Walker and I agreed that "wasn't it unusual that Greenville didn't have a watchmaker in town?" But he said there are only 1300 approximately in the USA. This location also is a dealer for Seiko, Cotizens, and Bulova watches, but a main business is watch repair. The only downsides are the store is small, so limited inventory on hand especially women's watches and the watch I wanted to get repaired had to queue up and won't be ready "until after Christmas." It's late June. Walker said he can only work on watches when he is not sellling new watches and that is often limited time and after store hours, which makes sense.

They tried to charge me $65 for a part I didn't need. Had to wait for them to give me my watch back because they had to put it back together. When I got home I realized that it was no longer ticking. They voided my warranty by opening it and damaged it, and LIED to my face changing their story saying the never opened it. They are INCOMPETENT and LIARS!!! This IS frustrating for me b/c I've been shopping there since they opened in the mall who knows how many years ago. I HAVE always gotten good prices and service overall though. I take all my watches there for battery replacement, Seiko takes FOREVER it seems but it's not the store, it's Seiko/parts/shipping, etc so I can't fault them for that. AND I'd rather it be done right than have to come back for faulty workmanship. Seiko has to do the testing on the water tight seal which is why it's a little more expensive and time consuming, but no point in having a diving watch that's not truly sealed. Overall a good store, great products and always fair pricing. Very competitive even w/ department stores and the sales they usually have running. They can also order you anything you like, catalogs like crazy! Hope this helps!
