More importantly, my wife and I leave very early for our jobs (I'm usually out of the house by 5:30a) and the team ensures that all is good to go, even under the heaviest snowfall. Have never tried them for the landscaping, though I often wish I had! I just know they would have brought the same professionalism to that as well. He seemed to pay attention to detail and his commercial projects as well as his residential properties were well maintained. I personally observed his employees working at McDonalds on the Post Road in Milford. They were friendly and seemed happy. The landscaping was lovely for a commercial property. I liked the idea that the business is family owned and has been around for a long time. It seemed that everyone in town knew "Matt" and only had great things to say about him.

Hilltop cuts the lawn at our condo complex. Yesterday our A/C unit stopped working. Went outside…read moreand found the unit pushed back on the pad 6-8 inches right after the lawn was cut. We took photos of the tire tracks leading right up to the unit and the obvious color difference where the unit was moved back on the pad. It is very apparent that the worker driving the big zero turn mower through the very narrow area behind our unit got too close. The owner of Hilltop came out to inspect the damage and denied any responsibility. Accidents happen but not stepping up to the plate and correcting the situation this guy is trying to avoid any fault on the part of his company. Poor business decision at best! 7/2720 Owner of Hilltop has reached out and re-examined the damage to the A/C unit. He has agreed to reimburse us for the repair to the wiring and burned out circuit breaker. Nice to see, that after cooler heads prevailed, he was willing to take responsibility and make it right. Turned out that he's a nice guy after all.

By far the worst experience I've had with a contractor. They left my house looking like a war zone…read more No concern for my property and didn't even finish their job. Just cut trees and either pushed them into a space or left them where they fell. All while not even caring about the environment around them. They even dropped trees/branches on my cable and telephone line (Thank God I don't use them) and then just left the wires laying on my yard and left for good. 1 star for actually cutting some trees down, but it's hard to give any type of positivity to this review with what I have to deal with now.
