One knob turns the water on (volume) and the other knob turns the water hot or cold (temperature) Left Pat a message and he called back asking me to explain the issue and asked me to txt him a picture of the faucet fixtures. I appreciate Pat being proactive and making sure he had the parts in his truck. He called back and scheduled an appointment for 1 PM today. Pat showed up on time, was courteous, professional and went right to work. He replaced some internal parts and washers and also replaced the tub water spout that had pulled away from the tile. Pat is very reasonable and I scheduled him to come back on Monday for other plumbing issues that need addressing: change out main water shut off valve, install two shower heads, change sink fixture washers (leaking), install new kitchen faucet Honest, reliable, reasonably priced professionals are hard to come by and Pat is exactly that. Happy to share my positive experience and recommend Pat Cunningham to those in need of a plumber.

Evidently the previous owners left wallpaper glue up and painted over it. We asked Steve to sand down the walls, treat them, and paint. I will be calling them again for all my home improvements.

I cant say enough good things about Woodbridge Builders. It's not only the work that a company…read moredoes that matters. It is how they can relate to the client and their ideas and concerns. Manny at Woodbridge was very easy to work with and considered my thoughts too. He drew up a beautiful kitchen plan for me. My room needed to be gutted since the whole set up of the kitchen was going to be changed and we needed new insulation, etc. It has made a big difference in the hot weather. Don, the project manager, was great to work with and also had some very good ideas. He kept the project moving along. You will get a realistic time line that they will stick to. The workers each had their specialty. There was one crew who did just wood working, another for tile, etc. I felt as if we were getting the best for each part of the construction and finish work. Speaking of finish work, Tom is the man for that. He came in at the end and installed appliances, put knobs on the cabinets, figured out how to install the tall pipe on my chimney style exhaust. The pipe needed to be extra long and to be cut on an angle for my slanted ceiling....perfection. I found their prices to be competitive too. No complaints from me. I would highly recommend Woodbridge Builders in Kenilworth. Linda and Gil Weeden Cranford, NJ

My mom had gotten a new roof a few years prior and I asked her who installed her roof. Without hesitation, she recommended Woodbridge Builders. They quickly responded to this damsel in distress and did an amazing job replacing our double roof. The roof never gave us a problem in 30 years! When we decided to replace our roof, based on age alone, we were so pleased that Woodbridge Builders was still in business. Fortunately, the next generation, Bill Kaczynski Jr., maintained the professionalism, work ethic and expertise I was so pleased with back then. I can't sing the praises of Bill, the crew, workmanship, and amazing attitude of everyone enough. The work was done timely and professionally,. My neighbors were in awe watching the process. The crew had a great deal of respect for my property. The clean up was so good that if I didn't know better I would say that no one had been on the premises, of course except for the amazing roof, gutters, and leaders that were installed. They even used a magnet on the driveway to retrieve any loose nails. It's been a really good experience. I highly recommend Woodbridge Builders.

Handyman Paige was also super personable and professional, very happy he helped us out. Mike, Tommy and Paige were diligent and polite, and did excellent work. My standards are high and I like to exercise a decent degree of control over many aspects of projects, and they always accommodated our needs and requests. I had a very disappointing experience with Ace Handyman Services Union County…read more I hired them to complete a small group of projects, including work on a leaking tub spout. The craftsman came out on August 11, and I contacted the office on August 13 with video showing that the tub was still leaking. Over the next several weeks, I repeatedly followed up trying to get someone back out. When I was able to reach the office manager, I was given explanations such as being told she was "the only one in the office" and that one of their craftsmen was on disability. After a few weeks, they offered to send someone over last minute with just a few hours' notice. I wasn't available, but immediately provided several alternative dates. I received no response and had to follow up again more than a week later. At that point the leak was getting worse, so after roughly three weeks of trying to get the issue resolved, I repaired it myself. There was also a pricing issue. I had originally been quoted approximately $1,200 for a larger scope of work. I later reduced the job and was told the price would be $650. My final bill ended up being around $1,000. The office later said the quote was $650 plus materials, which is not how it was communicated to me. I asked for a reasonable partial refund--not a full refund. Instead, I was offered either another visit to inspect work I had already been forced to repair myself or a credit toward future service. After this experience, a future credit is obviously of no value to me. Mistakes happen. What bothered me most was the lack of timely follow-up and the difficulty getting the problem addressed after I reported it immediately. I would not use this location again. UPDATE After a few months, I began noticing water leaking through the kitchen ceiling directly beneath our bathtub. We called in an independent plumber, who confirmed that the tub spout Ace had replaced--a part that never needed to be replaced in the first place--was the wrong size and had been improperly installed. As a result, water had been slowly leaking for months, causing damage to our home. In the end, I paid Ace approximately $1,000 for a job that was only partially completed correctly, another $500 to a plumber to repair their mistake, and now face additional expenses to repair a roughly 3-by-2-foot section of our kitchen ceiling, along with the holes that had to be cut into the wall to access and fix the plumbing. When I reached back out to Ace in one more attempt to get a refund, they claimed my "allegations" were unfounded and that because I handled the repair without them coming out to investigate themselves (I tried for weeks to get them to come back and they ignored me), they wouldn't take responsibility. I'm now left with more than $1,500+ in plumbing expenses, additional property damage, and a company refusing to take accountability for work that an independent plumber confirmed was improperly performed. Ace's response to this post is also incorrect. I initially said had the necessary parts for an electrical job I had been quoted at the same time. We opted to focus on the plumbing projects to start. I wouldn't have had a clue what parts I would have needed for these repairs. Avoid this company at all costs.
