We booked our reservation online, super simple. Found parking across the street. On a weekday…read moreafternoon we were the only two customers! Safety briefing first then Got instructional lessons on how to use two types of axes (one regular "Hachette" and a long handled one). I really surprised myself on how good I was! We had our vs. competition with the instructor as the judge. Had to go 5 rounds to break the tie :) awesome time! They took our pictures at the end and posted them on Facebook the next day.

I went there with collegues this week, and it was SO FUN…read more It was a bit scary in the beginning, because I was worried of how the axe could bounce back and stuff, but I soon realized I probably didn't have the strength to make it bounce back that far anyways so... There's of course basic safety rules that are clearly explained, and there's a waiver to sign - which is pretty standard wherever "combat sport" is involved. There's three different sizes of axes, which all have to be thrown in a slightly different manner. I couldn't really hold the largest one up for very long, so I mostly used the smallest one. I have to say that I only managed to hit the target correctly twice, but it was still a fantastic session! Everybody had a blast! One guy from France now wants to become French-Canadian, and another dude wants to set up axe throwing at home. The music they played was really nice (System of a Down, Rammstein, David Hasselhoff (?!)). It wasn't too loud, and the rock/metal mix energized the place. Close to the front desk, there were even some branded leather goods for sale! The training/service was very professional and friendly. We also appreciated how the group pictures taken at the end of the session had a studio-like quality. They made great souvenirs! I recommended this place to my friends. Very good prices when attended as a larger group.

Need to take out some frustrations from the work week? Or have an itch to shoot some pals with…read morerubber arrows? Or maybe you want to work on your axe-throwing technique? Then this is the place for you. 10 buddies and I came here for a bachelor party afternoon hangout and we all had a blast doing different activities here. First of all, this seems like a popular spot for bachelor party groups as we ran into a few other large group of guys seemingly celebrating too. The place isn't too big, but it fulfills it's purpose. Basically, there's numerous combat sport activities that could be done here - archery range, combat archery, axe/knife throwing, rage cage and NERF battles. For our group, we split into a group of 4 and 6, as the 4 went with the rage cage and the 6 went forward with the combat archery. I can't speak for the rage cage fellas, but I participated in the combat archery and we had an awesome hour of just shooting rubber arrows at each other in different variations of team death matches. Guests are provided facial protection and a bow, but that's pretty much it. The rubber arrows don't really hurt, so there wasn't any need for it. It's completely unlike paint balling. For anyone unfamiliar with rage cage, it's an interesting activity. Participants who sign up for it suit up in some protective gear and are given freedom to destroy a set number of small and large objects (glass, appliances, etc) in a multitude of ways, which include using bats and crowbars. It's definitely a great way to relieve oneself of some major stress. Overall, our entire group had a fantastic time and would definitely do something like this again if we ever had the chance. Just don't forget to make a reservation for your group prior to going.

This place was great, I was in town for a bachelor party and up and along for whatever activities…read morethe best man had in store for this group of 12. Strippers, hookers, dancers whatever .....sadly or not, we got axe throwing and a strip joint that well, hates money (let's leave that for a different review chez paree) Typically ax throwing doesn't enter a marriage story until year 2; when the honeymoon is over, but read on if you want. I believe the best man booked a reservation for an hour it may have been more, but regardless they trained us on how to actually throw, showed us some trick shots and had score cards for an actual round robin competition. I can't even give this place 4 stars for not having booze available, but i want to for the record, yeah yeah throwing axes and booze don't mix, were Americans we don't care. We definitely ran over the reservation time, but rather than shake us down for more money for more time, they gave us the option to buy more (we didn't) and they still let us finish our competition and then got us all together for some photos. No force sell either, I believe they mentioned they would put the photo up on Facebook and then took some with our phones. Would they do this in America? No fucking chance, capitalism apparently is subject to each venu in Canada. This is a real thing and I reason I love Canada for this, that and you know poutine, and the US dollar being worth 1.26 in that funny colored money they have. I believe you can have zero athletic ability (a few at this thing did) and still have the ability to stick the axe, I mean it's an ax, throw it at the board, get good and then you will be fully trained for the zombie attack in America. I plan on throwing a bunch of them while I run to Canada to live, and clearly there will be a significant amount of trained canadians ready to kick ass as well. Just another reason to move to America's top hat. Try it for yourself, and if you are wondering why I kept changing the spelling of ax/axe it's just because I can, don't axe. (I love dad jokes) #fuckyoukeith
