We had a great experience wth AeroCITY transfers in Barcelona!…read more I highly recommend this service, especially for the price (about $50 roundtrip for two people). We arrived into Barcelona Airport and the AeroCITY desk in Terminal 1 was very easy to find. The attendant was very personable, knowledgeable, and nice. There was a little wait before we got going, but that is to be expected due to having to wait on other passengers for a full van. The van was very spacious and clean. It had WiFi in the car which was nice, to be able to check our messages and email we missed while on the long flight to Barcelona. The driver was kind (a little quiet) and knew his way around very well. The return trip was even better (we booked a roundtrip transfer at the beginning and end of our trip)! We had an 8am pickup at our hotel for our 11:20am departure flight. We stepped out of our hotel lobby after checking out, and the AeroCITY van was just pulling in. It was 7:56am - perfect timing! We got to the airport with no issue at all and made our way home. Great, timely, and reliable service!

Obviously you know the route I ended up taking, and honestly it was not half bad! I have had my fair share of shuttle services all over and some had me shaking my head while others were absolutely fabulous! Based on the Yelp reviews and dare I say it (trip.....advisor), I was a tad nervous about booking with them. Some had great experience while others fell flat, but I ended up booking through another site that offered a refund in case anything went wrong. Let's see, wheels on the ground, 30 ish minutes to reach them before they closed for the night/morning. Figured it was worth it as my hotel was quite a distance from the airport, so I am sure the taxi's would of gouged my wallet. Fast forward to the landing and the running to the bag carousel to grab our stuff, only to rush to the booth where the staff at Aerocity were patiently waiting for us (Pheww). Check in was straight forward (Handed over the paperwork and verified identity). The nice gentleman offered to carry our bags, but between the 13 hour flight and rushing, I was hard coherent and just carried them myself. Short jog to the newish van, which we shared with a nice couple from France. The driver with another employee in tow (I assume a drop off at home for the end of their shift) was very cautious and we never felt unsafe, which is a huge bonus! Not much chatter from them, but honestly I was completely fine with that, I was looking forward to face planting into a bed. Drop off had no issues and a friendly wave from the driver and they were off to drop off the other couple, no forced tipping or anything. Short, but to the point review. I know many other had terrible experiences based on the few reviews I read, but in all honestly I would use them again, but that is just my opinion.

A few months ago I left a rather interesting review about this place, and while that did happen I…read morejust have had a change of heart and wanted to thank you for the highlights of the situation such as finding us a hotel to stay in and send back half of us a day earlier, also for the drink and sweet treat you gave us as compensation as they were very delicious and what I've come to realise that all that happened created many memories for my classmates and I as those moments helped us bond over shared experiences so it wasn't all bad! And you made us have a quite nice flight back with good seats aswell which was a highlight

When we finally were told to board, we were yelled for not having our passports ready, even though it was a local flight and we were not told previously to have them out. We were flying business class, and the seats did not even have extra leg room. It was a short flight, but business class amounted to sitting in front and receiving a snack and drink. Then we arrived in Madrid, where after 90 minutes, we started to ask, and an employee told us they were coming and we just have to wait, but we hadn't even given him our flight number yet! The next person we spoke to confirmed they were lost. They told us that we could buy replacement clothing and essentials and we would be reimbursed. Over the course of 3 days, they never contacted us, forcing me to call them repeatedly for updates, only to be told to go buy more clothes. The only instruction we were given was to avoid "luxury items" which we did. In the end, we sent in all our receipts to be told that they were reimbursing less than half our expenses because "only 2 of 4 bags were delayed for 2 days.." When I corrected them that 2 of 2 (all) bags were delayed for 3 days, they said that did not change their reimbursement calculation. I will avoid Iberia at all costs in the future and recommend everyone do the same.

This review is based on Premium Bus Service between Granada Bus Station and Madrid Airport…read more I was a little hesitant and even my traveling mate asked would I made my flight?? Bus service in North America bus service can be really unreliable as they never really been on schedule. The ride could be rough and riding a bus in the middle of the night alone? For 38€, I definitely think the ride is worth it. The bus is luxurious! There is even a bus attendant welcoming me and even serves me non alcoholic drinks and a breakfast snack just before arrival! The ride though long: 5 hours but was smooth. Booking process was simple as I booked through Alsa Official website with no third party booking fee. I highly recommend doing that pre travel if you are not fluent in Spanish! Pro Tip: The washroom is located in the middle of the bus so when you pick your seats when booking online, try to avoid that area! I would take Alsa again for my next trip in Spain, especially I can ride in one of those Premium Bus!

This review is based on a 5 hour bus trip from Madrid to Granada, which only cost me just over $20 US. The bus left pretty much right on time and arrived just a few minutes late of the projected 5 hour ride, despite major traffic. Apparently, there's enough demand for Granada during the week to warrant two buses. During a complete standstill in traffic, the driver ahead of my bus left his seat to come discuss an alternate route with my driver and both buses got off at the next exit. We stopped at a rest are about halfway along the way for a 20 minute bathroom and lunch break. The only reason I'm at 4 stars is because the "wi-fi" didn't really work, but unlike taking the RENFE train, I didn't actually have to go print a hard copy of my ticket from a kiosk. The bus driver accepted my online reservation as confirmation, which made boarding much more simple.
