I needed a Silver Maple tree removed from my front yard, and emailed TNT Tree Service a few days ago. Joann from the office quickly replied and said Tom would get me a quote soon and leave it at the house. He did just that, and Joann also left me a voicemail saying the quote was waiting for me at home. Such fantastic and friendly customer service had already given me a good feeling that I had chosen the right company. The crew came out the very next day and quickly and efficiently removed the tree, with great cleanup and the wood chips from the stump grind piled neatly in place. Easy payment options after the work was completed (credit card or check) and after I told Joann I wanted to pay via check she said no problem, just mail it out. I even added a small tip to be divided up amongst the crew for the great work. Amazing experience from start to finish and very highly recommended. Had TnT remove a tree and grind stump in back yard yesterday. The good he answers the phone which can be hard to get some landscapers to do The bad after accepting his proposal to remove the tree they were supposed to grind the stump and leave the wood And unless i wanted to wait a few monthes for service I had to pay all cash to bump up an appointment Now I did ask him to leave the wood for fire wood and this was a very large maple but asked that it be left in manageable pieces at least and on one side of the yard and I would take care of splitting it up into logs As the job went on there were a few things that made me not want to call this company ever again 1 their truck broke and spilled hydraulic fluid all over neighbors driveway Ok that sucks it happens but this was just the beginning 2. Because they weren't paying attention they pulled down a telephone line that was attached to our house pulling away 3 the large trunks they cut off were left to fall from very great heights and left large holes in the lawn and fell with such force it cut our satellite dish line and we're now without television and I have to pay for a new line 4 the wood that was left was left all around the entire yard wherever it fell it fell and was left The backyard is trashed and the pieces that were left a lot of them were left in such large chunks that it's going to take 4 guys or a chainsaw to cut them up just to move them all in one corner. That is not manageable in size I did call and give them an opportunity to make this right but the owner Tom did not want to accept responsibility for the satellite line or the oversized and scattered wood all over the yard read more

My next door neighbor had two trees cut down by TNT. I was at work while this work was being done. TNT used my driveway (my property) without my permission, matted down and tore up part of my lawn, made a mess of my gravel area in front of my house, and left sticks and branches all over my driveway approach and in the street in front of my house. They did not use my neighbor's driveway (the person actually getting the work done). Instead, they used my driveway because it was easier and more convenient for them. When I called Tom, the owner, he was very rude and indignant, and acted as if I was the bad guy. It was not my tree, I did not hire them, and yet, they used my driveway without my permission, messed up my lawn and my yard, and I am the bad guy? Does that make sense in any way? I am the bad guy because I called him out on how he wronged me? I am a reasonable person. A little saw dust or leaves that would have fallen in my yard would not have been a problem. My main issue is that my yard is private property, and this company did not ask my permission to use my property. They could have just as easily used my neighbor's (their customer) driveway as their thoroughfare for their equipment, and taking the logs and branches out to their truck, but they used my driveway instead. They made money at my expense...and again, somehow I am the bad guy. I strongly advise that you do not use this company as this is how they do business. No consideration or regard for their customers' neighbors' private property. If I could give them zero stars, or negative stars, I would. read more
