We are summer residents and live on the McKenzie River for 22 summers. We raft the river several times each summer with our friends and family. My husband and I decided to try TnT. We watch all the company's guides on the river and they looked fun and safe from our view on the river. We loved the trip with Tonya, Tim and Bert. The guides were friendly, knowledgable and safe. I changed rafts along the river from Bert's raft to Tonya's to even the numbers and weight. What an experience. Laughed so much and got so wet. We stopped to let people swim and jump off "climbing rock". Later we stopped at McKenzie Bridge campground for a short snack and potty break. Tnt supplied huge amounts of snack bars, chips, nuts, fruit, and bottled water for our consumption. If you want to see the McKenzie River along with it"s class one and two plus rapids, I would recommend Tnt! read more

Tim and Tonya are super friendly and lots of fun, and the half-day trip I took with them down the river was one of the highlights of my recent Oregon vacation. They showed off some of the wildlife, told us the history of the area, and indulged us whenever we asked to get soaked. And, though they joked and goofed off, they were also wholly professional, and I felt safe the entire time. (AND they're cheaper than their competition!) I was nervous because I'd never paddled before and I'm not really an outdoors person. Tonya really put those fears at ease. My family and I had a wonderful trip down the McKenzie. It was stressful for the first five minutes until we got the hang of rowing together. After that it was totally awesome. Tonya was very funny and knew all sorts of fun stuff about the people, places, and things we passed as we went along. Just be sure to look at their What to Pack list beforehand. It was 90 degrees the day we went, but the water was still very cold and I was happy I listened to them and brought a change of clothes! Can't recommend this company highly enough. read more

Last weekend I took my son rafting with TnT. the fun started right away once we got on the shuttle van. Tonoya - the driver and one of the owners, had us laughing right away. The fun didn't stop until it was over. this was a full half day trip - longer than many other rafting operators and the river was gorgeous - filled with scenic views, just crazy enough white water, and some swimming opportunities. One word: Excellent! Our family took a trip up to the Mackenzie River. While at the local market we saw a pamphlet for river rafting. We called TNT Rafting at 10 am and by Noon we were at the Lodge to meet up. TNT took us last minute, our guide was actually called and asked if he was able to come in to accommodate us. Nick( I think was his name) was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the area and river. He was very funny and even jumped in the river vortex. He showed all the rafters where to jump in and swim. Our family had a great time. I would deffinetly come back to TNT rafting. Best Experience! read more

A group of us were in town for vacation and found TnT -- Tim is friendly and enthusiastic, and we loved our guide Ron. It was fantastic seeing the area from a different viewpoint, and they were flexible to our needs as well. They provided booties (great for the cold river water!) and jackets, as well as an amazing time. Some of our friends went with another rafting company and when we were comparing notes I think we had the better experience with Tnt ;) The nine of us couldn't stop raving about the trip and wished we had the time to do a longer one! I will start by saying Awesome! Tim and Tonya were just awesome with everything. This company and team are just on top of everything. From communication and confirmation, to updating us with the season weather and conditions of the river. They have provided us with great gear to keep us warm (because we wanted to go on September with the weather being cold already) they kept us dry for the most of it, up until we decided to play drench the other people on the other raft. If it's your 1st time in Oregon, then I would recommend TnT whitewater rafting. It's a must do activity on the right season of course. The view and the river itself is beautiful with crystal clear waters and fresh air with a touch of adventure and fun provided by Tim and Tonya. And if you ever decide on going, then I would also recommend doing the whole day trip. It is worth it!!! By the end of our activity, we ended up having 2 additional good friends. Our group of 7 had an amazing time with Tanya and Tim. Their entire mission that day was to make sure we had the most fun possible. Both are extremely knowledgeable, and Tim would tell us about the River as we went down. They accommodated our group's every request, asking us our preferences on when to stop, keep paddling, or go for a swim. Extremely affordable! They might have the best rates in the area. Our family of four ( 2 boys 12 and 9 years old) went rafting with Tim and Tonya when we were visiting the amazing McKenzie River in Oregon. They provided us with wet suites, booties and jackets since the river water are very cold, they made sure we were 110% safe and comfortable and that we had a great time!! These two can read the river like an open book. We met at 11 am and out amazing rafting experience lasted until 6 pm, with one bathroom stop and one snack stop, and this is the "half day". We had Tonya as our guide and she is awesome! The views are stunning and Tonya has a lot of knowledge to share. Tim has funny jokes :-). This was a great experience from the minute we booked it to the very last minute when we said good bye. Highly recommended. read more

My family had been visiting from WI, and what better way to show them what Oregon was all about than to go whitewater rafting! We were all incredibly happy with our experience rafting with TnT! Tim was our raft guide, and he truly made the experience unforgettable! I can appreciate that he took the time to go over safety and other necessary information before beginning. I've been to other rafting companies who did not have safety talks at all! Tim had so much information about the Mckenzie River to tell us, and his jokes made us smile! We took a break about midway through the trip and had snacks and warmed up in the sun! We all got the hang of paddling as a team thanks to a great guide! This was our first trip on the McKenzie river, though we had been on other rivers before. Our TNT trip was very fun, professional and safe. Tonya herself guided one of the rafts. Our guide Ron was knowledgeable, safe and playful. The river is beautiful and the rapids are small but frequent. Our rafting trip with Tim was part of a mini family reunion of 7 people, that included three generations and ages from 61 to age 6, with only 3 people who had rafted before. It was a blast for everyone. Tim knew the river like the back of his hand, educated us on the river, habitat and rafting safety, while being funny and fun. it was an extraordinary experience that we will forever remember and I will go back every summer if I can. My family and I were up for a vacation and we took the whitewater rafting tour with TnT. These folks were awesome to say the least, to only rate them a 5 star simply isn't fair. The prices were very reasonable and the trip was awesome. Our guide was amazing and taught us all about the river, the animals that inhabited the area and was simply amazing. Nice to see that the dollar can get one so much! Our trip was a half day tour that was a long 3 hour fun event. Highly recommend this tour with TnT. Rafted a 14 mile section of the Mckenzie River with co-workers and had a great time!! Tim was the river guide on my boat and he's a wonderful, knowledgeable guy. Many rapids and tricky rocks to navigate, especially for beginning rafters, but Tim's thorough explanation of safety procedures and expertise on the river, made it nothing but good exercise and hilarious fun! I've rafted a handful of times before and this was the best experience yet. Cannot recommend these guys enough. We had a wonderful time. Tim from TNT took us 14 miles down the McKenzie river. We did stop and had wonderful snacks. It was a wonderful 1/2 trip day. He made sure we all had fun. He was attentive to all our needs and safety. He was very professional and got to know us and allowed us to know him. He was very supportive and encouraging. Tim made sure we enjoyed our trip. We had such a great time on the river with Tim and Tonya. I was in a bad mood when we arrived, which lasted about five seconds around the calm but kind enthusiasm of Tim and Tonya. My husband and I were in Tonya's roar assisted boat. She was so much fun to talk to and pointed out all sorts of things about the river and rafting in general along the way. Tim and Tonya obviously love people and are great at what they do. They will make you feel really safe, learn a little more about rafting, and have a great time doing it. The river itself is beautiful. It was class 2 when we went, so perfect for beginners or kids in my opinion, or just a relaxing day on the river like we enjoyed. This was our fourth rafting trip and while all our guides have been awesome, this company is still the most personable that I have met. They also have all the gear to enhance your ride, from good booties to jackets to the foot holders in their boats. Highly recommended!!!!! read more
