The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go. Private details regarding my exam, diagnosis, and treatment plan were discussed with someone who was not authorized to receive my health information. Patient privacy and trust should always be a top priority at any healthcare office. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Due to the seriousness of the matter, a formal complaint has been filed with Texas Health and Human Services. I would strongly encourage others to ask questions about how their personal health information is handled.
