! During our consultations and on following phone calls throughout the year, I felt like I was getting great service. The contract was super easy and straight-forward, and there was no funny business. I would use her services again for any other event! read more

I am not sure I can say enough amazing things about Lauren's pop-up picnic... and i say this as someone who thoroughly vetted her and her business prior to use. I was trying to plan the perfect proposal for my fiancee when I happened to.stumble across her website and became intrigued by the idea of a portable picnic. I reached out and was greeted with great enthusiasm. I am an extremely detail-oriented person (very "type A") so I needed a lot of handholding through the process, which Lauren was more than happy to offer. She alone found the perfect location for the picnic and offered wonderful insight into the best places to suit my needs. My fiancee was taken aback by how amazing everything was. We had a nighttime picnic in the middle of Bird park under the full moon, with a great view of the city skyline. The food, drink, and custom flower arrangement were astounding am better than imagined. I rarely (in fact never) wholeheartedly suggest a service, but this is 150% worth it..This was absolutely worth every penny and more, with a beautiful memory and story all with with a great debt owed to Lauren. Two thumbs way way up and not a single negative thing to mention. read more

Jillian and team at TBD brought my vision to life at my 2-day fusion and destination wedding, beyond anything I could have imagined. From "California dreamin'" to "midsummer night's dream" themes - she really understood what I was going for and picked pieces that were elegant, yet fun at the same time. From an outdoor event that needed to be built from the ground up to a traditional ceremony and reception that needed the standard touches for a non-traditional bride - TBD rose to the challenge. Also, the blankets she threw in, in the spirit of partnership, were incredible and I want them for my home now haha. My one, minor, tiny feedback is that I wish Jillian was a bit more responsive in emails - though I know being in the wedding business is busy and time consuming. All in all, incredible partnership and I'd recommend the team to anyone looking for a decorator in the San Diego area. read more

The Pop-Up-Picnic by Lauren Sharon was AMAZING!!!!! I ordered this for my bf for his birthday, and he LOVED the experience. You pick your fav San Diego spot, call up Lauren Sharon and pick between the basic or the deluxe package. She sets up a little picnic with a table, candles, food and decorations. I got the deluxe package which included three rod-iron walls and a chandelier filled with candles! The Pop-Up-Picnic includes a deli-style dinner and dessert. No words could express how unique our experience was. I was able to make my bf feel special, which was the whole point. Because this is a different experience, you will for sure make your loved one feel extra special =) Lauren Sharon was so accommodating through the whole process. I had to reschedule twice due to our hectic schedules, and she was so flexible both times. I also requested special things to make the experience unique, like my bf's favorite wine and she found it even though it was sold out for the season! Excellent customer service in my eyes. Lauren is out-of-this-world great! Words cannot describe just how wonderful it was to work with her. From the first moment we met it was as if I were an old friend she was excited to help! She was accommodating beyond reason and did it effortlessly! I couldn't be more appreciative to Lauren and her team. We rented 11 tables and 75 chairs for our outdoor wedding two weeks ago. All night long people were asking my husband and I how we got so many of our friends to bring their dining room sets to the park! The furniture was beautiful and made for the perfect romantic setting. And to top if off, she personally selected a beautiful table and 2 high back upholstered chairs for a charming love seat setting - a surprise to us! Lauren is absolutely Fabulous! We used Lauren Sharon Vintage for both the rehearsal dinner and our wedding this past weekend. We met with her awhile back with only ideas in mind and no real expectations, but Lauren was able to design and provide what we wanted with very little direction or reminders! We had our rehearsal dinner around Mission Bay and she set up benches as the tables with pillows and blankets all along the sides for us to sit around! It was very cozy even though it was cold that night =) The blankets came quite in handy! For our wedding, we had the vintage furniture for sitting/lounge area. It was beautiful! She also helped design and display our dessert bar and cake on a vintage card catalog. She made all of the signs for each dessert as well. Absolutely stunning. We had a tv/movie theme, so we wanted to make "tickets" for our escort cards. She used this large wooden booth and decorated it with old film reel. Everyone commented on how beautiful those pieces in particular were =) It brought our wedding theme to life! She was easy to communicate with and met halfway when we had to do exchanges. I would love to do business with her again and would recommend her to anyone! read more
