They asked for a massive advance, took the money, and literally dumped the carpet at our door saying they couldn't fit as some furniture hadn't been moved out of the room. A week before Christmas with all the previous carpet stripped off! Our poor tenants were horrified. We had to get some handymen in an emergency to fit the carpet, but of course they were no carpet fitters and it was all a terrible mess in the end. If you are looking to fit some carpet, please avoid Roger Stonard from RS Carpets at all costs. I have never had worse service in my life. He and his staff were horrible to my lovely tenant and her teenage son who were trying their best to be accommodating.

When we 1st met the proprietor he was very pleasant. That rapidly changed. We were promised the 5…read morebathrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors would be done before Xmas 16. What we got was occasional workers who had insufficient tools and worse still the 1st bathroom had to be stripped as the Ditra mat was omitted. The floor tiles had to be removed and even though I made it clear the wet room membrane had to be replaced arrow tiling ignored me and latexed the floor with no regard to prevent water penetrating into the rooms below. This wet room floor took 3 attempts. As labour was provided piece meal the tasks took forever. We had to provide buckets and extension lead. To be fair Tomas and Andray are able tilers but they are underpaid, poorly motivated and poorly equipped. There was a culture of penny pinching similar to Ebenezer Scrooge. During one week we made it clear the tiling was not to start in the garage. This was ignored causing us great inconvenience. Worse still to come. 146m2 x £55 + vat. No discount. In addition the ground floor was over 100m2 and the garage 24m2. Then theres the gym. Still no discount. In fact his invoice was inaccurate in the bathrooms by an astonishing 30%. Luckily the 3rd invoice was unpaid and won't be. The proprietor ignores our emails. Extreme caution is advised. The owner is selling up and moving to New Zealand so you may ask what guarantees he will offer.

They were always polite and friendly and worked really hard but kept everything clean and tidy. Any rubbish and waste was removed promptly and their tools stored away at the end of each long day. This is the second time I have used Arrow Tiling, they redid my bathroom a few years ago and it still looks beautiful and as good as new, so I thought I would use them again for my kitchen.
