I was…read moredisgusted that because Optometrists are in a battle with the Ontario Government that they "are not taking OHIP patients at this time". Basically if your too young or too old you are not entitled to basic health care and eye exam. This should not be allowed or acceptable by any physician and should be disallowed by the College of Optometrists of Ontario. You refuse to treat a patient you should lose your licence to practice!

On top of that, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The optometrist spoke a little fast, but that just shows how knowledgeable he was. The lady assisting me on my second visit was very patient through my long and enduring "selection process". The office is located right off the highway (with the added bonus of free parking right in front). Also, their on-line appointment request form is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this optometrist office!

The staff at the front desk, who check your glasses and do the initial eye testing are not friendly…read moreand don't explain anything they are doing. While there they mixed up a record and wrote down what they were doing on someone else's chart. They put drops in to dilate the eye to check for something in the waiting room where there were fluorescent lights and impossible to "look up". To make matters worse, the eye drop bottle tip touched the eyelashes which cannot be sanitary. I think the doctor is ok, but the overall experience is terrible, unsanitary, unfriendly, and frankly unsafe if they can't ensure they are recording medical information on the right chart!
